I recently rewatched a clip of Leo interviewing Peter Ralston and have been contemplating: what is consciousness work? I'm having some trouble getting to the core of it. I'd be interested to hear different perspectives or insights from anyone willing to help me get on the right track.

@Leo Gura could you elaborate ive only read peters books and the tao te ching. Some of the books do seem kind of generic though. Ps I love your book list I've read through most of it. -

Well first you need to ask yourself. What is anger? What is jealousy? Imagine someone just slapped you in the face now you're angry now ask yourself what is anger. NOW GET REALLY HONEST. I'm sure you would agree you're actually hurt someone just slapped you in the face and now your emotional hurting. So now what do you do with that Well you get angry of course but if you're really honest you can just be hurt and vulnerable and from that honest vulnerable place you can handle the situation better. Or you can just be angry ? -
@Leo Gura that's funny it's pretty much opposite for me as far as I can tell but then again I don't have much experience with 5 meo.
-
@Leo Gura how did you do 5 meo 30 days in a row how? What is you're motivation how do you even get yourself to do it I'm really curious. Nothing even remotely compares to the ringer that put me through. Even my high dose dmt trips and lsd trips.
