Tj reves. And perhaps Vladimir Putin. That’s like saying you cannot know what college is like without going to college yourself. If what you are saying is true, then how can you supposedly know (without being dogmatic) that we cannot transcend turquoise into coral without getting to turquoise yourself? DB or Claire Graves is not at turquoise but they still invented the model from a lower stage.
-
We definitly can intelectually with our consciousness.
-
Stage coral was confirmed by Don Beck if you watch the video. The model does not break down. You do not transcend a stage like a staircase, but like a wave. It also makes logical sence since ‘we’ are trapped in ‘here’ afterall because of our brain or ego. Much like a videogame. We can understand higher stages intelectually. Experiencing it is another matter.

Just wait for AI...

Some kind of supermind, don’t really know.

Like a psychopath with empaty hahaha. But in all seriousness I think Coral just want the system to survive at all cost. I think the guy in the videos might be orange-yellow but this might actually be Coral: Skip to 34 minutes for the Coral Vmeme.

Honestly i don't really know. He talks about realizing that you ARE responsibility when you get to turquoise and passivly sitting and accepting will not solve mankinds problems. He might just be a mixture of orange-yellow with some turquoise ideas. But the point here is to shine some light on excesses of turqoise. I think that you need to identify what you need to destroy in order for the system to synthesize properly and for mankind to survive. That is what Coral is about. Not everyone can be turquoise. He also gave a great analogy for Spiral Dynamics, school. If you get a C in mathematics in grade 5 lets say, and fail to master the level completely. If you then go to high school and do more advanced math it won't be easy. You need to master algebra before you can go master differential equations. That's why he makes sure to master every stage from beige to turquoise. But you might be right about him just being narcissistic. Nobody knows for sure. Coral strives for power. For without power you will never solve anything. That is the root problem of turquoise. To obtain power you need to master systemic thinking and be individualistic. It would be easier to solve problems from a president's POV compared to a spiritual masters POV. Another trap of turquoise is that it is being too ideological. That is described in great detail above.

I don't think so.

Probably Coral

Didn’t read it. Just heard it and needed to provide proof. Did some research on this before. By the way. If you want to convince someone who is asking a question, do not express your point of view to them and get mad because they don’t agree with your explanation. I think you are the one being reactionary. Instead of trying to ‘expose’ people like a bully, explore the other parts perspective. It would help people take you more seriously. How do i know? Common sense. Did you know most SSRI drugs don’t pass the nocebo-effect in studies? I don’t see how this is any different. https://www.google.no/amp/s/www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/women-who-stray/201503/the-nofap-phenomenon%3famp https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/NoFap https://www.catholicworldreport.com/2017/03/27/fighting-the-porn-myth-with-science/

A quote from quora: NoFap is absolute bullshit. It makes no sense whatsoever. It spreads horrendous lies all in the name of sex-negativity. It shames masturbation and sex. It is also rooted in toxic masculinity, homophobia, and horrendous misconceptions about the human body and human sexuality. There are tons of videos all over the Internet attesting to the purported benefits of abstaining from masturbation. They include: Increased muscle growth. Increased mental strength. Increased testosterone levels. Reduced anxiety or sadness. Stronger masculinity. Becoming more attractive to other people / attracting more potential sex partners. Social acceptance—bullying will stop. Increase in confidence. Increase in energy. Cures erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. None of this is true. Masturbating has no effect on muscle growth. It’s effect on testosterone levels is minimal and temporary and if anything, sexual activity causes a rise in testosterone. Though, this rise is likely to be brief. If a person has an anxiety disorder, refraining from masturbation will not cure it nor will it serve as sufficient treatment. People with mental illnesses need treatment from trained professionals who can provide therapy and medication. Further, masturbation is known to be a stress-reliever for many. Abstaining from it is unlikely to make you any happier or less stressed. Masturbating will also have little to no effect on your attractiveness, social acceptance, confidence, or medical conditions. How it would affect any of these things, I do not know. If there is an effect, I would venture that the effect is the opposite of what NoFap claims. One such example: It is ironic that many proclaim NoFap can cure premature ejaculation as many have reported that masturbation edging techniques have helped them learn how to last longer in bed. Masturbation itself can help treat premature ejaculation, in some cases. Refraining from masturbation may actually worsen a case of premature ejaculation. One video on NoFap stated that masturbation makes men weak and feminine. Masturbating does not make you weak nor feminine. Masturbating is neither a masculine nor a feminine activity—both men and women engage in masturbation. Further, lumping the terms “weak” and “feminine” together is offensive as it suggests that women are inherently weaker than men—morally and mentally. This is not true. Men and women are of equal value. Both are capable of strength. This line of thinking—that masturbation is feminine and weak—is factually incorrect and sexist. The explanation for how masturbation reduces your masculinity is comical. One video explains that when you masturbate, you release sperm. It states that sperm is a defining characteristic of masculinity—women cannot produce sperm. Because of this, sperm is the essence of our masculinity. Now, when we masturbate, we lose our sperm and thus our masculinity. But this explanation is nonsense. First, it is factually incorrect. Sperm is regenerated constantly in the body. There is a cycle of sperm regeneration that is always ongoing. A man cannot simply run out of sperm. Second, it assumes that masculinity is an important concept that must be held onto. This isn’t true. Nobody needs to be masculine.

Yes, but we have receptors downregulating and upregulating to maintain homeostasis, so we don't really get anything significant out of nofap. https://www.webmd.com/prostate-cancer/ejaculation-prostate-cancer-risk#1

A lot of blue here.. Don’t listen to these guys telling you it’s not normal. It’s a part of being a teenager and completely natural, don’t be ashamed. As for testosterone, studies have shown that masturbating once a week give you a spike in testosterone on the 7th day. But it’s almost nothing so i wouldn’t worry about it. The nofap movement is more a placebo effect rather than actual increase in testosterone. If you decide to try it you should try getting off once a month or so to reduce your risks of prostate cancer.

Maybe.. but how do you know? He might be a combination of yellow and turquoise.
-
He might purposely be decieving himself for entertainment, that’s why ‘we’ are here afterall. I think life really is like a videogame. And to be happy you need to master the stages. Up to turquoise you defeat your ego. But the bigger picture is using your ego with your anti-ego or consciousness. Like making your unconscious and conscious parts of the brain synthesising. And after mastering ‘yourself’, you win. And start to change ‘yourself’ (the world) through your ego. While also being deathproof in a videogame, and having fun (self- deception). He might also be deluded but be careful that you are not being fooled by your own ego saying that.

How do you appreciate other people's ignorance rather than explaining or getting annoyed at them and being percieved as arrogant or trying to be morally superior?

Addiction to comfort, either physical comfort or mental comfort.

I want to make a difference in the world with systemic thinking. But i don't know what job to pick, im going to university soon. Any tips?

Stage red with the same layout as the other stages. I think this applies to a lot of people when they are under stressful situations.
-
I vote yes

Because you need to work up to it. Like in Spiral Dynamics. This is probably stage orange. I don't think you get disbelif of your self image after spiritual enlightenment, but rather a new understanding that "yourself" is just an idea inside yourself. Basicly, you don't become upset at "yourself" anymore. Stage turquoise might be to hard to grasp for you at the moment. If you develop yourself up the spiral, it will start to make a lot more sense. If you haven't watched Leo's series on SD i recommend you do that.

It's sad because i live there.. A couple years back there was a horrible killer that murdred 80 teenagers. He sued the prison for "inhumane" treatment because they didn't have enough videogames. True story.

I don’t want to evolve if that means life is going to get boring and pointless. Tier 2 seems like it’s just washing away the colors of life. Especially with nonduality.

I agree i think this is probably what i should be focusing on right now. Maybe when im old im going to pursue some higher consciousness. Thank you for your perspective.
