  1. It's a shame Jordan Peterson isn't really open to trying psychedelics and views them as 'dangerous.' Although, I think hes just afraid of being open about it on here.
  2. Great insight, I just realized this applies to me as well.
  3. @lmfao Yeah I know, but still you would think that a guy who studies psychology for a living would take consciousness work seriously. But I guess not.
  4. Ever since I started meditating, I noticed this awakening of sexual energy. It comes in waves, some days more than others. It's a very strong feeling, like a new life-form of energy inside of me. Anyone else experiencing or has experienced this from starting meditation?
  5. @Misagh Interesting, you seem to be pretty educated on this topic. What does this kunalini shakti feel like once merged?
  6. Try pretending your the author, or the person he's writing about. This helps me understand their point of view of which they're coming from and the rest of the data falls into their perspective, thus making more sense.
  7. @SerotoninluvThat's super interesting I've been thinking about how micro-dosing could be very beneficial recently. Is it a coincidence that people there are micro-dosing in silicon valley because of Steve Jobs?
  8. How can we be so sure that what we experience when on a trip is ‘real’ how do we know it’s not just something Artificial (the drug making us think that this is the absolute truth/reality) ? All responses appreciated (:
  9. @Leo Gura yes but how does being on lsd or 5meo make it less hallucinatory? Because the ego is less prominent? Greater ability to see through it? Btw swim has done lsd plenty of times, mushrooms once
  10. @Serotoninluv ahhh, that is very very true.
  11. I started meditating since July 11th 2018 first month 20 minutes a day, second month 25 minutes a day, and about two weeks ago I started doing 25 minutes in the morning and 25 minutes before I go to bed. Then I bought Leo's book list and have recently finished reading Mastery by George Leonard. Now I'm working my way through the second book on the list which is Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz. Hoooolly shit, just these two books alone + Leo's recent video technique on sending consciousness to where your body tension is located then sending a signal to relax it has made a noticeable change in my behavior/thoughts. The most prominent theme I've noticed since all of this self-actualizing work is a CONSTANT battle of 'self's' going at it. I answer a question in class correctly and the higher self get's validated, I get it wrong then the lower self gets validated. Get rejected by a girl or accepted by a girl, same thing, two different self's battling it out. I can literally see/feel it happening. Now, I've finally learned to drop all of this completely, to stop identifying with the good OR the bad and the effects are just pure bliss. I literally don't care what people think of me and I'm much much more grounded in who I am. I can't imagine reading all of the books on the book list and being able to apply all of the techniques. LOL. It's like being a low level in a game, then when you get to a high level the capacity of your abilities are 'god-like.' This is only from a few months of working on self-actualization too! Wow..I'm mind-fucked right now
  12. @Brittany that is true, thanks (:
  13. socialization
  14. @Recursoinominado how is ayahuasca btw?
  15. @Recursoinominado yeah it really melts away the self, and the self is compiled with limiting non-sense. Thus, bliss and "higher self"
  16. I think LSD was designed for this purpose. Also, the goal is to be able to do it sober. Start working your way towards that.
  17. @Daydreamer ya
  18. Leo I am a psychology student working towards a PhD and your work is revolutionary for the current psychology department. I want to help somehow, and eventually implement my knowledge into the current model of psychology. How can I help? All of my free time is gone to reading, and watching Leo’s videos/taking notes. The rest of my time goes to college full time, 6 classes. I know this is a long shot and he probably will laugh this off, but yea why not.
  19. @Daydreamer
  20. @Elisabeth I never said that was my purpose. It's just one of the many things that I want to tackle in the psychology department.
  21. Value is subjective. Value doesn't exist. It's something we impose onto objective reality. Agreed, yes? Ok, so that means value is just a game we play with ourselves. Especially when it comes to women. We place higher value on a hotter woman, lower value on a fat ugly woman. This is bad. This causes me to act different, weird around higher value girls and actually care if they leave me. As to an ugly fat girl i couldn't care less. Has anyone gotten to the point where they truly don't see variance in value? Ex: Hot girl truly having the same value as an ugly girl. I mean, is this even possible?
  22. @Shin I agree, I just would like to help somehow or be affiliated with actualized.org in a more professional way, as i'm pretty dedicated to self-actualizing and I'd be willing to work for his 'company.'
