  1. I haven't decided if I'll take it. I'm not anti - vax but I'm anti-rushed-vax
  2. Haha yes I have a dream report somewhere in there but can't find it at the moment.
  3. @flume any of Robert waggoners books are excellent. I'm actually friends with him on Facebook ?
  4. And are you holding down a life supporting job while performing all this?
  5. I think it's cool and the show sounds neat. The immortal jellyfish pairs perfectly with the resurrection plant ?
  6. @ajai (phone bug)
  7. @Zigzag Idiot thank you, awesome reply ?
  8. @ajai oh thank you! But it's not finished, I'll make sure to note when it's finished.
  9. @Etherial Cat haha don't worry I'm a bit of a brag. But for fun of course. I always knew I could draw but painting was always something I wished I could do
  10. Lol I was so sure of that for Hilary though... It was very sobering, and I'm on guard a bit this time. Also, please add dream reports to our community dream journal thread : However, if you have a question about how your dream about Biden winning could have triggered the question if you are dreaming, we can discuss that here. And it's nearly free!
  11. That's great, but definitely bare minimum. Do you have something that triggers this question? That's what I can help you with. What you are currently doing will attract the same in a dream, but if you can anchor it to a reminder or particular scenario, the chances of it manifesting rise exponentially. So a few examples : every time you pass through a door... stop, check into NOW, and perform your favourite reality check. Pick one or two and stick with them. Don't stop until you are certain you are not 'dreaming' (body - sleep dreaming). Then, you are more likely to ask yourself if you're dreaming when you pass through a door in a dream. That's an extreme example, depending on how many doors you go through in a day, but dedication to it would catapult your chances of asking yourself if you are dreaming, while dreaming. Remember, reality checks are useless if you don't remember to use them. Perhaps you spontaneously remembered to ask yourself, but how many times does that really happen? Other reminders could be asking yourself if you're dreaming every time you see the sky, or set reminders on your phone or smart watch. There's apps for that too. And for recording dreams. I have a coin that you carry in your pocket, and every time you feel its presence you take it out and look at it. On the coin it says "am I dreaming?" I really need to start using it again... Also, I suggest counting the fingers of your left hand. It's too easy to be dreaming and think the pink sparkly band is perfectly normal, and that's what you're looking for, and you completely fail the reality check. But it's much harder to forget that you should have five fingers. Exactly. Or random but meaningful goals works too. Sure you could go straight to flying. If you need tips, I often teach dream characters to fly. I've been flying in non lucid dreams since a kid. Honestly I rarely fly when lucid because I lose myself quickly and am once again a dream character pretending to be @seeking_brilliance . But maintaining lucidity while flying would be an excellent exercise. We could call it soul exercise, or whichever phrase resonates best for you. You should tailor any of this information until it's completely yours. We will find discrepancies in the things I teach you, and that's perfectly natural. Someone else may resonate more with your experiences. Make this your own. Be Flexible. Other good newbie goals could be building dream skills, like remembering to rub your hands together when the dream is fading and to verbally remind yourself that you are dreaming in order to maintain lucidity for stronger periods of time. Then can try things like opening a door to a new place, summoning someone, or flying to a new planet. As much detail as possible, but you may come to a time when bulletpoints bring back the full story to mind, at any given time. You need to work on memory skills, and there's lots of smartphone apps to help with that. I have toyed with the idea of a dark retreat. I think it'd be better equipped once I master some good breathing techniques for trance and meditation. Wow where are you calling from? The apps that do this will at least help simulate a healthy light luminosity, especially if you are not naturally getting it outside. Take that with a grain of salt, since you may need to research if it still screw with you sleep cycles. Otherwise just turn blue light off completely.
  12. Yes you are absolutely correct about that, especially if that's what works for you!! Great job. So when you can remember at least one dream per every couple nights, without strain, come back and we'll build on that. That'll be three hearts and a wink, thank you.
  13. @ajai yeah I agree about the dark tactics in the name of light
  14. @egoeimai @Etherial Cat thank you so much!! I'm a glutton for encouragement!
  15. I thought I'd repost this since it really was a victim of bad lighting..
  16. This book is very comprehensive. It is half a lifetime of study and experience that he compiles into a robust (but not endlessly long) digestible package. He gives his take on astral projection and lucid Dreaming, and then provides exercises (breath work, energy, and visualisation, trance, etc) that prime the dreamer for conscious dreaming and for deeper levels of lucidity as well. He also teaches his method for WILD, which is pretty simple and straightforward. It even teaches a little talked about subject in the ld world : pellucidity.
  17. Ok, this could mean like sleep fasting, perhaps a 24 hour period, and the protein could be something mental like not watching TV before bed or other forms of entertainment. Not saying that's the interpretation, but I would explore both possibilities, just in case. I do advise to get a blue light filter on your next pair of glasses, and to download apps on your computer and phone which turn off the blue light at sunset.
  18. What are the policies? He's had two debates and a town hall, and yet I still haven't heard any policy. I've heard what he won't do, and sometimes what he will do, but he never says how.
  19. who is this Mario guy? he seems so at peace. And I'm so interested where he learned all of this. Parents? internet? Where is this filmed? That's the stuff I want to know. I also think he's hearing the christian rhetoric and understanding holistically and intuitively and meta. When he says he sinned he is thinking about karma and prison. Even if he's still making assumptions. That guy is a beautiful soul.
  20. The Real and the False Chapter Seven: 6-10 7:6 Attributes of Real: authentic, free of pretense, factual and not merely appearance or thought. Attributes of False: mistaken ideas, inauthentic, temporarily built, resembles but does not accurately depict. 7:7 One must look to themselves and find what's real and false. If anything inauthentic is found, or is temporarily built, then you must call it false, "or at least not call it your 'self.' '' If it is illusory or created to represent yourself but is not actually yourself, then it is false. 7:8 If you were to only practice one thing in life, then stripping away all false pretenses of yourself could be the most effective and transformative. One should always consider the inquiry: "what could I be pretending or affecting that has gone unnoticed." Then watch, everything. Just watch. Watch your presentation, communication, thoughts, feelings, and desires. Watch as you autocorrect. Observe your life transforming under this simple yet unmatched power of awareness upon your own falsities. 7:9 Falsities arise whether on purpose or not. Sometimes we put on falsities, (so easy from childhood playing) and sometimes they arise unawares. We must root them all out. Many of these will be parading around as truths. But just because we feel a certain way, are used to being a certain way, are used to doing certain things, doesn't make them true. We must be alert and observe it all. The practice is two-fold. While practicing intentional authenticity in all moments of life, we must also root out all that is inauthentic. 7:10 A real self can not be inauthentic. If it had a name, it would be GENUINE. Free of thoughts, concepts, images, beliefs, etc. etc.
  21. @Shin share your dreams, lucid or not, in the other thread I posted. When I said I expect nothing less, I was talking about how awesome and badass you dream was. In this thread we just learn how to lucid dream, and sometimes that involves talking about a dream and how you missed a dream sign, and we can discuss that stuff here. But just sharing dreams should be in that other thread.
  22. @Shin however, if you want advice on what you could have done differently in a dream to become lucid, we can discuss that here.
  23. You need to start now!! Tomorrow when you wake up, do not move. Your threads of memory will shred the more you move and become anchored in this reality. Don't open your eyes. Just think. What did I dream about? Find a thread. Could be a colour, a word, a person, a place, anything! Find the thread. Once you have it, take your notebook and write it down. This very act may stimulate more memories. If not, that's OK. You may only get one thread to start, but that's already more than nothing. I have also found that the threads might return to you in the shower or in meditation, or in events that happen to you during the day. Any time a thread of dream memory returns, write it down!! Just wait till you realize how many times you will dream about things that can happen to you the very next day ? @Shin I would expect nothing less!!! Oh and go to this thread to share dreams. Trust me it will be very powerful to do so.
  24. That's great! Means you aren't starting at zero. And yes vividness will come in cycles. If you keep a journal you can track the cycles, some people tend to track the moon phases with their entries. That's cool! Did I come in human or computer form?? You were definitely receiving inner guidance because that's not something I'd tell you, but I'm super interested to see the results! If I get an intuitive meta reading I'll share it with you. Great, sounds like you had good emotional control and didn't wake yourself up too quickly. I think you will be a great natural lucid dreamer, so now we need to build a good habit of reality checks to attract more lucid moments. Knowing reality checks is good for any spontaneous moments you might be inspired to use one - - but the daily practice will begin to trigger more and more in-dream scenarios which will make you stop and think "am I dreaming??" - - and then you perform your reality check. Also, it's very helpful to have a dream goal in mind when going into this, and it will help you stay focused and not fall into the trap of lucid sex. Unless of course your preferred dream goal is to have lots and lots of sex, then go for it! So you need to come up with a clear and defined dream goal, write it down before sleep, and then perform it when lucid. At first it may prove difficult to remember the dream goal when you are on a different plane of existence, but with practice it's really not that hard. I really like dreamleaf. It's got all the supplements I would recommend (besides galatamine and 5-htp) and also just taking it correctly lends to the WBTB method. Gosh I really need to get another bottle! Dream leaf on Amazon If anything, get some 5-htp and take before sleep. Increases serotonin and natural melatonin production and will help with depression too ? Ok so if you are ready to begin, I can help you come up with a personalised reality check regimen. You also should start a dream journal if you haven't, or you need someone to tell your dreams to. You can also add your dreams to my dream journal if you don't want to keep a physical book.
