seeking_brilliance replied to Pouya's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Pouya Pouya doesn't exist, so pouya can't be reborn. Being reborn would imply that pouya is in a new body and remembers being pouya plus this new body. Bodies will continue being born without pouya, just like the body which was born which is mistaken as pouya. Bodies will continue being born and continue being mistaken as a person. In the end though, its all a dream and not really happening. However, the unmanifested will continue to be manifested in infinite ways. -

Yes, or realize that when you wake up you are still dreaming and wake up into that. The feeling will come naturally at that point. -

You probably had a powerful and purging dream and waking up with the afterglow. But you do not remember the dreams. You can replicate this by remembering your dreams, then advance to lucid dreaming, and then ask the dream to help you feel that way. Wake yourself up and carry that afterglow into your morning as long as possible. The goal is to effortlessly carry that afterglow with you all day long, and repeat it at will. Good luck! -

@ivankiss it's the full spectrum, just like this forum, from beginner to advanced, so it's great for learning and teaching One of the admins , Nick Roach, is Realized, but very nice and humble. Your technically not supposed to ask the newbie question about how to lucid dream, but people do all the time. But all that info is in the about section of the group. Other than that, everyone is really helpful at helping you prefect those methods. Just find one that works best for you. -

@ivankiss sorry to hear that, but glad you haven't become discouraged. I typically don't have lucid nightmares, and when I do, I break away and fly to a new location. Dreams are so great for purging. Good luck! -

Prayer is a method for law of attraction. It sets a strong intention and changes the dream, well maybe sometimes. It's less effective than direct control, but that's harder to achieve, due to egoic barriers. -

@ivankiss was this your first lucid dream? If so, congrats! Often times, violent dreams are used by subconscious (or you know, whatever) to bring awareness to certain things that still must be worked on, perhaps to point out any remaining resistance. If you become lucid, you can ask your friend or just ask the dream itself, what the scenario represents. You will receive a verbal or nonverbal answer, if you remain open to the answer. Often times in lucid dream it is easy to have no attention span because everything is so overwhelming and amazing. -

No drugs needed. Everything the op said reminded me of waking up from a dream and laughing because it was so absurd. Dream work is the best free, non-psychedelic teacher for reality that you can have, even better than meditation in my opinion, although the two obviously compliment each other. You should see how many people on my lucid dreaming group on Facebook have come to this realization or are very close. -

There is a story that there is no separation, that saying all is ONE is not actually accurate, but makes the most sense in human understanding. The story goes that the ONE is knowing itself in an infitude of imaginary scenarios. There is a knowing that seeking_brilliance is but a character in one of these imaginary scenarios, or dream, if you will. He/it (the character) does not truly exist, besides the truth of this story of no separation. The thoughts which arise spontaneously in this human body (completely made of imaginary fluff, mind you) seem to give the character of seeking_brilliance a personality and psychology. The psychology is complex and appears to require much unraveling, but one must not forget that even the most twisted psychology of a character is but a dream to the ONE. Actually, the entire infitude of BEING ONE is but a dream of pure awesome imagination, a dream which can only appear in nothing, or no-separation (no - thing). The reason we say nothing is because there are no boundaries. No separation. Never two... not one, because one requires something to compare it to. So it's nothing. ZERO. So amazing that our symbol for zero is an orobouros. 0. Without beginning or end. Within, without, and in all directions, there is no beginning or end. To anything. Formless. The only way to have separation is to imagine it. So that's what happened, and here we are. Kinda. Hello there ???? But these are all stories, and lately they are becoming tiring. To even give them the energy of thought anymore is becoming exhausting, when compared to the ever increasing thought of... "who cares?" It doesn't need explaining. It doesn't need to make perfect sense. It's all stories anyway. The character of Seeking_brilliance will continue its story, just honored to have a part in it. -

You help "others" by helping yourself, and you help "yourself" by helping others. In the end, its all the same. -

Honestly, if I could Lucid dream on demand, I wouldn't give a crap about enlightenment OR egoic desires being fulfilled. Is there a pill for that? -

That which we call subconscious is like an offspring of the Supreme, aka Son of God. That which we call the false self is like an offspring of the subconscious. Another way to put this is that the subconscious is a dream self of the Supreme, the false self (seeking _brilliance) is a dream self of the subconscious. The false self also has dream selfs, or perhaps the subconscious only dreams that the false self is having dream characters or "offsprings", in the same manner that the Supreme is dreaming of the subconscious. The subconscious, the dream self or offspring of the Supreme, is essentially and by all rights IS the Supreme, just as we call our dream characters wholly and completely ourselves. The subconscious has the power in itself to literally create and change matter around it, completely fueled by the power of belief. Remember, the subconscious is no more real than the false self, being that they are both dream characters of a higher power, or higher dreamer. The subconscious simply is the Supreme, and is so sensitive to the power of belief it begins to identify with the false self and forgets that it is Supreme. Just as we separate with our identities when we identify with a false dream self every night. In truth, the subconscious only believes it has forgotten that it is Supreme. The memories or truths are locked away in a cell of its own making. The subconscious and the false self become entwined with each other, and there are times when it's hard to tell a difference between the two. Most of us live a whole lifetime not recognizing the line between the two, and in that reason, the two become intertwined, the dreamer and the dream self, like a symbiotic parasite. They feed each other, hurt each other, teach, discipline, and grow with one another. There are times when the subconscious is the child and student, and there are times when the subconscious is a parent and teacher to the false self, all for the sake of self-growth and evolution. The subconscious is infinite, as the Supreme, and can manifest itself to the dream self, (or in other words to itself) in infinite ways. There are varying degrees of consciousness within the subconscious, and seeking_brilliance is just one of them. At the same time, of course, they are all ONE as well, and empty at the same time, being nothing but more and more offspring of the Supreme.) Even within the one that believes it is dreaming up seeking_brilliance, there are varying levels or layers of consciousness, like Shrek's onion. There is the layer of consciousness that has believed it is seeking_brilliance, and has walled itself off into that layer. There are the levels which are dreamed up every night in "seeking_brilliance's" dreams. And there are the dream characters within the "false self's" dreams. Sometimes the layers are pierced through in those dreams, and seeking_brilliance believes he is lucid dreaming. The problem is, seeking_brilliance does not take it further and pierce through the higher layers. "his" powers of belief is very strong, and the dream is very convincing. But he knows, somewhere, which is of course nowhere at all, that this is a dream. Everything he sees, hears, smells, and feels, is hand tailored by varying layers of consciousness, some of which are slaves to the symbiotic relationship to its dream self or offspring, and some of which are in higher layers that seeking_brilliance, in any of its iterations, cannot fathom. He must be shown. By grace of a "higher" self. This is his plea. Show me, wake me up. Amen. -
