Well, these are things that you have to do to survive in order to fill out that purpose. Even scientists agree that reproduction is the meaning of life. -

I get that you guys are saying "life doesn't need to have a meaning". But It can't just exist for the sake of it. If it didn't have a reason to exist then why does it exist? -
It can help you with having more of an understanding of going through difficulties in life. It can also lead to massive rewards such as becoming rich or having long-term happiness.

School is like working in a factory so I can see why you are stressed out. I experience it myself whenever I go to school. Changing the way you view school helps. Think of why you're doing homework. It's so that you're setting yourself up to get a nice job. And if you don't get a high GPA then you're probably screwed for life. As sad as it sounds it's half true. Some people get rich by doing something imaginative. A lot don't. Others get a high GPA and work a job for the rest of their life.

Keep in mind that you have to give yourself enough time to understand something. You don't learn a language over night. You give yourself time to understand. My tip to you is manage the amount of time that you intend on learning in a certain school subject. For example: "after dinner I will practice french class for an hour".

It doesn't really have much caffeine in it at all. Not to mention that the antioxidants and other stuff it contains is certainly healthy. Coffee is unhealthy in general but people use the excuse of "it makes you more awake" to drink it. Even though that's pure nonsense imo. -
Don't see it as something stressful or negative. Have fun. It's very important to be honest when you are talking to girls. Being a liar destroys friendships and builds a bad habit. So just be honest with her about how you feel and what she means to you. I personally hate texting. It's annoying since there is no body language involved. Reading words on a screen isn't enough for humans to interact and have potent affect on each others.

Don't feel bad. The spooky Halloween spirits are cursing us. -

Perhaps emptiness isn't as bad as I have been thinking for a while now. Emptiness and freedom could now be one in the same. I have a couple hundred hours done in meditation but I haven't meditated at all the last month. I switched to a 37 minutes yoga video called "Seane Corn Detox Flow Yoga | Yoga | Gaiam" on youtube. I will probably create my own version of meditation sometime today so that the gains I get from it apply specifically to me. -

I'm sure he said that since humans are very predictable. You can even predict what you are going to do today. -

But how can you be sure that non-duality is true? It could easily be the case that you are just an individual creation of a certain part of reality. Which is probably why you're only experiencing life as one person in a body. But how does that mean that you are "everything". What about all of the negative aspects of life, am I them as well? Could non-duality just be a coping mechanism just like the belief of god? -

I don't have a clue. Perhaps it will come to me one day or I will actively try to find out. -

I see myself as a biological machine that got created since two humans mated. If you create a robot in a lab to believe that it's alive then it will believe that. I feel that when you make a human then things run their course and you develop hard-wired beliefs such as: wanting to survive, believing that you have free will (which you don't), having a desire to understand, etc. And these beliefs happen at birth as survival mechanisms of the human machine. I see humans as robotic since they are very predictable and every human has a very similar personality. It's just like creating a game with algorithms of code. That's what a human is through my eyes. -

So it's basically like "since we're going to die anyways we should except that"? I view reality as a mechanism that creates and destroys. Everything that you can think of is a creation that will be destroyed. Not sure if this means that we are forever doomed in the universe or forever lucky. -
If you don't know what nihilism is already then I suggest that you don't read this and you stay away from nihilism. I'm not kidding or writing this to be clever, it's very dangerous. For a while now I have had a pretty positive outlook on my life. I have been meditating almost daily, watching Leo's vids, focusing on school, had a strong life purpose, etc. But I stumbled across a guy who was high on nihilism. I won't say his username since I don't want to be like that but I feel his points about life being meaningless seemed depressing. That no matter what I do, nothing matters in the end. I am at a point where I feel like living is dumb since your mind just comes up with random reasons of why you should exist when there is no point. I mean, scientists agree that reproduction is the objective purpose of life but the sun will destroy the earth one day. So all of history will be completely gone. I'm basically posting this to hear what other people think about this subject. Maybe I'm missing something valuable.

I love how you say 'you're not the ideas you believe you are, and you have the power to choose'. That is extremely powerful. -

I understand completely what you're saying. And now that I think about it... when I first started believing in Nihilism it was mainly emotional rather than logical. It's more like I want to believe in it rather than it being the truth. Lol yeah. For a month now I have been clinging to my idea of Nihilism and I felt nothing but a very painful emotion. Around the chest area and a bit around the head. I guess that it is silly to be depressed just because life has no meaning. It should be freeing instead to live how you would like. Thanks, man. The good luck already found me -

I'm really liking how you're opening up the door for me to do more contemplative work. I will definitely do Leo's homework assignment (which I know what vid it's from but I didn't do). It makes me glad to hear from someone who thought the same way but started thinking even deeper. -

Thanks for your response man. I'll try that tomorrow when the day is fresh. This whole nihilism thing needs to be debunked. -

I know that you're not trying to say that the Earth is flat from your comments but it's funny how people once believed it was flat since this is how it would look like if it was: If looks hilarious -

I credit Giordano Bruno for what I'm about to say. Take an arrow. Shoot it into space. Only 2 outcomes can happen. Either the arrow hits something or it goes on forever. Let's say it hits a star. Now stand on that star and shoot another arrow. Each time the arrow hits something, stand on whatever it hit and keep shooting another arrow. Would the universe expand with the arrow or would the arrow leave the universe?
