@kieranperez im not saying that every gangster is joyful or enlightened. If you take a look at the thugs life you will see that it involves a lot of termoil, it is not something everyone can handle. This thug-life is very similar with brahmachyria or (pathtodivine) in order to handle it you need strength, emotional inteligence and devotion to your gang. This is a type of lifestyle where you are going to face death everyday. You got to learn how to flirt with death. In my opinion this is the highest spiritual practice but not for everyone. Of course a random person will suffer it as he will suffer getting locked in a zen monestary. This spiritual work is not about ethics or looking good, its about beeing efficent.

@kieranperez ok your argument is solid about Tyson buy we still can't know for sure what is going on inside his mind. To realy prove that someone is enlightened we got to see how dettached they are in real life situations. If you take a look at people that by our society are considered thugs you are gonne find something interesting. These people are so detattched from theire ego that are willing to die joyfully. It takes a state of permanent samadhi in order to do that. How did they get there who knows maby theyre incarneted yogis. Please take a look for yourself these people are as detattched as you are from your GTA caracter.

@kieranperez Guys do not underestimate the rappers in the spirituality field. These are people who stay high all the time and do a bunch of psychadelics. Like this guys for example that have some grasping of true union. Look at the meaning behind the lyrics. They sing about true compassion and and becoming humble. Not everyone who is that fameous is humble enough to be devoted to the low life. In a sense they are doing what Jesus did.

Your if/then type of thinking in regards to psychedelics is fueled by fear towards the unknow. Fear is not a good state to do reserch from because your mind is gonne work against you. The second thing, if you come to conclusions without facts to back it up then this is a conspiracy theory.

@Etherial Cat @mandyjw Lana is a tricy one to understand. I found another artist who is definetly nondual. Machine Gun Kelly at his song alpha omega he comunicates the coming together of dualities alpha-omega, male-female, good and bad. Deffinetly enlightened and a true teacher.

My bad guys now that im actualy listenting to the song i see how she is just being needy. But the title holds a spiritual truth that we are not born for a concrete reason, it is just that she is a little bit deluted or misguided. You are on the right path as long as you are always seeking and observing. Do not get stuck whith conclusions and asumptions. Going deeper and deeper with this type of enquirie requires an unwavering focus and courage to destroy false beliefs. The mind is a very tricky tool to work with and honestly i dont have a very deep understanding of it compared to guys like Leo or people who are on the path of zen. They seem to have a sharper intelect. As about me i work more on my energies through yoga not that I've neglected my psychology but that just seems to be smoother for my growth.

You dont have to get enlightened to do this any spiritual practice will help you to detatch to a certain degree. You will slowly be aware of how you are investing in a particular way of thinking and it is not just happening to you, than it is natural to detatch. We invest a lot in our thought because they represent a part of our identity and we always want to protect it. This is a survival mechanism. A samadhi state is called a state where you simply have no thoughts, to do that you got to let go your whole identity and that takes a lot.

The more detached you are from your thoughts the higher your perception is.
