TheAvatarState replied to sarapr's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@sarapr Stage blue people think their stage is the best and don't want to be helped. The only thing that really pushes up stage blue people is the raising collective level of society. Over a person's lifetime, the collective ego can go from blue into Orange, and therefore the individual can skew more orange. But fundamentally, blue is so closed minded that some freak event or inner calling has to happen to where their reality is shattered enough to move up more than 1 stage. -

@PretentiousHuman this is something you'll eventually have to experience yourself, as what is being said is pointing beyond the mind. Kriya and self-inquiry are excellent practices to get to know yourself better, and when you do, these insights and understandings will come to you that will be more and more in line with Leo's video. Best of luck! -
Conscious people act in "Bad" ways in the eyes of society all the time! Psychedelics are illegal. What they say is offensive and triggering. Their views are so "out there" that they're deemed lunatics by mainstream society. Now, the conscious person isn't acting in a "Bad" way to himself or to others, but it is seen as bad from low consciousness society's perspective. Also, everyone has flaws. Alan Watts died a raging alcoholic. "Good" people can turn into cult leaders. What I'm hoping to do here is to help break down your rigid notions of good and bad, and to see that it's all a fabrication and highly relative. Stop thinking in terms of good and bad, it's not truthful or helpful. Think more in terms of conscious and unconscious. Well, you might object that level of awareness or consciousness is relative too. We'll, as it turns out, consciousness is a universal aspect of reality, and everyone experiences consciousness the same, as we are all one unified field of Consciousness. It isn't quantifiable or logical, but nevertheless it is an irreductible part of our experience. A conscious person will be aware that he is part of an intricately connected system, and will see how he affects his environment, IS his environment, and will act in a responsible and healthy way. An unconscious person will act out of ignorance and damage others and his environment without realizing, even though he thinks he's "good" and has the best intentions.

This is the greatest blunder you could have made... time to go back to Square One.

Without a doubt, it's to realize you know nothing.

This is a dualistic distinction that you were spoonfed by society. Neither good nor bad exist, they are conceptualizations based solely on an individual perspective. In other words, all identity is relative and fluid. What is good or bad to you would not be to someone else, and even if you generalize a population into a collective ego that seems to have a moral compass of its own (spiral dynamics explains this), then the very rule is that society is ALWAYS evolving and changing to higher consciousness values. A society's notion of good and bad changes all the time. So then you might ask, "These higher consciousness values are certainly the gold standard for 'good' right? Since that's where we're evolving towards?" Well, this gets tricky because what is "good" at one stage can be very bad at another. So from what perspective are you looking to answer this question? From society's perspective, what's good or bad depends on their stage in the spiral. From a universal perspective, good and bad don't exist and there's no difference in how one acts. From an ecological perspective, then ecological awareness (footprint) is "good" and unconsciousness is "Bad." I think that as people on this planet, that's the very least we should be doing.

I actually can't understand why you WOULDN'T want to live it! Isn't the whole point of a "fantasy" something that you dream about and want? That crazy, mystical experience that was beyond your wildest dreams? Well, that IS reality! Like, I really don't understand this question! -

More does not equal better. I'd say at most once a month to keep the magic and healthy mind state... I know firsthand that tripping every 2 weeks or less can result in a lot of bad trips and other crazy shit I won't go into here. No more than once a month with most psychedelics like mushrooms and LSD. I don't think 5-meo or regular DMT has this same harmful effects, because it's shorter and there's no tolerance. -
That's a great realization, happy you got that far to admit it to yourself. That's powerful. I would go to the root of this issue within yourself. Track when your started feeling this way (this macho independent person). This is pretty common, and I have experienced something similar myself, as it can feel really lonely on this path and you develop this shell. Your ego has developed a negative reaction to asking for help, as it belittles your ego. Practice humility, not in a degrading way, but a healthy and optimistic way. Think of yourself as really early in your journey, and that you have much to learn. If you practice this, then you'll break away at this shell and you'll be much more eager to ask questions and engage with people. This could help all areas of your life, too, even your task of fully realizing no-self. This is the process of breaking down your ego and expanding your identity, and again, this forum is a perfect resource for finding out how to do that. Oh yeah, I highly recommend the LP course. I just started it recently so I haven't created my LP yet, but just the concepts, video and book recommendations, and other stuff so far has been great.

Yeah, I saw those in Leo's Nuutropics video, I'll try those as well. But from what I read and understand, you don't need supplements to do it. It's all practice, like it's almost entirely a trained skill. Ah, but isn't it through the egoic illusion that we pursue spirituality? I'm thinking you could use lucidity to use as an interactive classroom of raising your consciousness. There are things you can do in dreams that aren't possible here. For instance, actually interacting with strange loops. Raising creativity. It could be a way to interact with your inner psyche visually. I don't know, I see a lot of potential here. You should know that trying to pursue worldly pleasures in a dream is just as fruitless as pursuing them in real life. Remember, the opposite of that is also true (and more likely), that you could fall into the very egoic desires in your dreams and get addicted to them. Because your lucid dream will feel real, imagine getting free sex with the hottest women without working for it? I think it would sink you in rather than raise you up... -
What is indecision and anxiety born of? You may be shocked to find the answer! What you're experiencing right now, yet not fully aware of or trusting of, is actually your intuition on the correct answer. Yes, you already know exactly what you should be doing. This intuition is so deep and powerful that you can't rationalize it, and what's happening is that you're in this constant loop of negative feedback (mental chatter, noise) of trying to appeal to rationality to make the right choice. You were programmed with this neural pathway, so please don't hate yourself. I think we've all been there! What you should find out is that you can rationalize both choices equally convincingly, and if you study this honestly, you'll further find that your rationality is emotionally driven. So the "correct choice" will shift entirely based on your current mood and egoic desires. So ask yourself, what is the best path for me for my future wellbeing and fulfilment? Think long term, think your vision statement. Drop all your inhibitions and fears, and listen to yourself. The correct path will present itself crystal clear in that moment, and when it does, write it down in detail and stick with it.

@The White Belt Now that you've done your trip, it is most definitely safe to trip solo, and even preferred in some cases as it can really take you to deep introspection and discovery. Everything you need to know can be found within. That being said, it's not a good idea to trip solo at a dose you haven't tried before. For instance, don't go, "Oh, I can handle this, I'll just do 200ug next time solo." Obviously, that is a recipe for disaster. But when you get more comfortable with the substance, it is generally safe to trip solo up to about 250ug. In my personal experience, anything above that, no matter how experienced you are, the trip can pull you in directions you DID NOT intend to go. Every trip I've had at 250ug and under was quite blissful and manageable. There's really no reason to go above that unless you REALLY want to fucking die (it's not what it's cracked up to be). There are other psychs like 5-meo-DMT and regular DMT that are much better for ego death. Ego death on LSD can be extremely warped and scary, the risk is a lot higher for traumatic events. Of course everyone is different, so the bottom line is that you should take dose increases slowly and always with a trip sitter, or at least someone close by that can assist you. Don't forget that the most powerful technique for breaking out of weird thought patterns and loops is to change your state, and move to a different room. You wouldn't believe how liberating moving to a different room can be! -

@PretentiousHuman Try to watch this with an open mind. It'll be really weird, trust me, but will help answer your question in the long term. -
TheAvatarState replied to PretentiousHuman's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
All love is self-love. Now, your ego could use this realization for great harm if you didn't fully understand it. Which, I don't think you have the foundation to appreciate this in a healthy way yet. This is fine and expected, but REALLY contemplate this! You can get there pretty quickly if you're openminded. Love is not an emotion. The emotions we feel are second-order phenomena, byproducts of a metaphysical process of connection with the self (the universe). Your emotions POINT to love, but they themselves are not what love is. Consider this: You can not love others unconditionally until you have fully accepted and loved yourself. Is this true in your direct experience? And if it is true, contemplate why this is so... -

TheAvatarState replied to Arhattobe's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Arhattobe The inability to empathize and approach the problem from their level is actually a stage Green, tier 1 approach. What you said may be true, but it was not what the other person needed to hear right there. Without the proper context and guidance, that information has driven many people to suicide, and will continue to do so. -
TheAvatarState replied to Maya_0's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Wait, you came to get the public opinion on Leo's forum?? I would tell them that all we have is personal subjective experience, that the notion of "objective" is an illusion couched WITHIN the subjective, and that they're question begging by having the wrong assumptions provided by their implied metaphysics. And of course, I'm the crazy one! Does that answer your question? -
TheAvatarState replied to Cepzeu's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Cepzeu Inception! Remember that scene where all the old, sick people came together in the basement just to lucid dream with the help of that substance? I think we've barely tapped the vastness of human potential when it comes to utilizing the dreamscape for personal development. I believe we have dreams for a reason, not only to physically rest and heal, but to explore the deepest parts of ourselves, like a trip. There's this infinite void of possibility here just waiting to be discovered. You're definitely on to something! That's great that you're aware of this. Did you watch Leo's recent video on ego backlash? This is the same mechanism at play, and understanding it and setting proper expectations is key to moving farther in this field. What are some things that you'd like to try when you're able to consistently achieve lucidity? I have some ideas, but I'd love to hear yours first.
