One word: Evolution. Not-Knowing is NOT Omniscience. It only opens up the possibility to advance. Evolution is not finished by recognizing your true nature.

That's how I see it. We didn't even get near the final boss. We're not even close to that level. We're just in some early stages, barely finished the tutorial, and some people are trying to convince themselves that that's all there is to it. Oh boy, are you in for a surprise. But please, don't think that it's about fighting a literal enemy. The enemy is ignorance and everything that goes against Life=Evolution.

@KatiesKarma Why not establish a direct connection to God? Why do you have to do it indirectly through a book written by humans? Is God not powerful enough to do so? I know from direct experience that it is possible. No need to have Jesus as a middle-man.

My understanding of Reality is not final and always expanding. Never claimed otherwise. Of course nobody knows, that's why we're having this discussion. Not even the so-called enlightened ones. You can recognize your true nature but that doesn't give you omniscience. And if it did you return anyway and are a limited human again. This experience here is what God very explicitly chooses to have, it's no accident. This experience is way more important than staying where nothing ever happens. I'm not saying that I understand everything, I'm just saying that enlightenment is something to be transcended, so that we can finally advance Evolution on this planet.

@Henry234 I get where you're coming from. God cannot and doesn't need to limit itself. You're trying to judge the whole out of the perspective of your human ego. It's like a tainted, twisted looking glass that distorts everything you look at. What you see is not what really is. You're projecting human emotions into the whole. They are part of the whole but not the whole.

God is alone because he is limitless. And he has created everything else because of that, too. You as human are God having the experience of relationships with others.

Your ideas are also an experience. The only thing that's prior to experience is being. But you can only experience that (haha) through experience. Or let's say understand it. Being can not be achieved, it can only be recognized.

But know that it’s all perfectly and specifically created the way it is. You can’t experience eternal unchanging pleasure, that’s not how EXPERIENCE works. Experience needs movement.

@Water by the River In short: You think that Leo is somehow "wrong", you know it better and can fix him. That's because it's your imagination. You proclaim to have reached the final state (how ironic) and now everybody else has to do that too (by your standards) or everything they say can't be of any value. You got a huuuge ego my friend. That's not the issue, the problem is that you completely deny it.

That's your assumption, because you think that that is evil and shouldn't exist. I challenge you to open yourself to the possibility that God's design is so intelligent that you need more understanding to see that it is in fact not evil, but part of perfection.

Nice observation and yeah I think that's how the collective psyche works. There are certain themes and someone embodies it, if that person leaves or dies it is in the pool again and wants to be embodied by somebody else. Until someone that embodies those energies solves it and sets the bound energy free. Those emotional knots are bound energy, like matter is bound energy, too.

Do you use psychedelics? If so – it's just part of the deal. You gotta decide if you're OK with reaching astronomical high states of consciousness for a short period of time, but you will definitely not come even close sober. Nevertheless you can (and should) work on integrating those experiences into your daily life through reflection, contemplation and other means of processing the experience. Your daily consciousness will rise by that tendentially, but you can never expect to reach these heights between those experiences.

What makes this all really so unbelievably juicy is as soon as you realize that every contradiction, even seemingly completely irreconcilable ones, will be resolved, you start to enjoy the tension more and more. Because BOTH sides are always true at the same time. But you don't know yet HOW it will resolve or how it is even possible. When you encounter an especially rich contradiction you may think: "How can that be?!? This contradiction seems so utterly unsolvable, it must be absolutely impossible that both can be true at the same time!!" That's the most amazing suspense – not at all unlike the moment just before you reach the climax of an orgasm.
