  1. Thanks for the reply dude? Is the psychological pursuit (self movement) touched upon prior to this enquiry? As in to get to this point of seeing clearly without judgment or without a reward determining the direction of the enquiry/investigation/exploration?
  2. I see. Does this negation arise from a reaction? Is it a negation from seeing the truth in the false? Or is the negation an movement of desire? What brings about this negation? Because the self will gladly negate what is not favorable in order to attain what is. Pretty interesting this self enquiry method.
  3. I think for the most part we as a people already dissasociste from our thoughts. We jump to I am not my thoughts without seeing that we are our thoughts, as in self/ego(the past/thought). I’m not saying we ultimately are, but just saying that the self ‘assumes’ it is distinct from its thoughts. By doing that we are placing ‘ourselves’ outside of the field of responsibility. It seems we both identify and disidentify with our thoughts/emotions. It’s like a selective identification/dis-identifying process that takes place. Seems ultimately due to not understanding how we work internally. Is it clear what I mean?
  4. So we are negating the answers that arise in experience? By what grounds do we negate?
  5. @Anna1 how does that go again? Neti Neti ? What kind of questions do you ask?
  6. I heard he just stoped reacting to fear as if he was something different from fear itself. As in stop resisting suffering. To stop resisting suffering is to actually stop moving positively or negatively. No psychological dependence of time/thought/experience..To totlay surrender to the thought/emotional reaction response that takes place between “the experiencer” and “its experience”. No psychological pursuit/striving/effort to become or not become.
  7. Yeah the search for experiences means a occupied mind. Mind looking to the next moment to bring about a satisfactory experience is a mind fixated on pleasure which also tags along this thing called fear. A mind burdened by fear is a mind that is attached and will as a result project its next experience by indentifying with its own content(thought). One question that really helped me was what is an experience? Is there an experience without the experiencer(self knowledge/past experience)?
  8. In self enquiry can we say that it is “the past” that is asking the question of who am I? Therefore that is why there is a constant process of identification with the perceived ,conceived, or experienced? @Anna1
  9. The self that is identified as a certain race is the culture it is conditioned by. This culture and its conditioned traditional values are seen as all important or priority over other races/selfs/subcultures. The self being identified with its subculture/race will place itself/subculture as more important than anohter. This is a defensive mechanism of self. The self clings to what is familiar( the group/race/nationality and such). Fear/seeking psychological security makes for resistance, antagonism, violence. This violence expresses itself in many ways than just physically.
  10. I would say that is getting much closer to the root for sure yes.
  11. If anything having consciously aware people contribute as such is a plus.
  12. I’m not dudes. A most excellent thing to do fosho.
  13. Taking responsibility for what is happening is foolish?
  14. Help with your own subtle violence dudes. Start closer to home before going across the world trying to save “others”.
  15. Take responsibility as if it was all you, because it was
  16. Yep that was me. All of it is and was me
  17. Dude you are taking stuff I say way out of context. Your not understanding what I’m saying. It’s simple dude. Nobody is saying all the shit in the world doesn’t exist. I know, I created it. Not society.
