You should understand your question, before you ask it. In case you meant "I don't get the answer.." : You never will from your current perspektive. You have to transcend your understanding of the mind. To see what the box is, in which you are in, you have to see it from the outside. See the mind as the commutation of all things that you experience, not as a thing itself. Take away all finite things from your experience and see what remains. What you'll find is empty knowing. -

Why do you think that a mind exists? Have you ever experienced it? -

Yes it is -

@Trayambakam The idea of time does exist as an illusion or story you tell yourself. But time doesn't exist, since it is never experienced -

@73809 I never said that infinity has a limit -
Bluff replied to Fkdel's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@73809 Agree. I agree with the first statement, but then consciousness would never find a limit within itself (second statement) So there is no maximum and no "beyond", right? So how could that be: In order to expand it must gather something (from somewhere outside of itself) that was not within it before -

Time is an idea, it doesn't exist. The mind thinks there is time because the content of it's experience is constantly changing. Yet the experience itself is always only prenent in the Now. And there are not many Nows, but always only the Now. Everything becomes logical and clear once it has been experienced. It's paradox but logical, when you leave behind the limitations of thoughts Keep asking -

@Trayambakam I don't see how it couldn't. Infinite means it doesn't lack of anything. Have you heard infinite consciousness being discribed as "being"? Being is a fixed state. It will help dropping the concept of time. Only the mind experiences the coming and going of things. The thing is, that the finite can only know the finite. And the infinite can only know itself. And as it sees itself as it is, it knows its complete (although it is nothing). since within its nature it holds the potential of being/creating every (finite) form -

Hello Fkdel Counsciousness doesn't want to expand, because it already is infinite and complete. There is no space outside of conciousness that it expand into. Counsciousness didn't create suffering for a reason. It is your mind that formulates a reason for suffering. On a deep level of understanding the mind realise, it's suffering comes from the disconnection (better the not-knowing) of its source -

@NoN-RaTiOnAL you are not the body and you never had control over it. When the body picks a pen, you are the witness of it, not the doer. There is no doer. When you seem to lose control over your body, you in fact realise that you never were in control over it. -

Labeling is good but you must be careful. It helps understanding your experiences. Give your experiences names, so you can investigate their truth an transcend the concepts you hold. For example: when you meditate, you might get stuck in a sensation that you might label a "resistance". Build an accurate label (name sensation and memory) to be able to explore its true nature in future meditations. But always be aware that the labels that you make are not the end of the story. Be open for a deeper understanding and keep in mind that your labels are concepts and not the absolut truth. You are investigating your current understanding, to transcend it. -

Suffering is meant to feel not good,so you feel that you must do something to get rid of it. Dont hate suffering, but love it. It shows you, that you have inner resistance that prevents you from being happy. Investigate, where the suffering is coming from and overcome your resistance by letting it come close to you. -

When you walk through the dessert and see an oasis far away, after walking towards that place where it seemed to be, and you find nothing but sand, you will notice that there was never an oasis to find. It's not right to speak of a death of ego, because there is no ego to die. The ego is an idea that turns out to be an illusion. There will still be thouhts, because they were never arising from the ego, since there never was an ego. After realising your true nature, there will be interaction but no seperat self that is interacting. You are the vantage that knows the interaction. You need to be that vantage, otherwise the interaction could not be known. -

All there is in deep sleep is pure consciousness. There are no objects or dreams, so there is nothing to remember of, after waking up. You might say that deep sleep ist the state in which you are fully awake. And when you wake up your dream begins. -

It actually does work. Every reality that you can imagine can exist. For God to be infinite, there must be a man being able to manifest objects. But also for God to be infinite, there must be a reality in which no man can do that. Find out which reality you experience -

It might be a trauma manifested in your body. Go into and surrender to it. Allow all sensations that appear. Don't fight any unpleasant sensation or thought. Accept your realizations. You'll get deeper and deeper into what it really is, until it dissappears into lightness and relieve -
Your true Self is the reason for all that exists But there is no person to take any responsibility of what is happening

There is no person that can be enlightened. God is always the same. But because it is infinite it can become infinite different forms. There is no path in infinity God has no will. If you want you can say that it wants to experience itself in all possible ways. And that's what It does -

Basically yes, it is the source of all seeming things. Things are created by conciousness and known by conciousness. So is your mind. Your mind has its own thoughts, emotions, perceptions and attachments. Karma is your mind judging itself. The deed is what it is. Wheather it is good or bad depends on your judgment. No, conciousness doesn't want that. It just observes. The decision is made by your mind. But how the decision is made, the mind will never understand. Not really. Humans are operating in Auto-mode, not knowing why they do what they do. It's only after finding your true nature, that you can see how you create your reality. No -
Lately I hear Leo say very often "there are many degrees of conciousness and one is deeper than the other" Every conscious being is conscious in the same way. Conciousness is the underlying substance by which all experience is known. Therefore the highest insight that you can have is 'I am conscious that I am concious; and Counsciousness is all there is' How could you go any deeper? From there on, it is only the mind that deepens and manifests that understanding and aligns to the truth. That might go on and 'improve' forever; deeper and deeper. There is an infinite amount of experiences that you can have. But you may not say that one is deeper than the other. What makes an experience seem deeper than anothers is the intensity and 'importance' your mind feels relativ to it. In the end all there is to an experience, is the knowing of the experience. Knowing is all there is
-
Bluff replied to Bluff's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Every thing is relative. Conciousness is not. In the pure field of conciousness there are no two things to relate in any way. The infinite can only know the infinite; the finite can only know the finite. Just to close this topic for now, tell me one thing.. When Counsciousness is councious of nothing but itself; what experience could it have that would be "deeper" than the experience of it self? You must have had that experience, so tell me
