This seems coherent. But then again this “recognition” is really a non-recognizing. Otherwise thought has come in and moved in one direction or another. But this seems so. -

I’m not sure this can be done, but I’m willing to go into it dude. I understand dude. To me I don’t personally see that thought can end thought. Oh, well for sure. That’s the thing, that silence, I question if this silence can be cultivated. -

Right. I think it’s important to atleast be aware of thoughts nature and how it relates to psychological becoming. After all that’s where the illusion seems to arise. The psychological momentum of divison as the “me” seems activate the content thought and project that forward as an experience. -

Fosho. But thought will imitate nothingness as explained with knowledge. So when we learn about nothingness as an idea/abstraction thought inherently tends to conform too and project that content in place of “now”. That’s not quite my point my man. Awareness sees the whole of this movement towards abstraction and doesn’t continue in that direction. By not going in that direction of positive or negative action that movement/process disolves which brings about that silence then nothingness. To me nothingness seems to be more of a stoppage of thought/time and its registration/recollection/projection. So what I mean is by offering such knowledge about what may be beyond thought, when a person is not aware of how thought opperates thought will tend to accumulate and project all that knowledge as an experience. -

Nothingness is as a result of no registration/recollection and therefore projection of self/thought. If we accumulate content about “nothingness” as an abstraction that seems to get transferred over as an experience as the experiencer. So what I mean is, doesn’t True nothingness come as a result of a mind that doesn’t react/respond with its conditioned movement/process? -

I dont think you are understanding me quite. -

This is why I think it’s important to understand how intention/will/desire or psychological time causes the a lot problems like illusion. The self seeks truth but the self wants to tag along for the ride. The self seeks security first and foremost and that sustains it. So truth gets puts unconsciously in second place. -

All these questions though are seen realized when that silence/nothingness becomes actual. In regards to what I said about experiencing without knowledge/experience. A continuous dying. By answering these questions for people could we be imposing knowledge onto others and thereby they will project this information as an experience. Isn’t that an imitation of nothingness/or the unawareness I was speaking about ? -

The word is never the thing described. Have to make it clear though what is being talked about. -

This is the problem with interpreting what has been recycled through time by thought. We can never fully be sure of what was meant/being communicated. Thought and its inherent tendency to cling and conform to its own bias will manipulate a communication to the point to where it is no longer original. Thought always looks for security which alters a message. -

We find that actions we take are more coherent and whole with this understanding. -

Yet there tends to be a reaction of the doer that acts in regards to that limited or incomplete sense of action/thought. Thats how/why thought moves so incoherently. It’s action that arises from a place of divison which implies time. Pretty gnarly dude. -

I most cases we seem to want to conform to a means to achieve an end. This is the pursuit of the illusory self. This is how the intellect as the “me” operates. To conform, to imitate, to conform to a discipline in order to attain the end. When we understand very deeply mind and it’s tendencies we see that learning for the sake of learning, as in not concerned with the end, or not letting our own premeditated motives carry the investigation/enquiry means the self/thought is not moving in its conditioned reactionary ways.To see the importance of not moving within the field of time/self. That is freedom. That is Love and true discipline. Discipline that implies no conformity/fear/psychological becoming. I’m most cases we start such techniques of self enquiry or meditation techniques without first understanding the entity/thought that starts the investigation/enquiry. This tends to lead to self deception/illusion. I did this for a few years. Without first understanding what is not freedom/and discipline that is not a movement of thought. I seemed to fool myself and get caught in the loop of division. Only this divison assumed it was not divided. Very sad that I got caught in that for so long. I feel awareness of psychological becoming which is fueled by not understanding the whole nature of thought/self, clears the way for a choiceless awareness that is aware of all thought movement and its process. This awareness seems to stop that reactionary thought/emotion cycle itself. Then there is freedom/dicipline(leaning) and that makes for a foundation to explore beyond the known. -

Only though cultivates a state “without” thought as well. To cultivate implies thought itself. I totally understand what you mean, but what I have learned is if someone thinks they need there questions answered, technique options, and such then they have not yet understood the entirety of the problem itself. When one is this position they don’t have the insight to see what you are saying. To conform to what you are suggesting would be very similar to what is happening here. The self does depend on knowledge, it’s experiences, practices, to try and ‘become’ liberated, enlightened, or find truth. It takes a huge insight to see how that fuels self. Maybe 99% of people will have to just find it for themselves. It’s very tricky to stop moving in the pattern of self/mind. Every step mind takes is to keep that continuity moving. -

Actual humility is very powerful dudes. And the kicker is it’s not a thing cultivated. -

Stop reading about nonduality. Come to a place of no experience/no time. The knowledge we accumulate very easily gets projected as an experience. The best thing I ever did was “ignore” information about what is beyond the known. -

A coherence to incoherence so to speak. -

Awareness puts order in thought. Awareness is aware of conclusive assumptions and reactions that arise from them. The intellect is an extension of intelligence. Awareness puts order in the intellect so it can run straight. -

The “me” as in memory..to constantly observe with awareness, as in no reactional response of psychological becoming(thought). From moment to moment dying to all of that. -

To me it’s more than a knowing/seeing that I don’t exsist. But an actual experiencing free of accumulated experience/knowledge. This is what I have been putting all my time into. Awareness that brings about continual death of the me/content. Words I can use to explain this is closer to nonbeing or unawareness. As in a movement of stillness that actually implies no recollection/recognition. -
Jack River replied to winterknight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That’s a good question. That’s why I think exploring thought/self is important prior to exploring beyond the known. -

So it may be worth communicating it differently in saying that when there is no experience/knowledge in movement as time/self. So in the constant process of death that I mentioned earlier there is actually a ending of knowing/experience/ “me”?
