  1. We have this that sum up our priority beyond family & wverything else: Say, "If your fathers, your children, your brothers, your spouses, your tribe, the wealth you have acquired, commerce whose stagnation you fear (a decline) , and dwellings you find pleasing are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger, and striving in His way, then wait till Allah brings His Command." And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people. 9:24 This is how it is for me.We choose God over everything else. But by following God, everything else will follow through. May or may not. (Because God's rules includes every other things.) We have this criterion.

  3. This is my actual Clear comment to @Nivsch Hence, "You can only compare yourself to yourself." In the relative sense, those who are better than you will think you're average. Those who are below you will think you're good. Regardless of where or what "you" are. It doesn't matter. (Insert any category, area, age, words, social structure, appearance or whatever, same rule applies) Is there any Absolute best? Yes. ... Everything in a nutshell? @Serotoninluv

  10. A book by Dr Muhammad Ali al-Hashimi. My religion is a bit full circle, this is the continuation ; Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope. 18:46 There are other verses which says that your child & wife may be against you in your spiritual path. Hence, a curse or a blessing. (The Qurān describes both ends of the spectrum. Everything in a nutshell.) ^ this applies to all generation, whether you're the parent or the child or the grandchild or the grandparent... Can I add some more? It's about the afterlife too. Not only the life of this world (eg.70yo & die)
  11. They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent. 5:17

When i'm interested in something, or wanna know something. Till I got it done with. Satisfied. (Never count how many books/materials i've read) probably all over the place. Different libraries, materials, timespan etc. /borrowing from someone. Reading someone's book randomly. (I don't think I read many tho. Do textbooks counts?) Over the last year, these are the three best authors that I read, several books of different languages. 1. Al-Ghazali (died 1111 Ad) 2. Said Nursi (1877-1960 Ad) 3. Qurān (eternity) (I like to go to the roots to know something as it is purer.) Why. 1. He got me into this. 2. We're synchronized. 3. It is everything in a nutshell. ?♣ ??? 23. [4:10] Truly those who consume the property of orphans unjustly only consume fire in their bellies, and they will burn in a blazing flame. [19:52] And we called him from the right side of Mount (Sinai), and made him draw near to Us, for mystic (converse).
