“I” don't pursue enlightenment/truth. Order in living is what I am all about brah. “You” don’t find truth. The person does not “become” enlightened. And what this “enlightenment” points too is not a thing fixed. It involves an activity of awareness that doesn’t resist the inevitable change of a series of the continuous NOW’s. That means no doing, no psychological momentum of will/time/effort which is really the voice/self. Truth comes when the self is not. And truth is also not fixed. And there is no path to it. You don’t do anything to attain it. Namean dude But wait, you already knew that -

finding the root of any thought?.. Would it be fair to say we are getting closer to this in saying fear/resistance=psychological reaction, which initiates the response of thought? -

From what I see Beingness is still within a state of experience. So there is still registration/projection. There seems to be an awareness that observes this mechanism at work but doesn’t act on it, as In reaction/response of thought..So this is seen as a function that acts within experience itself. Distinctions still made nevertheless but are seen through. Not a bad field of reality to reside in dudes. What happens when there is no beingness/no experiencer at all? Is there an experience? Is there any registration/projection at all. Is this ground of BEING or is it actually NONBEING? This is where it gets real groovy dudes -

Step out of the sprectrum dude. In that total/compete action consciousness will tend to follow in that direction. The direction of no direction lol. Be the catalyst brah. -

To Transend the field of opposites dudes...that is stepping out of the stream of conditioned mind. Culture/tradition/thought implicitly sustains this conditioning. The self gets conditioned by culture and that self continues to feed that conditioning by clinging/accepting/conforming to its conditioning. A loop of self sustained conditioning that means any real substantial change becomes impossible. A shame fosho. -

Lol cooperation easily can be self centered movement. giving also can be motivated my self seeking gratification/validation therefore not actually giving but still accumulating. The motive is determined by conditioning. self is very tricky and will disguise its activity as other than what it is. -
Jack River replied to Mondsee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yep. Conditioning runs deep for self/society to cling to its tradition/cultural values. Continual resistance to change. Therefore disorder dudes. -

Actually people do believe in happiness. They, as in thought, seems to try and and control itself to bring about a state of happiness. This action and belief are really the same. This insight is huge dude. Part of the underlying insight that comprehends the whole of thought. -

Fosho. Buddhism or not that is part of self and it’s tendency to adhere to thought(its contents or the familiar). Both Choice/reaction. Doesn’t take learning Buddhism language to see that though. Thsk choice/reaction/measure/progressive/gradual process, why not just step out of that stream dude? -

It just seems to promote “self” improvement/psychological growth. Seems like it might keep people bound in psychological time. As if freedom is a gradual process/progresssion. That’s all dude. It may not be what it’s about, but people will definitely fall in that pattern of thought conforming to its structure. Then falsely labeling others according to this concept. After all we can never know another, hell, we can’t even know ourselves . self is quite dynamic. Not an attack on your scheme, just it’s good if a few people are able to totally step out of the stream of the conditioned consciousness/progressive path. -

This attachment to resist what is...learn how that hold you hostage brah. -

Or is there any entity to accept or not? See the falseness of this entity dude. Actually see the falseness of it. When you actually SEE, there will be no compulsion to accept or not to accept. There will no longer be any movement in either direction psychologically. Has nothing to do with practice. Practice/habit is a mind/thought pattern which means you are still within that conditioned field of self. You might then see that practice/cultivation from a place of “me” is simply keeping that division alive dude. Life is to short brah. End it now, why put it off in time. It can be said that to cultivate a freedom from self is still a form of resistance. Freedom acts now. It’s not a thing achieved in time. Keep exploring the depths of self/thought brah? -

Maybe she will totally step out of this color scheme progression instead. Then she may be unbound by any particular classification and enslavment of mind with its measure -

But when those thoughts stop occurring. Wow. The me thoughts/voice/psychological judgement & evaluation. What when awareness has silenced all psychological movement/thought? As in Mental commentary. When there is no mental chatter anymore, then what is left?.. Is it awareness or actually a type of unawareness? mind blowing, most excellent. -
Jack River replied to non_nothing's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It being one process or movement. Fosho. -

Careful not to disidentify with the voice as well. Thought will attribute to itself as being an independent reality that stands outside thought itself. It may also identify with an idea that has been picked up along the way. The self/voice is structured to self-sustain this “independent existense”. It does so by thinking to itself I am the voice and also by saying I am not the voice. In order to not get caught here understand its subtle movement patterns and how they all connect and can be identified as one unit of psychological motion. This was most excellent for me.? -

This energy your talking about only comes about when all conflict/self comes to an end. And to practice to attain no conflict/self feeds the contradicting action of self that wastes energy on that contradiction. Has nothing to do with an experience dudes. Goes way beyond experience. -
