The Quran is memorized by heart from generations to generations. Apart from the written one. It's not a big book either. Only 114 chapters. It was embodied by heart. Islam is a pretty recent religion. 1441 years. Yesterday was our new year oh yeahh! Haha A pious man says if we wrote "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" ~ 113 times on new year , our years will be filled with Mercy? ... Are the condition of those two slaves the same? All praise be to Allah. But most of them do not know.. ... If there were many Gods (everything - the seen and unseen) , all these Gods will be in dispute, everyone with their own preferences and ideals. but the truth is, there is only One God who controls all. If you submit to Him, then everything else will be in accordance to His Will.

Says the one who haven't found God. What is your definition of God? My definition, is the One who controls and creates everything. When you deny God~ this is what happen. One says it's you, another says it's God higher than everything else. The implication of this is, One will be a slave to everything. Because you are everything. The other will be a slave to One God of all Creations. Slave x Master analogy : Would it be the same a slave who have many masters, serving all those picky masters. I think we're on a different reality. Don't mind me~ I don't get you. You don't get me. What made you think those verses are a threat? Only if you don't embody the Quran as a whole Route 1; That is a messed up way of interpreting those verses. It's easy to do good things. To make a sin is difficult. It will lead to all sorts of unnecessary sufferings. All the do's and don'ts have it's own beautiful wisdom that makes "the path" easier for those kids. Route 2 ; What made you think the kids who was exposed to merits/demerits cannot develop an open mind? Thinking for themselves etc? I think Islam in particular, guides you on a very foundational level only. And it leaves you open to have your own freedom, but within the basic foundational line. The rest is whatever. Whatever you wanna do, as long as it is not against the basic guideline. ^This actually saved me a lot. When no one is higher than you except God and His messengers. On the other hand, it's what keeps me grounded. Or else, i'd be wayy over the roof~ ? ... 2. The whole of Reality, exist in the whole of Quran. I can guarantee that. Quran is for everyone who are open to it. It is the closure which contains every wisdom of the past scriptures. It's true that the bible aren't 100% intact. The Quran came to address that. Some are still true. Some(verses) have been hidden or changed from it's place. Some has lost it's actual meaning. Some are still preserved the way it really is. From muslims perspective, there are 3 kinds of people (who are using past scripture). 1. Those who are not practicing.(coopting religion for devilry purposes) 2. The truthful one. (This people stay on the middle) 3. The pious one who submit to God and accept all prophets including Muhammad. The thing with following the Truth is, it will only benefit you. When you deny your Creator, you will be a slave to creations. @TrynaBeTurquoise what does the Christian church teache you? Is it you who don't understand? Or them who don't understand Jesus's teachings?

You forgot that they all have their own scripture and tablets/scrolls. It's both. Walking scripture~

To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. 4:171 Christ never resist to serve and worship Allah,nor do the angels, those nearest (to Allah). And those who refuse to worship Him and are arrogant, Allah will gather them all to Himself. 4:172 But those who believe and do righteous deeds, Allah will give their due rewards- and more, out of His bounty: but those who are disdainful and arrogant, He will punish with grievous penalty; nor will they find , besides Allah, any to protect or help them. 4:173 ... The bible translated Allah as "father" Jesus as "son" Rūh Al-Quds as the Holy Spirit. Which leads to confusion. Subtle but the impact is huge. ... @kieranperez Literally? I'd say fasting. Minimal eating. Just for the sake of eating. When you eat little, you will have a clearer mind, clearer focus & attention. Usually towards the end of my fasting, I will have more energy instead of being depleted. Feel more like running than walking. I can do my works for hours without (mind's) distraction. ... A sage once said, when you eat minimally, it will kill your passion. You will need less sleep. Your mind will be clearer. Your body will be more active. Diseases & mind's distractions comes from too much eating. Or too little. But it's relative. For those who are used to it, they'll be fine with very little. That's how you purify your mind. You need to be completely sober. My guru says, you should do it for the sake of your Creator , (everything else is just a byproduct) that will benefit you. ... One more thing, you can't watch porn. That will kill your intellect. Your mind is precious. Your body is precious. And your soul. ... I fast depending on my mood. Whenever I feel like to. (The way muslims fast is from dawn to sunset). Don't starve yourself, eat only when you feel hungry. Minimally. Just for the sake of eating. But when food was offered to you, don't deny it. Only if it's not bad. When you first started, it will really purify your mind. Try to starve yourself for a day*. See what comes up. Then break your fast in moderation~ *EDIT: Actually not for a day.
