  1. @Peace and Love so the title of the book is Spiritual Enfoldment by White Eagle? Just want to make sure I get it right. By the way, thank you for this wonderful reference. I read the excerpts, and they ring true with my first hand experience on this path. If I need something done that the 'not I' can't do, I just ask the Universe, (the I), to do it for me. The Universe has never let me down, and I never will. ;). Namaste!
  2. Its amazing, this journey!! 20 years ago I would have denied everything anyone told me about spirituality. I had a friend by the name of Kari, who was into self inquiry and spirituality and I secretly thought she was full of shit. Now I know she was right on point. I don't know if I'm enlightened, and I'm pretty sure I have awoken. Despite this, no matter how polite I am, people still act like rude assholes. No problem I think, they're basically unhappy and are fearful. Afraid of life, afraid of others, afraid of death. They get pummeled by negative news designed to keep you in fear. One day I was on the bus stressing over the same old bullshit and then it just occurred to me that I was tired of worrying all the time. So I stopped. I've had enlightenment experiences, to be told later. I was reading the alien thread by Leo, and to be honest, was frustrated with it. However, today even though I was really frustrated with all "this crap", I spontaneously thanked the plow guy for keeping the sidewalks clear. It markedly made his day, even though that wasn't my end game. Today I feel clear and clarified and the most I've been in touch with "me", presence, being, spirit, god, consciousness, or whatever word you want to use. In short, I think that being relaxed, and even skeptical to a certain point brings you back full circle to ones True Self. Namaste to you all.
  3. @Nahm thank you. Has the site been down for awhile? I tried checking in earlier and was unable to.
  4. @FirstglimpseOMG@FirstglimpseOMG @FirstglimpseOMGsorry for the repeats. Non- attachment, gratitude and giving are all huge concepts. I had a room mate who once said that when someone gave him respect he would return it 100x. The giving comes back to you. Attachments and "ownership"...interesting concepts aren't they? I own this car, I own this property, I own this land....ah no you really don't own a damn thing do you? Its more like it owns you.
  5. @FirstglimpseOMG yeah that's awesome of you to say that. I used to be jealous of people and their possessions and feel this "lack" that was all illusion really. It would be great to have a brand new car and stop riding the bus but I don't feel any "less" or feel deprived really. I'm actually blessed with many things, and I not really bothered by any lack of....anything!
  6. @Mondsee actually, yes ... My ego did. Good point. Let's be realistic though...you need your ego to get around in the world and interact with others. Can you imagine the looks I'd get if I went to a meeting and introduced myself as I Am That I Am? Here come the men in white coats with the straightjacket!
  7. @Mondsee dont be TOO zen like Adyashanti. I had to throw his book across the room when he said that "you don't become enlightened, rather Enlightenment has become enlightened". Its the message that matters, not the writing style! Yes, we must use dualistic means to communicate the non dual message. Otherwise, we get all hung up over trivialities. Do we want great form or do we want the MESSAGE?
  8. @Mondsee not to sound cute or contrite, but it's all Divinity in action. You (the ego) which thinks its the body and mind, doesn't control ANYTHING. Go with the flow of life and live from Being. Just surrender.
  9. @Neo its what Vedanta calls the "flow" of life. What I'm realizing, and it sounds like you are as well, is that your human "will", doesn't amount to anything. The flow of life, which is the real "you" is in charge, not this diminutive ego which thinks it is. By letting go of any illusion of control lets Divine Will work freely. Think about it....how much control over this life do you REALLY have? Any actions your tiny ego has that really counts for anything is laughable. When you can be Present in Being its all good, Homie. The struggle Ends.
  10. @Dodoster yeah man, I feel great when I get rid of clutter. My bureau had all this crap on it, and then when I cleaned up all the crap, I could watch Netflix guilt free. Netflix!!! Yikes!!! Dont tell Leo!!!
  11. Hello again, all my blessed friends on this loving, difficult, and adventurous journey! Many things have helped me and I thought I would share some of them. Something I picked up to show you who you you really are is the pointing experiment. Point to something in the world, then point back to where your "face" is. Do you have a face? I doubt it, at least as far as personal experience goes. I've never seen mine, except in the mirror...but that's not my face! Merely a reflection. I know even now more than ever that I Am. I am Being. I am Consciousness. Its scary and awe inspiring at the same time when one realizes the sheer magnitude of this. The Key: don't trip out on this or get inflated. Its okay...you are this and always HAVE been. Ultimately you are Love in its highest expression. Keep in mind this: Stress is a sign that one is not aligned with the True Self. Everything will work out for you. Its Divine Perfection, the very thing you ARE. The difference between what the Ego wants and what happens is Divine Will in its perfection. Don't know what to do? Ask the Universe to do it for you. I ask everyday and miracles (I'm not kidding around boys and girls..this is REAL) happen. That's why I know that none of this is bullshit.
  12. @Martin123 no, Trump is at least stage purple.
  13. @Leo Gura so therefore as Being, there is no point to debate, because there is no Ego to hold a position TO debate.
  14. @Captain Flint @100rockets @Captain Flintwell people, science has a huge flaw; it ignores subjective experience. Go with your intuition, not limited science!
  15. @100rockets Hey bud. Salvia is kind of dangerous and you MUST have a sitter present. When I did Salvia 60x extract I lit the pipe with a mini torch lighter to heat up to high temp to get the substance in system. Ultimately, I had an out of body, and my spirit had to "fold",out of my body. In this state you forget about the corporeal. I heard a Lady (Lady Salvia is the feminine spirit of this drug) encouraging me to "go all the way",on my trip. Things were bright and fuzzy, but I was definitely not in my body. Its almost like this: we really are spirits having a human experience on this plane of existence. The spirit needs the body and brain for locomotion and to process information while here. Just my insight. Hearing the Lady is a common experience. I also remember her talking to someone else, almost like it was a running commentary on my trip. Very interesting. Not for recreational use like those idiots you see on you tube. Respect the drug and respect Lady Salvia. Do NOT use without a sitter!!.
  16. @Leo Gura are there any other psychedelics that are easier to access. Do I need to go to Mexico to acquire 5 meo? Salvia was interesting and is available at most head shops, but is dangerous without a sitter. Are there legitimate websites where one can purchase psychedelics or isomers with similar effects?
  17. @Dodoster Thats right. Moving forward and going back to what Leo was saying in his video on Naive Realism, when we go to work and lock the door behind us and walk away, is your house still there? Your mind says, "of course, stupid, its right behind you". But what's there? Possibly a void of nothingness. The only thing real is what's right in front of you in the present moment, from your personal experience. The house exists as a concept now, a thought. If you turn around to see if your house is still there...boom! There it is. But something comes out of nothing, so.....maybe I'm just taking for granted that objects exist when not in my direct experience.
  18. Most people, even if they ask you, will not understand your spiritual journey and will confuse it with religious dogma. I think most people who have any kind of jarring experience such as weird synchronicities, a bad divorce, a breakup, etc will be more likely to self inquire spontaneously, like I did. My self inquiry didn't start until I had a series of JOLTING synchronicity experiences, about one every day for three months cumulating in one that convinced me that there was something going on beyond my ordinary waking consciousness. What's behind the curtain? Something was trying to get my attention and break me out of my limited rational and scientific views of reality. After years of searching for "me", I learned it couldn't be found in body or brain. So elusive. After moving beyond explanations for self in the physical, I started reading spiritual books and watching you tube vids on similar topics. I've learned much and meditate daily. I'm being longwinded, but I guess my point is as follows: one has to become the seeker before they will even begin to understand or even open up to radical new concepts. Trying to explain this to a rationalist, religious person, scientist or atheist will get you nowhere. If one is identified with the body and mind the only breakthrough happens when they identify as being the witness of body and mind, (in Vedanta this is called Soul Consciousness, one step up from the ordinary waking state). Even higher states of consciousness can be realized. But no one understands really, unless they too are on the Path to self realization.
  19. @Leo Gura And the information is nuanced. One does have to read between the lines somewhat.
