  1. @The Crocodile Well I think I‘ll rather just focus on my life purpose instead of trying to control the fate of the world.
  2. What do you achieve exactly? I'm genuinely interested.
  3. Do you achieve something by doing that or does it just feel nice or does it bring you into other states of consciousness?
  4. I don't know if I would want magic to be true. That would make this all a little too unstable I think. As soon as I'd realise that I'm omnipotent (the true form of magic if you will) this dream in this form would be over. I think its limitations enable its deepness and beauty. If magic would be real it had to be extremely limited to avoid that.
  5. That doesn't seem to be part of this reality to me — but I'm open for the possibility. Though I've yet to see any sign, that that would be true. Oh it does But magic is such a lazy storytelling technique
  6. @The Crocodile You want to win at chess by just breaking the rules.
  7. In my book demonizing means to make it out as the root of evil.
  8. I'm amazed by the way he communicated that in this brief way while being very concise and straight to the point without losing someone, who's not heard of spiral dynamics before.
  9. Exactly. Both (awakening and survival) have their place and together something beautiful gets created. With only survival life becomes dull and mechanic. With only awakening you become void of ambition and suffer in a different way. But with both at the same time you can begin to see the beauty in this human drama and play within it, knowing that you're playing (sometimes more, sometimes less, as it should be). Because survival (and therefore suffering and what's called 'evil') isn't merely an inconvenience, it's the greatest invention of God, allowing him to experience his own BECOMING. What an adventure it is indeed
  10. Porn tends to skew your perception towards the visual aspect of sexuality. You can explore your sexuality on your own without porn (by using your imagination), but that gets harder as you grow more accustomed to that easy dopamine spike porn gives you.
  11. I'm against demonizing things. There is good, sensual and beautiful porn as well as a lot of really bad porn.
  12. No you misunderstand me. Toasters don’t break the laws of this reality, they bend them in a way to benefit us. That’s exactly what I said we should do. Toasters are the real magic. What you propose is child’s play.
  13. All this is about defining what it means to be HUMAN. That's what this whole reality is about. Do we really want to milk and butcher all those animals just to feed our insatiable hunger for meat? Is that what it means to be human? This is the reason I became vegan. But I don't pass any judgement on people who eat meat, because what's the point? I myself eat meat from time to time nowadays and it's completely fine - I have nothing against it. It's the way it gets mass-produced without regard for the suffering of everything that isn't human is what I critique. What does it mean to be human? I think we're able to make the lives of every living being on this planet better. Animals could BENEFIT of our being here. We could make this earth a literal paradise if we just chose to do so. So what's stopping us?
  14. YOU created all of this and you could do that within a single moment. But you don't, because that would defeat the whole point. What do you want to create when you possess infinite power? Something that's as REAL as possible. What we take for granted, the mundaneness, the stability and so on, is actually the greatest achievement of this universe. But it doesn't stop there, because now it's about breaking out of that mundaneness WITHOUT breaking the laws that make this real. By becoming a law-bender. God is a tightrope dancer.
  15. No. Being cold and real is the most amazing feat of this reality. Just Magic is too easy.
  16. I do not have kids of my own and I don't plan to. My life purpose is kind of my child.
  17. Control? I'd call it Will. There's the Divine Will and it encompasses everything. The ego is very constrained and limited, but still - albeit a tiny fraction - of that Will. Is that Will free? Of course it is absolutely free - and thus always chooses absolute Good It doesn't need control, because there's nothing to control but itself. Control is only a concern of the fractioned, fearful ego.
  18. Newsflash: You actually love it. Else it wouldn't be the case. Even that is not completely in your control, because you need other people beyond your control to give you money.
  19. People play way different than bots on chess.com. I had the same thinking once. But as it turns out being good against bots doesn't make you necessarily good against people. Firstly, because it lacks the psychological component and secondly, because bots make way more obvious blunders (as long as they don't play so well you can't win anyway). I only play against people when I play nowadays and it's a completely different play style - even though I'm way too concerned about losing elo, which in itself makes it worthwile to practice playing human opponents.
  20. It can't. There's a lot of evolution necessary to even build a civilization - as we understand it - at all. That's what spiral dynamics is! A model of our collective development. Stage purple is not developed enough to have societal structures of that scale.
  21. Who's to say that a green sour apple on a tree is less evolved than a big red sweet one?
  22. But what are you able to give? And I mean this completely seriously. Take a good, hard, long look at yourself and find out what you can give. Do that and everything else will fall into place - also because it gives you a REASON to heal.
  23. As understandable as it is, killing another human being out of frustration isn’t excusable and shouldn’t be normalized. we truly still live in the dark ages
  24. Of course. Tolerance happens with any drug, it's just a matter of how fast its onset is and how quickly it fades again. I took LSD 3 days in a row on a festival and I had to double my dose each day to have the same effects. Mushrooms are very similar, but that's for macrodoses. Microdoses may be different.
