@Preetom hey here's a great question, can enlightenment happen gradually or does it always hit you like a fucking freight train????

@Nahm I know all about this stuff, but it hasn't hit my core yet, there has been only a little shift in conciousness, not the whole shabang. How can one thought be who you are? You would need the be that thought every second of you're entire life. the only thing that I have been my whole life is awareness. problem is I was taught this, so it didn't hit my core & enlighten me like it did to Echart. It harder to become enlightened once you spend many of you're waking hours learning about it. ?

@Adamg strong determination sitting leo has a video on it & shinzen young, combine that with self inquiry at the same time & that is what many people say can lead you to enlightenment. ?

@Preetom that's why I think it's a bit funny Echart teaches, he did self inquiry to become enlightened & he didn't even know what he was doing, luckily he became enlightened basically by dumb luck. He really has no teaching method besides stay in the present moment, in all honestly he should be preaching self inquiry that's what got him there...by hey what the hell do "I" know I'm not enlightened lol..? Funny you mentioned the hermit thing as well, I currently going through a medium case of kundalini, my body apparently is prepping itself naturally for enlightenment "they say" ..it also won't be as much as shock factor after when it does happen to me, (cause the kundalini stuff is showing me what the body can do) hopefully I'll still make it work when it does happen lol

A year & 1/2 ago a horrible OCD disease called pure O came crashing into my life like a freight train i never saw coming, terrible thoughts came creeping into my mind all day long. I thought well I finally lost my shit, thought I was gonna wind up in a white padded room the rest of my life fast forward a year & 1/2 later & thanks to Leo & many more spiritual teachers I've had a kundalini awakening & now I'm still on The path towards enlightenment, moral of the story don't give up shit does get better.

@Baotrader I battle with pure O or OCD it's mental crazy thoughts & images about my loved ones or whoever, I know how to control it more now & pretty much laugh at my thoughts now, after all, you are not you're thoughts! You are the observer of the thoughts, doing enlightenment work & mediation has literally saved my life, listening to all of Leo's content has literally saved my life, I thought "I" was my thoughts ? Funny to look back at it now, but a year & a 1/2 ago I thought I belonged in a phsc ward. Let the thoughts be there & observers them. The more you try to push them away the more they push back! The ego can be a fucked up thing, that's why it needs to go. In a fucked up way "i" am glad that these crazy thoughts came running into my life like a freight train, because without them I would have never have found Enlightenment. (No im not Enlightened) but my kundalini is awakend & I am in the process of one day being enlightened?

@Joseph Maynor he did self inquiry but it hit him hard & fast, I guess that's all it takes, he didn't even know what it was at the time, then he was in a state of bliss for 5 months, no more inner chatter. From why I've read that is.

@SriBhagwanYogi I love the guy myself, but here's my question, by staying present all the time, will that bring you to Full blown enlightenment??? Cause other then that what is he teaching? In reality he did self inquiry to attain his enlightenment, he just didn't know what he was doing at the time, it was really dumb luck awakening ?‍♂️?
