Gives this illusion of progression fosho. Kinda like routined meditation. Soothes the psyche which means pleasure, which also means more fear. Which means more division. -

A good friend showed me this. At first I was upset that he showed me because I had put so much time into it. But then once I saw what I had been doing i couldn’t go back to it. -

Fosho dude. So we will self inquire without knowing the limit of that activity. Then we will feed the self more and more. Motive which is thought also corrupts the inquiry. -

Samadhi or freedom is not something cultivated. If we are free from that conflict we are able to function better in life. Some people may not be interested in cultivating a skill some will. -

Fosho a skill can be cultivated, but psychological/emotional freedom cannot be. Cultivation, progression, growth in the direction of psychological freedom makes for psychological enslavement dude. That is why we are not free in the first place. -

No more desire “me” causing confusion or conflict or fear or psychological time. -

Freedom means there is total energy without conflict or “me”. Then a skill can be cultivated if we wan to do that. Thinking is also free. As in not corrupt by “me”. I’m just saying development psychologically/emotionally is seen as contradiction. No more psychological growth limiting living -

@SoonHei If you are free you will get it. Only people who are not free want to get involved in development. After freedom we can develop what ever skill we want to. When we are not free fear gets in the way of everyday activity. So freedom means we see through the jive of psychological progression. -

People jump into self inquiry without understanding what is used to self inquire which is thought. If I don’t understand my own limit in inquiring the inquiry becomes corrupt. This messed me up and became a big waste of them for me dudes. Like an 8year waste -
Understanding habits/pleasure. No habits are wise?

The opposite of attachment is still attachment. What your thinking of doesn't have an opposite. Crazy man. I just noticed this on the water today.

You can tell when people are not free. What they say, how they act, what they advocate, play authority games -

Fosho..Spiral development or psychological growth keeps the fear alive. It’s alwys moving away from what is and that means problems. It’s fine to take care of yourself and others if you want to. But growth as in psychologically=fear. If somebody wants to perfect a craft it’s all good and they will not be limited by fear. But they don’t psychologically depend on it, that means fear motivates. -

Thats why it helps to not learn about what other people say about the unknowable. It becomes a sneaky assumption. Assumption that thinks it is not an assumption. An assumption that thinks it is not invented by thought. Fear will do this. Fear looks for answers and distorts its own thinking. -

@LiakosNThought is knowing. As in of the past or old. -
Jack River replied to LiakosN's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What can be known. ?. Going beyond that cannot be explained. -
Jack River replied to LiakosN's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I got ya dude. Since you are asking this question I would say mind it that of thought. That can be known. But unknown will remain jnknown. Beyond thought or knowing isn’t knowing. Just saw this recently. -
Jack River replied to LiakosN's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I feel ya. We have to be careful dude. Because any knowledge we pick up through thought is always going to be confined to thought. So if we hear from someone that mind is beyond thought and we believe it, that is still a belief or the invention of thought. I know what you mean. I use to be confused about that. If you understand mind solo, or on your own, it is clear. -
Jack River replied to LiakosN's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
If you are confused about this then asking others will only make it more confusing. You are then looking to thought to find the answer to what may be way beyond thought. We can talk with each other about things, but the rest is up to you dude. Beyond things is all on you brah.
