Does your company send you traffic? Or are you just trying to get the customers yourself? Is it commission or salary? People can sense, when you are trying to push a product on them. Or if you are really needy to sell something. The less you care about the sale will actually make it easier to get it. Since you are so new to selling that product spend some time to really write down the common questions and concerns that people have. Over time you can develop perfect answers that you have in your back pocket ready to use once they ask. It gets easier after every interaction for sure. You might want to consider training an impromptu speaking skill as well. There are free apps that will help you train this with a few minutes per day. Another thing to do is keep gathering some data on the customers that convert and find the best audience. You might find that mostly upper middle class areas want this system. The age of the people might be 50+ etc. It can help you really target specific areas that would want this kind of treatment. You might be able to collect samples of water and send them in for lab testing. I know a lot of water sellers do little strips for people too, however those are not really that accurate. Some statistics on this could help, but it depends on what your company allows you to do. Safety is an important need for people and you can sell them on cleaner water if it prevents disease and sickness. I've seen some pretty cool sales people do stuff like send out birthday cards and etc to their customers. This might sound like a waste of time, but you would be surprised at how much a little personal card goes. This is after a sale too. To really care and keep up with these customers. I actually recommend that you keep a log of all of your customers and some details about them. Things that they prefer and things to they don't like. It keeps your mind fresh once you get a call from them. Because it could be months or even years. Everyone likes to be remembered and not only that it takes it a step further on your relationship with them. Also, get a good sense of why your product is worth $8,000. What is your client going to get for that kind of money? How does it compare to similar products? It should really be able to provide them much more than what they pay for it. That's a good sized investment for people to make, so they are going to want to know why they even want it.

I really want to reach a level where I can pay for everything myself. It's not like I am just messing around and wasting time all day. I'm really trying to earn some money for myself. I realize if I want to make a good amount of money that I am in the wrong business, but I just need to make enough to pay all of my bills plus more to be able to move out. I am starting to get to the point where I just don't want to be around people who have petty shit going on. I can handle it well. It does not put me to a point of suffering being around them. It just isn't what I want to be around. So much time and energy I waste on just garbage being around them. One option still is to get a job, but I could probably grind this out to a level that makes more than most BS jobs available here. If every month was like this month, then it would not even be a challenge to move out. Reselling has fluctuating seasons though. So maybe only have the year is good to get inventory. Half the year is good for selling. If I could actually stabilize $400 in profit from the extra DVD business I bet I could do it. I need to start stacking up any money that I can though. There is a place I could move that is about 40 minutes away that would put me around more items. I could get a lot of items much easier. Rent is higher there though, but it would for sure offset that. That would mostly kill off the DVD business though. What I have here is actually working pretty good. I don't have a lot of issues getting items, but it isn't really enough quantity at this point. Summer wasn't bad at all. I can get a home run here and there still, but I can really sense how much it is drying up now that I am listing a lot more. I would not even be able to find 20 items a day to list that many per day here anymore. I can come back with a good handful. Some days I could probably get that though. It feels like I am just trying to get the bottom of the barrel stuff and it is less and less worth my time. I just wish I had my life purpose figured out, so I could just be going in that direction. I am wasting so much time on bullshit it feels like. I am too intelligent I feel to be just selling used stuff for a living. I am much more capable of making something better myself. It just makes it so tough, when survival is always biting at you to pay each bill, or buy things you need. I can tell just with how my mind works that I can fill it full of a lot of knowledge and really retain it well. I never run into anyone who carries so much knowledge on items in this business. I know so many different items and categories. The knowledge is really not very useful at all aside from just buying stuff cheap. I have a very trained eye at this point for knowing the quality of items. If I could put that kind of skill to something more useful in the world it would make me a lot of money. Not only that, but just something I enjoy more. I like doing this, but I don't really enjoy having a few thousand physical items to organize store. A lot of the situations and things I run into just feel like a bullshit waste of time. This business taxes me of a lot of energy and focus I could have elsewhere. I think the best route for me to do is just keep lowering prices as I move into the 4th quarter. It's tempting for me to just keep going lower to really try to get everything sold. I just need a plan for what I want to do for a life purpose. I can always keep reselling I suppose either way. It's just this keeps delaying me moving out. If I move out though I will have even less time to really even figure this out. I will be working a lot more I feel. The cheapest apartment is like $1,200 a month here right now, which is pushing the prices of a big city. I remember not that long ago there was studio apartments available for even $500. Even two years ago I had an apartment with my ex that was only $700 per month with two bedrooms. Even going into the worst neighborhood with the most toxic aged buildings are not even much cheaper. A basic job could make hardly enough here to pay that with all expenses. I feel kind of trapped without a lot of options on what I can really do. I think I need to come up with some more ways to get more inventory and I could do it. I suppose maybe I will have to travel or something else for more items, then so be it.

@fopylo This has some really good examples on how you can respond to this kind of behavior you described. You can also talk directly to the person and say that you don't like it. To be fair even just saying that in front of other people would probably shy them off doing it again.

If you are in the US there isn't really anything that is making you stay the two weeks. If your boss is really giving you a hard time and there is a better opportunity out there, then it is a no brainer to leave. If the other job wants you to start right away, then I would consider just letting the boss know that you are leaving in a shorter time frame. You probably won't get a great recommendation from him in the future. However, if that boss has that kind of attitude towards the employees their word probably won't be good anyway. Something to consider to is that you will probably never work there again though either if you go this route. However, from the sounds of what you said that would probably be a good thing for you.

Seems like all of the work I have been putting in on my business in the last few months is really starting to pay off. I am not going to be able to hit my $70k goal mostly from just selling too much stuff that I am not able to out list it. I have had a resting week though, so who knows if I would have hit that this month. I am still going to see what I can do though. It seems like things have really turned around for this. I need to be wise with the money though and keep reinvesting it and being strategic with it. At the same time investments in myself are well worthwhile too. I am now ready to get back into my bulk DVD business as well. This time I am willing to take lower prices, but on the same coin invest much less time. I want this to make me at least $400 a month of stable income with minimal efforts. I mostly want to just be wholesaling them to other businesses. It's unbelievable to me that I have sold this much this month. I will potentially 2x my best month ever if I continue to keep selling the next few weeks well. I am not even into 4th quarter yet and I should see a very big uptick in my sales then. I am planning on really thinning out as much old inventory as possible. I don't want to just be sitting on items even if that means I take a bit less for them. I am starting to get a lot more momentum going on the life purpose course. I am getting quite deep into the course at this point. I spent several hours working on it this weekend. It seems like the only thing I really want to do is just make videos. There is a lot of inner fear inside of me I think still that pushes me back form this. I think there is still some lack of clarity for what I even really want to speak about, but I am starting to get that a lot more honed in now. I am going to continue to build my speaking skills and really make a big batch of speeches that will be turned into videos. I want to have months and months worth of stuff batched. I need more clarity though still to really follow up on this. These next few months are very crucial in my reselling business too. I cannot just lose focus because I will need money to pursue any other venture. I am also considering saving up for a really nice video set up. I am really excited to start up with a liver detox protocol. It will be very interesting to see how I feel after it. I've been making a lot of progress testing foods lately and I seem back into optimal energy. I am planning on starting to heavy metal detox next. I invested into the guides that I will need to make it successful. The potential benefits almost seem too good to be true. I will have to see first hand what this is really about. However, researching into this so far it does seem very legitimate. This protocol is over 20 years old and has a lot of credible testimonials. One pursuit that I really want to keep investing is really "fixing" myself. This goes along with all of the detoxes and such. I want to heal any disorder and trauma that I have. I'm not sure what the person will be like on the other side, but I have gotten a very good taste of it. Life has become so good that I am at a loss for words on it. All of this work I have done on my self over the last several years has paid me back so much.

There is almost an infinite amount of career options these days with the internet. Something to consider is the fact that you can self teach yourself coding. You could make your own projects and sell them. You can do freelance coding for people as well. Mastery in anything is usually going to take more than 5 years. University coding might not be as applicable though. I know here in the US you could get a great job in coding without a degree if you are good at it. Degree's are not everything. Certain things like being a doctor though would require it to do much. Even then there is still a lot of work arounds for that. After you exhausted those things what would you want to put your attention on?

Meditation is kind of like investing in the stock market. You really don't start getting massive gains until you have compounded a lot of little investments into it. Meditation is wonderful. It will help calm the mind chatter greatly as you go forward and it gets more and more enjoyable and rewarding. Not at all. I would say it would be more damaging to not have the mindfulness. Look at the people all around you. They are the results of not applying any mindfulness in their life. There are various techniques that are worth trying out. For someone starting out following the breath can be useful. There is a lot of good Kyria Yoga techniques that are aimed at focus if you like that. You might find some guided meditation videos on youtube useful as well. For tripping in the future consider trying some mushrooms. I had a massive issues with an OCD ritual for years and I was able to remove it with one mushroom trip. Not only that my issues from OCD had basically went away for a week or two. It was a massive breakthrough for me. There is a lot of other things that will help bring you to that point though too. I can say for sure that this is something that you can heal and integrate in a healthy way.

It's tough at first with feeling like you are hurting others. It's not really that fun to be on the receiving end of something like that especially after a bit of a prolonged connection. You can use this as a learning lesson for how you want to go forward with more relationships. I try to avoid giving girls any sort of signal at all if I would not want to date them. It's tough in the moment especially if they are good looking. Sooner is always better than later. I regret not breaking it off with girlfriends I had sooner once I knew it likely wasn't going to work. Plus if you do it sooner it will likely be less hard on her. It's good to address it with her if you can.

Putting aside requirements, time, and money. What do you want to learn? What skills do you want to master? What do you enjoy?

There is always something new to be created. No one has a strong hold on either of those markets.

I probably ate those for a few hundred days in a row at least. I had an issue with SIBO that maybe could have came from a lack of diversity. However, I am unsure of the start time of each of those things. Also, to be fair I had a lot of different fruits and veggies in rotation with juicing and smoothies. To this day I eat a lot of the same things with some rotation and I don't really have any issues. I don't think you are going to develop and allergy by eating something consistently. Just make sure you change up your meals a bit with different ingredients to keep your microbiome healthy. It's going to be very personal to yourself. You will need to do a lot of experimentation to see what works well. It's good to try things like an elimination diet anyway to screen out foods that could be giving you issues. So consider experimenting with how you feel with eating them and without. Also, if your diet is well balanced in other areas, then I would not worry too much about it. You can use something like https://cronometer.com/ to get a feel for portions.

@Stovo There are a lot of centralized options for codes. -

I would find more steady investments with a lower return rate if I was trying to live off it like that personally. That or solid ownership of some sort of a patent or business that brings in cash. The market doesn't always go up and a multi year bear market could really hurt your invested capital if you have to draw from it. -

You'll want something with much more gradual effects, or to take it in a way where it will not effect you quickly. Personally, I would recommend LSD as it is more up beat and less in your head. Ideally, for two weeks leading up to a trip you should be in a good stable mood. Positive mood ideally. I would recommend meditation on the come up as well. I've heard dancing can be a good technique to shake off nervousness as well. Have some good positive music selected in a playlist ready to play at any time as well. You should start very small for whatever you try. You will not know your sensitivity or even potential allergies to something new. You want to very gradually move your way up to see how something will really effect you. You will want to buy a high quality drug testing kit as well. Don't be cheap at all with this. Consuming fake compounds could lead to a terrible outcome. I've never tripped with anyone. Personally, I would find it distracting and potentially uncomfortable. You could have a trip sitter though to monitor you. In my own it experience it is better to build up with the substance with amounts you can control. It would be wise for you to brush up on whatever you are planning to take and know the ins and outs of it. Read some trip reports and get an idea of what to expect. If you have some sort of panic disorder, then read reports from people who have that as well. This will be key for you to understand what kind of dosages to take and really what to expect. This will also help ease your mind a lot during the trip. You will not want to be tripping and be thinking about stuff like is this a fake drug, or no idea of what you might experience. All of these precautions will really greatly help you have a good trip. -

Finished the interview today. That host is terrific. I really enjoyed his questions and probing of Leo's arguments. It surprised me how well Leo articulated himself in this as well. -
In my direct experience I feel like my blue light block glasses have helped a lot. Worth trying out for $20 or so.

I'm starting to feel a lot more into my life purpose. I'm going to read some coaching books and play around with that a bit more. The speaking has been going really good too. I can see that I still need a lot more practice and training if I really want to get good at this stuff. It surprises me how good my speaking is already. I just need to get myself to where I have more time to introspect on what I really want to do. I don't want to max out my schedule again and have no time to think. I really need time to think about what is really going on in my life. I'm hesitant it seems like still with expanding the reselling, but it makes the most sense to keep moving it. I think at some point I could really lower it down to just a couple days a week to where it pays all of the bills. I wish I had a few more infrastructure pieces in place earlier, but this works. I did see some really big storage units that are heated and cooled for $200 a month. A bit of a big move, but I think this would be the best route. I could start to go back into wholesale DVDs and just that alone would make me more than the unit cost of storage there. It would help if inventory starts to dry up. That is one of my main concerns right now with how much I have been listing anyway. I've been listing stuff like crazy. I listed over 40 items today with relative ease it seemed like. I still really want to do a solo retreat. I think this is super crucial for me to think about stuff. I should have enough money once 4th quarter is done to go for this. I am going to start slowly moving into the direction of where I think I want to go overall, but hopefully this would give me some more clarity. I plan to start tripping again sometime somewhat soon. I am mainly focused on reselling right now, but as that starts to cool off I am going to really do a lot of deep work on myself.

Spending hundreds directly on your health and healthy foods will give you a good ROI. For the dentist part I think the cleanings are much needed. Bad dental health can cause some serious issues and large expenses later if you don't take care of them. Invest a good $100 into a nice toothbrush and make a good care routine with regular cleanings and scanning.

Most people in this age group are lacking a lot of experience. I had a few girlfriends and even a multi year relationship going into my twenties. I would be totally miserable had I got married to any of them. Not to mention I never studied or really thought heavily on it. I just went and did it with varying results. There is a lot of pressure from stage blue to get married and have kids. I notice even just how my relative talk to me that they would want me to do that. Maybe I would be open to it at some point, but I feel absolutely no rush. In fact I think the slower the better. You are way too young to know who you would want to spend your life with in your early twenties IMO. The people that I know that have had kids or married in their early twenties and late teens have turned out into complete disasters within even a year. Something to keep in mind is that most people don't really develop themselves much though either. So if you were both stage green and up the odds would be much higher for a successful relationship.

I would be much more concerned with all of that shit he mentioned, than a vaccine lol. -
I did reach the 50k listing goal recently ahead of time. I am pretty stoked about that. I am trying to ramp it up a bit and try to hit 70k this month. seems like a really massive amount to add, but I am going to my best to go for it. I've been working on doing things that cut down my time it takes for me to work on ebay. Like how much time it takes to get my 20 items listed a day. I have been gradually doing stuff here and there. I think that I can reach a point where I can knock this out in a few hours, then just focus on my life purpose. My income is a bit more stable, but seems like it still doesn't provide nearly enough. I spend a lot on items still though, so I suppose that has a pretty big effect. All of my strengths and top values seem to be geared toward me teaching. I think that I came up with a good idea on what to make videos on about today. I am still a bit unsure of myself, but I think this would be a good thing to try out. I have been back on top of doing more of the life purpose course again. I really need to dedicate myself to fully completing it this time. I am through a lot of the tough parts and I really put a lot of thought and effort into it. I just need to put a bit more time into it.

I would personally be afraid of the kind of water they might sever me in a club lol. The other beverages as well.

@Alysssa In a sense it would be something like that. There is a term called "spiral wizard" that is specific to it. Also, once someone is familiar enough with the stages, then they could assist others in developing further as well.

Stage yellow would be much more understanding of where they are at in their development. Yellow would try to meet them on their level in communication. This stage would understand how all of these stages are needed and how individuals go through them. Much more understanding and accepting of their level of devlopment. Stage yellow would be much more prepared to fend for oneself against attacks of lower stages using their integration of lower levels of devlopment. Stage yellow would be more capable of sensing ones level of devlopment and interacting with it. Stage yellow would not allow themselves to be a door matt from abuse. Stage yellow would likely start to become more a lone wolf, creating more of an exclusive personal environment. Stage green would want to include all and help all generally. Sometimes though stuck into a specific cause. Stage green would be frustrated that others are not living up to their ideals and standards. Stage green would likely be more emotionally reactive towards the situations and people. Stage green would lack more of the nuance understanding that it is okay for people to be who they are. They would not be able accept that others need the right conditions, time, and environment to grow. Stage green would be much more subject to abuse from the lower stages. Something like a stage green being tricked or seduced by stage red would be much more common. Stage green would be more resentful of the other stages for not sharing those ideas and values that they hold.

Not the best place, but circus circus was quite cheap and fair quality to stay in. Something like $60-$80 a night. Make sure you get the non-smoking room. That'll give you some extra cheese, so you can waste it at the club I didn't go clubbing there, but it's hard to not find an attractive women there.
