Projection is an amazing thing That's exactly what would happen to you if you'd stop clinging to your seemingly impenetrable logic. You're completely lost in logic.. But that's not TRUTH That's a complete assumption. I KNOW that my understanding is not final. But it's got certainly a lot of beauty in it already, and that's the benchmark for any worldview. "But what if everything isn't beautiful, but ugly in the end" I hear you say. To which I can only reply: WATCH and see for yourself Look especially at the ugliness! It's actually a great pointer. And then see what happens...

As has been said numerous times, if solipsism makes you depressed, you didn't grasp it completely. It's actually the most beautiful thing ever.

Me too, I love discussions like that That's the juiciness of this forum IMO. We're both right in a sense. But consider that there's a thing called pre/post fallacy, as I'm sure you already know. Recognition of the Absolute isn't the end, but I know that it seems that way from that point of view. That's actually the beauty of it. -

There's no difference between the so-called hallucination and absolute beingness. Absolute Beingness is achieved through Absolute Evolution, which is happening at this very moment. That's all there is. What you call absolute beingness is just a relative concept because it has an opposite. -

It's actually radical non-duality. And also radical duality, which is the absolutely fucking same thing. -

Now that I come to think of it, I would even go further and say evolution is the process by which the absolute creates itself. It is Absolute Becoming. -
vibv replied to thisintegrated's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Of course it's just a model, but a pretty useful one to describe evolution. Evolution is real. The absolute couldn't exist without it, or at least not experience itself, which is the whole point. To discredit it as "just a dream" or a hallucination is just a temporary notion that, too, will pass. And you will think "THANK GOD" when you find out. -

Wrong, that’s turquoise. In coral you realize that evolution, in fact, goes on. But evolution becomes something completely different. It’s not longer something physical or on the outside, it’s an evolution of the absolute itself (which is of course already completed.. that’s the paradox nature of the absolute). the absolute IS evolution -
By not choosing otherwise. Yes, it’s all deliberate choosing. How can you guarantee that you’ll always choose up? Well, that problem doesn’t exist. You just don’t trust yourself enough yet.

@zurew when I remember and interpret my experience I could sure be wrong. But it doesn’t really matter. Because I know that when I know I KNOW. Doubt is a device to prevent realizing GOD at all times. But there are moments where doubt is absolutely impossible - or are they maybe even created when doubt is dropped completely. You see this current experience is ingeniously crafted. There are so many things to deter you from the truth - namely doubt, insanity, death, etc. If you wanna see past that you have to be bold.. and just take the leap. But that requires tremendous courage. Because it is not at all guaranteed.. all your apprehensions may come true. But at some point you gotta do it anyway.
-
@zurew How can you prove that you exist (or something at least)? You don't have to because it's obvious. Now assume that there could be more things than your mere existence which you can become directly conscious of in the same way. It's like taking notice of something that's just obvious. You don't have to prove it because you just see.

vibv replied to justfortoday's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@justfortoday There are a lot of assumptions and projections going on here. This place is amazing to throw perspectives around, learning about other perspectives, practicing framing your perspective in a way that leads to less misunderstandings and learning about what kinds of misunderstandings there commonly are and what exactly their - and your own - blind spots are. If all you do is go on this forum to know-it-all and parrot bullshit and don't do the work it can of course be toxic to your growth. As with everything else, it's about quantity and quality of the usage of the tool. As I see it, this is a place with a very unique set of individuals with pretty advanced perspectives in contrast to the average person or even spiritual subreddits and so on. And that has tremendous value I think. We're all in this together. If you found fresh perspectives and new awakenings somewhere else that's absolutely great, but you and you're awakenings are not necessarily superior because of that. In the end disagreement is what advances our collective understanding of this amazing mystery that is this universe. The only thing that really stunts our progression to levels of consciousness that we couldn't even begin to dream of right now is thinking we did already reach our destination. Not only are we - and I mean every single one of us and humanity as a whole - not there yet. We're not even aware of some of the paradigms that will be utterly shattered. And that's all I know. -
You wouldn't believe it even if I could tell you If you think you have an idea what consciousness can do, you're completely deluded. That's sadly the state most "enlightened" people are in. They convinced themselves - after realizing that there's nothing but the absolute - that the rest is only fascinating little games to play.. if you may wish so. THATS COMPLETELY FALSE!! You have no idea how deep the rabbit hole goes. This is not just a detail, this IS the absolute, and if you think that doesn't matter then you didn't get the absolute AT ALL, really.

Yeah, isn't it beautiful? Being a human is a gift of unfathomable cosmic proportions. I absolutely love it that I am human and I wouldn't want to have it any other way - until I don't

vibv replied to BlessedLion's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yup. I'm aware of that. But the relative is not just random content. There's something far more deep and profound going on. My point stands: Realising that there is nothing but the absolute isn't the end. -
vibv replied to BlessedLion's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Consider that there's more to it than that. That it may be something like Spiral Dynamics, where you think you're in possession of the truth at each stage, but there's another stage above that integrates all stages before it and still brings something totally new to the table that hasn't been considered before. Until there's some stage at which you realise that it never ends. The realisation of the ever-present unchanging and always perfect absolute that can't be harmed and is never involved in any of the content is totally valid. But let it be proposed that that's not all there is to this whole thing. -
vibv replied to BlessedLion's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's really nice. I know that it's very comfortable there and I don't want to take it away. In fact it hasn't to and doesn't go away! A lot of people seem to settle there - which is totally OK! But in no way is that the end of the flagpole. That's just the point where it starts to get interesting. -

Thank you. Exactly what I needed right now. -
@Peo Yeah I read your other trip report later, that seemed like a lot more fitting dose with the tolerance from the day before. You have to find your own dose, my point is: No need to hurry. Trust your intuition and not what somebody tells you on the internet.

vibv replied to Gabith's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Haha true @Gabith You enjoy that negativity because it makes you feel that you're above everybody else. At least see through your own bullshit before you judge everyone else. You're being loved. That doesn't mean that anybody owes you anything. Those are two different things. -
Nah, that's a myth. Don't listen to stuff like "you need to take a heroic dose" or such bullshit. Everybody's different and needs their own pace. It is also very personal to your psyche and body what a high dose to you would be, nobody else can tell you that. You could even experiment with even lower doses to see how that feels. Taking too high of a dose can be more detrimental to your progress than taking a dose that's too low, because you run the risk of having a bad experience that may scare you away for a longer period of time. If the dose was too small it can simply be repeated a week later or so. Traumatic experiences happen when your mind is not able to remain sufficiently fluid during an intense trip because you bit off more than you can chew, get scared and tense up. Take it slow, there's absolutely no need to rush. You can have amazing experiences with low doses. In my personal experience a low dose can be much more enjoyable and easier to work with. High dose trips have their place, but don't attempt them if you don't know exactly what you're doing and are quite experienced already.
-
@Peo @Scholar Adding to what Scholar said, which is all very good and true advice, sometimes the most valuable trips are precisely confronting those fears. So there are actually 2 things to learn: 1. Maneuvering the direction of a trip without resisting it 2. Confronting your deepest darkest thoughts and fears - also known as Shadow Work I would agree to lower your dose next time and take it a lot more slowly. There's absolutely no need to hurry.

@Ajax Don't get hung up on concepts, that's just mental masturbation. You gotta see it for yourself. My answers should merely be pointers in the right direction. If you're looking for techniques, there are a lot of YouTube-Videos from Leo on different techniques to approach those metaphysical questions. But you gotta do the work.

I don't. But I would also say that it's impossible to be absolutely unfree. From an absolute perspective you're of course always completely free, and the human limitations are merely imagined.
