  1. A chair is not an object, it is an experience. There is an infinitude of possible chair experiences. But they are again part of a greater subset of experiences of furniture. Newsflash: You didn't just make up chairs, you made up EVERYTHING.
  2. Psychedelics are neither good nor bad, they will be what you make of them. They can be abused just like everything else and it will have consequences. Those consequences can be pretty bad if used incorrectly, because they are very powerful tools. So don't forget to treat them with respect. And even then every trip has its prize, just like everything else has.
  3. As Leo said, it should go both hand in hand. Your Life Purpose is what motivates you to self-actualize beyond what you would living a life without direction.
  4. If you become 120 years old, 60 years would be your midlife. Just an interesting perspective.
  5. Because we're all at different points of development, and our collective development can be accelerated immensely when we work together instead of against each other. It's about creating together, and our culture, knowledge, emotional & mental development can always go further. In a way we just recently arrived at a point where it starts to get really interesting... That doesn't contradict Absolute Perfection. Our journey is our destination so to speak. There's always more to explore, more to create, more to know, more to master.
  6. That's generally true, but even then it can fluctuate. You have to re-align yourself with your purpose and redefine it again and again. Else it's even possible to fall back into depression. I'm speaking from experience. I have a pretty clear life purpose (creating a religious experience through live-performances of my music & storytelling), but I still keep falling and have to find out, where I've lost track. It depends on whether you're consistent by nature or not – I'm certainly not and that's my biggest hurdle.
  7. Wow is it really that bad in the US? Would be no issue here (Germany)
  8. Totally. They're at the same time much more powerful and require much more caution than is commonly realized. We need to stop demonizing/idolizing things all the time. Psychedelics are neither the devils work nor a magic cure for our predicament. They are simply chemical technology. How we use them and what consequences that's gonna have is completely up to us.
  9. Can be. They can also be pretty energetic, they're still a CNS stimulant, after all. Albeit not nearly as strongly as LSD is stimulating.
  10. Don't get it twisted. Money isn't worth anything without any value that you can buy with it. So the goal isn't to generate money, it's to generate massive amounts of value. That's one of the most glaring issues with capitalism at its current stage: Confusing money with value. It's possible to generate more and more money while the quality of products decreases. And that's exactly what can be observed right now. But I'm afraid it still has to get a lot worse before we can collectively see through it.
  11. Tread lightly. DXM is very powerful and can be addictive. If used too often it is harmful for sure. I'd say no more than once in 1-3 months. The effects also may linger for many days after, which can be positive but also negative. That being said, it's one of my favourite dissociatives. It also has a way more "warm" and dreamy feeling to it. I experience Ketamin as very cold and clinical in contrast.
  12. Don't you see the irony here? You even recognize that you'd be happier if you didn't believe in that ideology. And still you say that you have no other choice than believing in it. Is that really true? You have a choice. You are creating your own unhappiness.
  13. This is really worth watching. It's essentially about the huge impact and repercussions that survival has on science. And how you can't really avoid playing the game, either.
  14. ❤️
  15. You can work with any programming language if you're a professional, but everybody has their favourites. So congrats for finding yours.
  16. What do you mean by that? Isn't having a life purpose the best way to live? Or do you mean you shouldn't get too attached to it?
  17. I have no clue what you're talking about. Sounds like mental masturbation to me.
  18. You can still very much get lost in concepts, especially if you think that you're immune to that.
  19. Dude you're way too full of mind to get consciousness. You've got yourself lost in concepts. Drop all the concepts and then see. No concept can ever capture consciousness.
  20. @Javfly33 I heard that Kratom is pretty unique in its mechanism of action. I believe it also works a little bit like an SSRI, but that's not conclusively clarified.
