Jack River replied to Psyche_92's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Psychological striving is all the same. An “enlightenment” fix is the same as any other fix. -

This is what really helped me. Start with seeing fear in my daily life. -

It can be based on knowledge fosho. Thought will cling to itself for sure. But that is reaction. A good way to see if this is happening is to be able to see if we are moving within and from a place of fear. As in am I searching psychologically. -

Simply it is not acting/doing by the doer. No motive/psychological becoming of any kind. A lot of people say they practice do-nothing. That doesn’t make sense though. The Doing will be disguised. -

No this awareness means no reaction. No movement of fear distorting what is. -

@DrewNows @B_Naz fosho dudes. Basically comes down to reaction/response. As in are we reacting with psychological knowledge/thought/time. I used that word detachment before. Awareness doesn’t attatch or detach. Both seem to be reaction based. -

A Path is a doing. A way as in a method/practice is a doing. Even anything of psychological becoming is a doing. Any direction of thought is a doing. The insight into this is huge. ? -

@Aakash Vijayan what are “doings”? Figure that out first then you come to the other. -

Or is doing nothing watching without self movement? Detachment seems to be a doing as in reaction. -

@moon777light when you get how thought works which is to get how you work all that becomes simple. You don’t get caught up in all the contradicting traps anymore and you don’t depend on anyone to explain. All the contents of thought. I started by understanding fear/pleasure and then went to other contents. People that discuss that are the most helpful. Talking about actuality’s that take place in our daily thinking. You will see instantly all the limitations that thought invented to solve its own created issues. ? -

Measuring psychologically means “I”, as in the past am afraid of what is now. In reaction to a fact by resisting it. Thought resist what is. Thought needs to indentify with some sort of measure. Thought is measure. -
Jack River replied to MM1988's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
When I measure psychologically I think I am different from that process of thought. And I try and secure “myself” by identifying with thought. Pretty gnarly dude -

Thinking is a movement of time. -
Jack River replied to MM1988's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It’s an actuality. If we are measuring or comparing psychologically that is happening. That movement is a process of thought happening. That movement of “me” might be illusory but it is still taking place. -

See what I’m saying dude? -
Jack River replied to MM1988's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
These are all the same. The first two are a expression that comes from the movement of the third. -

High self esteem and low self esteem=Fear High consciousness and low consciousness=Fear Psychological Measure=fear -
Jack River replied to MM1988's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Fosho. Self esteem means a measure of self worth. Means we are still stuck in identifying with a self idea. Means we are still clinging to thought to find a certain value to self soothe. Secure ego. To me your response was sane @Flammable
