It’s cool to die these days. It makes for a great story. What’s the fun in dying if there’s nobody left to tell the story. -

Knowing/Experiencing one indivisible whole (?) -
Jack River replied to Highest's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Many use the word GOD as just pointing to the not so obvious yet very obvious indivisible unchanging & changing whole (KNOWING/EXPERIENCING). God as in reality. -

What!!! Haha that never had an effect on me, it made things worse. I think it just strengthened psychological continuity. -

Fosho From a fragmented viewpoint that fragment cannot see past it’s finite’ness. This seems similar to holistic insight. A unlimited seeing into even more subtle apparent distinctions made, like for example identification & attachment, as there appears to be a fundamental difference between the two, yet are an expression of subject/object modulated activity. Insight puts order in these seemingly differnt/distinct aspects-parts of thought and sees the actuality as one indivisible whole(resistance to what-is). In actuality you cannot separate the insight from the action/realization. For me the insight was/is the realization(as in an undivided experiencing). Action from this place of truth is total/unlimited by the fragmented separate self. If there is not embodiment/action at the moment of insight then that is just a sign of subtle resistance or limited insight. Sometimes we subtly miss certain aspects of insight, therefore that insight is not as total as we originally thought. From the perspective of a subject overly fascinated with objects of experience, which implies resistance(attachment/identification) there may be very subtle tactics employed to sustain this psychological continuity of time as an separate self. The degree this takes place depends on holistic insight/choiceless observation/awareness as I AM. -

‘Understanding’ arises between movement Understanding in essence arsies “from”, or better yet as THE SUBSTANCE (?). -
Jack River replied to winterknight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It depends on how it’s all approached. Some need to integrate or practice and such, and some don’t. To me INSIGHT into I AM was action itself or total. No integration that followed truth. There is an integration in regards to expressing the essence of BEING in daily life of course. Or in communication, creation, and so on. Not really a practice, but an expression of TRUTH. Your question cannot be answered by another my dude. YOU do YOU ? -

Out of source comes that insight/action. And whatever that happens to be will be an action born of intelligence(wholeness). There will be no question about what you should do. You can go at it from both angels. Try what winterknight suggests, which is self-knowledge, and you can also explore subject/object activity (also self-knowledge). I find that may bring about a way to step out of the stream of separating experience(duality). You shouldn’t have to go back to source, as if you ever left ? -

Just as KNOWING is of itself, so is your answer to this question. It’s all clear in or as truth. -

Many seem to have a problem discerning the I am’ness from subject/object activity. They seem to have to continuously reset back to source as if source wasn’t the underlying substance. Seems to have something to do with the mind and it’s mechanical tendency to divide “its” experience. To separate AWARENESS from what that awareness is aware of. As in divided the knowing of something. Where as the reality is of itself (‘KNOWING’) -

Subject/object activity will express itself in the form of being dissatisfied with the silence and wanting more(psychological time). -

how to react to people who shout at us? We can use such experiences to explore our reactions to the other persons words/physical reaction. Observe yourself in relationship in that experience. Observe how we interpret the experience in regards to our own self image. How we react to our resistance in relationship to that interaction. How the thought brings upon the emotion, feeling, and bodily sensations in association to that interaction and so on. -

In this case.. Insight = innaction which is holistic action. Without insight we respond according to our memory (accumulated subject/objects experiences). In this case reaction is never spontaneous. Reaction has it s root in thought(subject/object) response, which is always tethered by the past(time). So inherently the response is limited to that of the old. Which means it’s a continuation of what has already been, therefore mechanical conditioned pattern triggered by external stimulus. It’s a response with its root in habit registration/recollection which is then projected on to the present as another subject/object experience—duality). In this case experience itself is the enemy. Thought can never anticipate the new and act spontaneously (holistically/intelligently) when being limited by that of the old(thought). Pretty important thread. Especially with all us assholes around here heh? -

Either way SELF KNOWLEDGE reveals the ever present unmanifest/manifest as one indivisible whole. We can first explore this subject/object split or we can explore what that manifests “in” or AS Fosho.. Definitely helps to be able to discern between consciousness and what it modulates as. -

Fosho! What does this ‘analogy’ arise “in” or as?
