  1. To achieve and especially hold higher states of consciousness you need massive grounding first. Without it they can even be detrimental.
  2. With that reasoning you can shut down any exploration into the nature of consciousness.
  3. True, that’s why you don’t build your life on them.
  4. Only if you're ready to undertake that much responsibility for years to come. Time- & money-wise. It's by far no panacea.
  5. Alcohol, especially daily/regular consumption, definitely lowers your consciousness. Taking drugs solely for pleasure is a huge distraction. It will never fill the hole you feel inside you, it will in fact make it bigger. They are not able to really satisfy you, instead you'll be constantly on the run to your next high. It's hell, really. Self-created hell by being deeply attached to impermanent bodily sensations. You can get high from time to time, but it's a cherry on top. First you gotta feed your soul's desires. And then you're able - maybe for the first time - to actually enjoy it. You just gotta find it or create it from scratch based on your deepest desires. You have desires! Else you wouldn't take drugs to achieve peace of mind. Instead take on fulfilling them for real, instead of just suppressing them with narcotics. Go identify them! But you might need to take a break from the alcohol to allow them to surface. You've been repressing them for so long...
  6. Because Love is the best word for it. Human love is a pale imitation of the real thing.
  7. They're real but they are your imagination.
  8. @Razard86 Interesting. Good knowing of the possibility. But first I got some unfinished business to do here. There’s no need to hurry. I’ll know when I’m ready.
  9. From an unfinished discussion in a now locked thread: For context, I said: @Razard86 answered: So, let's discuss: Is being God special or not? I'd say it's at the same time the most special thing ever and nothing special at all, depending on your perspective. Got another perspective? I invite you to share it here so we can have a discussion about this
  10. Chill. Get yourself together and take time off spirituality. just my Intuition I share
  11. How did you do it? Did you use/develop techniques or was it more spontaneously, or both?
  12. I think that the ugliness comes from viewing it out of a finite - in this case human - perspective. Even if you left your body your mind is still bound in the human realm as long as you are able return. At least on this planet it's the case that shadows disappear if you just look close enough – they're an illusion. I can't say something about all the cosmic horrors, but maybe there's a point where you see that it is absolutely perfect how it is and can not be any other way – out of reasons we can't understand right now.
  13. You don't have to do it for other people in that way you think you would, that's a limiting belief. You don't have any imagination? Come on! Of course you do, I promise. Go search for it inside you. Great! Build something better. I'm on that boat, too.
  14. I read only the title so far, but you create your Life Purpose! Just ask yourself what would be the most amazing to do in this life, even if it seems completely unrealistic, and then think about and strategize how you can go one step in that direction. Did you do the Life Purpose Course? There are a lot of techniques like that.
  15. Thank you I recorded my voice and played the piano part, the rest are all software instruments. I use FL Studio for producing and recording.
  16. A little song I made. I even translated the originally german text into english just for you
  17. Because taxes - if done right - pay for common goods that wouldn't be cared about otherwise in a capitalist system. E.g.: Schools, public benches, public roads, law enforcement, people that are unable to work, keeping the environment clean, and much much more.. It's an antidote to the tragedy of the commons. The only problem lies in what's being done with that money. That's an area where problems arise that need to be solved. But still just stopping to pay taxes isn't a solution and pretty egotistical. Unethical or ethical... the true question is: What works and what doesn't?
  18. I never denied that I care about my life lol I also care about LIFE. Define special, there's so much misunderstanding here I feel. I 100% listen to what I say and consider the possibility that you're right. That's also a paradox. I know that I know better than anyone else could tell me, but if I think I know better than everyone else I run the risk of becoming deeply deluded. It's a balancing act. Anyway, with special I mean that you think you're better and wiser than everyone else. You'll never be as wise or intelligent as LIFE, which everyone else is a part of. So if you mistake your (human) self for all of life, problems arise. I'm sure you'd agree. Special needs a comparison. In comparison to me as a human LIFE is special in ways I couldn't even begin to understand. I am life, so yeah, I'm special I guess. But it's really a question what we mean with 'I'.
  19. Yeah I got that already. This thread's main purpose is to entice a discussion, so I'm also partly playing devil's advocate. Realizing God doesn't make one special, though. I will.
  20. Calm down lol... I know what you're talking about. But being God can't be anything special because there's nothing else to compare it to. God is also the most ordinary thing ever AT THE SAME TIME as being the most incredible miraculous divinity. It HAS to be that way. Going across the street to catch the next bus, taking the next sip of tea, doing your taxes is God too! Of course! Not being worthy is remnant of ego. It is not that pronounced in my personal configuration. Edit: That doesn't mean I can't or won't go deeper. Of course I do.
  21. Agreed. I once wrote "This Is It". All 3 words mean the same. I didn't say normal, I said nothing special That thought never crossed my mind. This on the other hand definitely. There's no one to share it with, except those parts of me/you that are still in the dark.
  22. That was my MO for most of my life, and I'm sure that's true for most humans today. Everything seemed ordinary, shallow and bland. Now everything is magical again. It's actually amazing that you can even perceive it as ordinary. That's the magic.
