  1. Then you're creating that as your Purpose Which is a great starting point, I'm not against that in any way. But there's more. It goes way deeper than that. Still, it's already far beyond the mundane purpose of, say, working to earn a lot of money or something like that.
  2. Exactly. But this is exactly what I'm talking about. You make those things your purpose then, if you want to or not. You can't not create purpose. The real question is if you're doing it consciously or not. And doing it consciously requires confronting the Great Meaninglessness and then transcending it.
  3. @saif2 Well, we're here to CREATE PURPOSE—that's Purpose with a capital P. We're in infancy still as a species. One huge challenge will be to confront purposelessness, emptiness and meaninglessness and then take responsibility to Create it ourselves, because that's what we're here for. We haven't accepted that quest yet as a civilization of Earth. Which means we're not really a Civilization yet.
  4. It's about psychology, which makes chess interesting in the first place.
  5. Because they're in pain.
  6. Dude this is just sad. And the humans are just laughing at what they don't understand because it would be too painful to admit what they're feeling.
  7. @Zeidiez The union between Solipsism & Cosmos lies in Time. Time allows God to experience separation while being ONE (because IT can't not be that). You'll realize that you have, indeed, lived all lifes. But right now, it seems that you're only living this one. Both are paradoxically true at the same time. But how can you interact with yourself if you aren't conscious of those perspectives? How can it be so utterly interactive? Doesn't that mean, that all others are merely imaginal (in the sense of not really conscious)? That's one of the great mysteries I claim: Others ARE conscious & God is always ALL-ONE. This is only a contradiction out of the human perspective inside the depths of Time. The Divine Design of all that is completely and utterly ingenious and surpasses human understanding by far. NO ONE understands how this works right now!
  8. That's kind of a general human tendency, it seems. I mean, who really likes to be truly challenged?
  9. Sure, but it's a rather crude form of entertainment.
  10. Evil is by definition relative. That being said, every possible evil can and does exist. EVIL is LIVE backwards. Coincidence?
  11. Wrong. What about Mahatma Gandhi, Steve Jobs or Michael from VSauce? Just to name a few... You can start your own enterprise. Why not?!
  12. I don't like to tell you this. But this world is a trap. The more you're addicted to it the more it will have got you. The only real option is, weird as it sounds, denouncing all pleasures except if something is really needed, stopping all addictions. Furthermore connect to your real body. The body in this world is only a pain-body and every pleasure just relieves the pain. If you wanna connect to your real body : feel the pain body fully. That way you're not completely in it anymore. We may be able to leave this place together, but it will be a long stony road. Everybody has to do the work by oneself.
  13. @meta_male The harder you try the more you'll push someone away. So, maybe try a more laid-back approach. When you feel good other people around you can feel it and can resonate with that.
  14. Psychedelics can't bring you enlightenment, that's for sure. Nothing that "happens" can.
  15. Siddhis are also a huge burden, you can't just use them like magic, that backfires enormously. When you get it without being ready for it I'd rather call that unlucky.
  16. @Dodo Let's take some personal responsibility by questioning our very own style of life. Do we really need to eat stuff with so much sugar in it, which is addictive? Can we reduce waste by buying products that use less of it? Can I use less ressources like water, food and energy? etc. I think it makes a real difference. There may come a time when this will be very relevant. I see it as preparation.
  17. I think you have more possibilities than you think.
  18. You can see it if you just open your eyes. We're on a path into more greed, addiction and overproduction while so many people still hunger. What have we created? Can't we just finally face it? At least we can steer into some other direction. Is this where we want to be and is this the road we want to continue going down? Where's our humanity?
  19. Mediocrity is only suffering if you wish it were otherwise. Usually mediocrity sets in when you have too much comfort and the pleasures that are available to you can't scratch that itch anymore. Have you tried living more minimalistic? Reducing pleasure to get more out of the small ones.
  20. Why is it that every thread escalates into site-long discussions who has the more accurate description of consciousness? Must be the nature of this place, huh? @Dodo No escape is one thing. I talk about unforeseen consequences. We're riding this place like an accelerating rollercoaster into..into what?
  21. i Know! But think about how disrespectful it is to other lifeforms on this planet when we just celebrate our greed and addictions. Eating plants is also a form of domination. It'd be wise to not use more ressources than we really need.
  22. We'll see but to be God-like also means to realize that everything has consequences. Even when it seems temporarily otherwise.
