  1. @fridjonk Do you read through the past? The future? No, you can only read through the now. Getting lost in concepts after reading is an entirely different matter, but reading itself is a very beneficial activity.
  2. @MM1988 Comparing yourself to others, creating a mental framework, and putting yourself down is the real mental gymnastics. It's all ego. Accepting your current position in life, no matter what it is, is a surrender of mental gymnastics. And that's really healthy.
  3. @Krzysztof What if I told you that Truth IS Hallucination?
  4. @MM1988 well, let's consider the opposite reaction. Let's get angry at God for not making everything "perfect." Are you suggesting that we regress, point fingers, and harbor hatred towards life circumstances way outside our control? I'm not really sure what your point is.
  5. @fridjonk you're right. Science, epistemologically and metaphysically, is still in the 1800s and reeling from the discoveries of QM in the early 1900s. I have a feeling that this will accelerate very quickly in our lifetimes, possibly putting us in solid green within 50 years.
  6. It's not that this isn't possible for God, it's that it would fuck up a lot of things, and wouldn't create the most good for all. First of all, you would not be happy past the initial thrill. Second of all, whoever you stole the money from would not be happy. What you're asking for is not physically possible without breaking a lot of rules or stealing. Would you give yourself this money knowing all this? "I make mistake after mistake and keep failing in life." Smart people realize there's no such thing as a mistake. Learn from your falls, love them. Be like water. In God's eyes, you are the whole of God, infinitely beautiful and infinitely intelligent. That's what I see! It pains me to see you so self-conscious and self-defeating. There isn't a single dumb object in the universe. And the only person convinced you are "dumb" is yourself. The only quality about you that's "dumb" in any way is your conviction that you are lesser. Even this conviction, this label, is ultimately not dumb at all, just another puzzle piece in God's (your) infinite plan. Have you ever wondered that maybe, just maybe, God needed to believe he was dumb at some point in order to see through the other side?
  7. Wow I'm surprised! This, coming from the guy who has spent most of his life searching for the "God" equations that will explain everything. But yeah, I mean it's blindingly obvious that we are directed by a higher intelligence. Evolution is intelligent. I guess it's only a matter of time for science to drop the materialist paradigm and actually admit what the fuck is going on here.
  8. You've never had free will, because there is no one there to have it. Your thoughts are not your own, because there is no one there to have them. Your entire life has been a lie. Free will is an impossible concept. Ultimately, you can trace the line of causation back to SOMETHING that made you do it. And there HAS to be a something. Free Will posits that there is an output from which there was no input or reason. Free Will is a clever illusion that has trapped you your entire life.
  9. @FreeThoughtFlow you should change your name to ButthurtFlow. Yes, good, let it flow through you
  10. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not accusing you of playing a game in a childish, demeaning way. I'm just pointing to the truth that all identity is illusory, and that spiritual identity can be as toxic as identity politics.
  11. @Aakash glad I was able to help ? Man, Leo's latest stuff has really done a number on me ?
  12. @Aakash God has desire. It is a self-less desire driven by Love. This is far beyond what the ego-mind could ever grasp. If God was desireless, then why are we here? What was the drive to create this beautiful existence? Why does God work miracles through people that have surrendered? Why does infinite love emanate from those closest?
  13. Yes. But the concept of identification must fly out the window. For instance, my ego self identifies as Male. There are many reasons why this identity is important when living in society. But identifying as God is like identifying as every gender or classification that exists or ever will exist simultaneously. Is it really an identity at that point? Or a surrender to totality? An identity only means something in relation to other identities. Your true nature is identity-less, so stop playing that game.
  14. @Aakash Who is acting like God? You see, the eternal, infinite "you" is God. You are nothing other than God. The egoic "you" is an illusory identity that, while part of God's infinite beauty, also distances you from God-consciousness. "Identifying as God" is a bit of a misnomer. It is the identity that is all-encompassing, all-loving, and completely identity-less. It is nothing, void. You can only act as God when you identify as God, that is to say you've surrendered all identity and attachments. God will work through you when you've surrendered. You are no longer in control. This is what Leo is trying to achieve over the next few years.
  15. The ones crazy enough to believe they can change the world are usually the ones who do. People who are after the highest levels of consciousness must have a Divine Pride underlying their work. It's the vision that becomes the fuel that drives such people. It's obvious that Leo is not partaking in bragadosia for the sake of it. Your whole post is an egoic reaction to the love and wisdom he's trying to communicate. And that's fine, we all react that way to some extent. But you must try to identify this reaction and be really self-honest. Leo is way beyond anyone else I know on YT in this field, and some of these truths have never been shared or explained in video format. Some of this stuff might seem really egoic, and there's no way around that when discussing God. Try to stay open-minded and less critical.
  16. @Shin insanity is unavoidable, but it will stop being insanity when it becomes the new normal. Then you'll even like it. Focusing on love has helped me.
  17. @Wisebaxter sounds like you had a great trip! Thanks for keeping us updated
  18. Sorry I double commented the same thing. I deleted this one for clarity, my proper comment is above
  19. @Wisebaxter for this issue, you must drop all your ideologies and moralizations, Including the idea that hatred is a "capacity" or that it exists at all. You understand that nondual consciousness (the Godhead) is pure love, and you've verified that with direct experience. So, as any rational being would expect, there MUST be a counterforce like Yin-yang to balance it out. And you've assumed that an experience of hate is a direct opposite to love, and must have the same capacities and qualities as love. That's a completely normal line of reasoning, and I think we've been down that line. However, it turns out this is false and nothing more than a story. Let's deconstruct hate. H8. 8 = infinity. Infinity = Love. H8 is just a modified, distorted version of love! As a side note, this must mean that ate = infinity, so food = love. Yup, checks out. (I have absolutely no idea what I did there, but it made sense to me ). Ok, let's get to the same conclusion the right way. All hate on all levels, whether it's individual or collective, inward or outward, boils down to one thing: separation. You seek to distance yourself from something else. This is impossible because all things are fundamentally connected, and this is demonstrated even clearer in self-hated, because you cannot distance yourself from yourself. Self-hatred is quite a self-destructive mindset, because it is impossible without inventing further subdivisions of your own psyche to attempt to distance yourself from. Hatred is just an illusion of the ego. Let's take the example of racism: a white man appears to hate a black man. If you dive into why the white man is racist, you can trace it to a projection of his psyche, and that projection traces to a lack of love in other areas. It's not that there's this thing called "hate" inside him, it's that this concept we call hate is just a direct mirroring and projection of not receiving enough love himself. Love is connection, and all things are connected. That is our true nature. To hate is to separate, and because true separation is not possible, we create the illusion of separation through mentally subdividing the whole and judging the parts. Turning this into an ideology. An ideology is nothing more than a mental framework based on subdivision and separation. So next time you hear that people are "spreading hate," you'll know exactly what that means.
  20. Do@Seththomas What a great question. First off, you have to realize that there are MANY levels to understanding what is Consciousness. You are new to Leo's content and nonduality, so I'll try to explain it simply from this perspective. Consciousness is much more than just a human's capacity to be self-aware from a certain relative perspective. In fact, that's not what it is at all. For now, think of consciousness as a range (from low to high) that describes one's capacity to be aware of actuality. What most people see and how they operate is RADICALLY different from what is actually here. Most people run on a framework (ideology) that distorts and limits what they perceive, and the crazy part is that they aren't aware they're doing it. In this way, low consciousness is characterized by a lack of critical thinking, denial of direct experience, and reliance on ideology, while high consciousness is characterized by open-mindedness, self-experimentation, and integral thinking. Seeking to understand and surrender these attachments will raise your level of consciousness. You are correct that raising your consciousness is the goal of all spiritual work. What you're not seeing, however, is how powerful a nuanced understanding of consciousness can be. "Awareness" can be used interchangeably with "consciousness," and it often paints a clearer picture in our minds. It is no fluke that raising consciousness happens to be the "catch-all" blanket term for spiritual development. This doesn't render the term meaningless, it actually adds clarity to every other teaching or practice along the path. When you ask, "what is the purpose of this meditation?" you can immediately say, "Oh, I'm just raising my baseline level of consciousness." When you ask why you're journaling or doing self-inquiry, you can immediately say, "Oh, I'm mapping out meaning, taking on new perspectives, and exploring metaphysics. This raises my awareness of actuality." Consciousness is not only the how , but also the why.
  21. I think Leo is more of a Morpheus figure. "I can only show you the door. You are the one that has to walk through it." The Neo of our time will be someone with psychic abilities that breaks the rules and demonstrates this stuff. A magician. And this might not be just one person... I feel like the floodgates are going to open soon.
  22. Understand it. Question it. To death. How can you lift the veil if you don't know what you're lifting? You're on the right track by watching Leo's 3-part series on it. You have to identify all the times you take part in the self deception, and that will take time and patience and a lot of self honesty. That's what really helped me.
