  1. So it's literally an impossible question based on your own definition: they can't compete together. Got it.
  2. I think I understand what you're saying. But the deeper mindfuck that undermines it all is that there isn't a body here telling itself it is real. Survival has a hidden metaphysics that it evolved that way over time, yet you're saying both the rock and the body are eternal, infinite consciousness. How can you say time doesn't exist unless you project it, yet also say the body evolved complicated processes through survival over time? I feel like I'm missing something important about your view of survival.
  3. What the fuck are you trying to do to us, Leo? ? Sounds like the plot of the worst mindfucking horror movie. But it course you can't explain to people the horror show comes full circle to love and beauty without the details changing...
  4. Look up Oscar Pistorius, runner with prosthetic limbs. Anything is possible, just maybe not in the way you expected.
  5. @orpheos you are every life right now, and every life that has ever been or will be. You've already lived through the worst and the best, you just don't remember... So once you realize you're God, there's nothing to fear.
  6. Nice write-up. The present moment is eternal simply for the fact that you're not worrying about putting time in perspective or context. Notice that your observations of time moving slowly or quickly are relative and highly contingent on your ability to remove yourself from the present moment. "Time moving" is a concept that does not exist in actuality. So what does this mean? It means your belief in time is the trap. Time only moves quickly when you are focused on escaping the present moment. Bring all your examples to mind, it really is that simple. Only when you aren't OK with the present moment will time make you her bitch, by making you feel like you missed out.
  7. @Pouya watch Leo's video "brains do not exist" and "what is perception"
  8. Full awakening is when you realize you were never born. So yeah, it's kind of like death, except you continue to have this present experience. Die before you die.
  9. Yeah, in my experience the concentration practice sets the stage for the meditation right after. It enhances it, and I really like it
  10. Wow, Leo was absolutely right. Scientists really do not see the flaws in their reasoning. They think this is true science! In this article, the higher self-actualization needs from Maslow's pyramid were "examined" to come from base biological needs like attention seeking, thus de-mystifying and dumbing it down. But what the scientists didn't see, is that their whole game was rigged from the start. They only looked through the lens of dumb evolutionary biology (survival of the fittest) in their assessment, and furthermore, exhibited a complete lack of understanding of self-actualization itself. Read it for yourself: https://bigthink.com/surprising-science/self-actualization-gene?rebelltitem=3#rebelltitem3
  11. First off, it's not silly. I've been there. Investigate why this seems terrifying to you. Maybe your whole life you've been counting on death as the "big sleep." Comforting. That no matter how good or bad things turn out, you can finally rest at the end. The ego simultaneously fears death and finds comfort in the idea of death as an escape. But this comfort you feel is not a warm feeling, is it? Why? Because this comfort is fear-based. The reason you have this relationship with death is because you also fear life... You may be in denial about some aspects of yourself, and this is normal. It doesn't have to be this way though, you can change it. Having Revelations like you just had on LSD, SOMETIMES ISNT SUPPOSED TO FEEL GOOD. It's challenging, it rocks you to your core, and it surfaces fears that you didn't realize existed. This is true growth. Things will get better if you just keep learning and investigating. You'll soon realize the fear you have is also an illusion, perpetuated by your ego to keep you locked down. It's a natural survival mechanism. The only way to move forward is to understand how it works.
  12. Frustration is part of it. Growth is nonlinear, you'll get a big breakthrough then days or even weeks of plateau. Trying to keep perspective is the best way to deal with it. Push forward! Highly recommend watching Leo's videos on "Life happens in stages" and "Understanding ego backlash."
  13. What a great follow-up to Leo's latest episode of Conscious Politics! This episode is relatively short at 1 hour, so I highly recommend it for those interested in our future. Much respect to many of the democratic candidates sticking their necks out to come on probably the largest and most influential podcast in the US. FYI, Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Yang have also come on the show so far, also great interviews.
  14. Dogma:" a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true." So, dogmatic religion simply means religion practiced in this way. A truth claim based on "higher authority" that cannot be challenged. Notice how nearly all religions are believed in this way. Only you can verify truth for yourself, because only you have sole authority over your reality.
  15. @Javfly33 suicide is ultimately a selfish act because you're not the only person involved. When you become conscious, you realize you are deeply interconnected with everyone else, including loved ones, friends, coworkers, etc. How would you feel if your best friend committed suicide? Would your first thought be: that's completely his decision to make, I'm sure it was for spiritual reasons do good for him? What about your mother? How would that affect you?
  16. @theking00 I love video games too. Too much. That's when I realized I had to stop for my own personal growth, and that's a radical step to take that can't be done overnight. Try to focus on consciously playing video games in moderation, maybe as a reward after doing consciousness work. You'll find that you can enjoy games that much more after you do meditation, self-inquiry, etc.
  17. Yes, but couldn't this be fully explained by differences in development during upbringing? For instance, a single child could have a lot more alone time, possibly leading to more introspection and differences in attitudes towards other people. There's so many unique factors outside a child's control that it could totally explain all the varieties of thinking types. This isn't to say I'm ruling out past lives, but I can't say that I've observed anything that would suggest such a theory. Perhaps I'm missing something Leo?
  18. @Aakash I really do see your passion for Truth as wonderful, and by no means do I want for you to feel bad or stop. However, it's important for all of us to self reflect on our words and actions. What if you are getting lost in concepts, trying to quantify the un-graspable? What if I overstepped my bounds by calling your well-intentioned and well-thought out post foolish? I don't know, but I do know my heart is in the right place as well. What if calling your friend a fool is part of the infinite love fractal expressing itself? Is tough love necessary, or should we all just show support without reasonable critique? What if I'm really the deluded one? You see, who's wrong and who's right is irrelevant in any context outside of ego, the only thing that matters is if you are open minded enough to consider every possibility, and to admit mistakes despite being heavily invested. Unapologeticly. You're only feeling bad and apologizing to yourself after all.
  19. @FredFred yes, circle of concern (identity) grows to a universal level, so you realize there is no distinction between you and anyone else. Their pain becomes your pain. Not that you directly feel it, of course, but you are able to empathize with it like it's your own. I wouldn't say I'm there yet, but I'm definitely moving in that direction. Opening yourself up to Love is a huge work in progress.
  20. @Aakash you claim authority on the knowledge and proof of the highest truth, which you try to explain through symbols. Furthermore, all knowledge is relative so it cannot be Truth. Anyone making this claim is a fool. The sad irony is that the one who claims the highest truth cannot see this. So I wish you a fantastic day, and I hope you continue to Love unconditionally. In the beginning, middle and end, the rest of this shit doesn't matter. ?
  21. @herghly this will be a budding field over the coming years. It's completely unknown and untapped. To give you an example, Mozart played to cheese while it ages produces much milder flavor than cheese that was played hip hop. Not even trolling you. What this means exactly for us and our relationship to frequencies, only time will tell.
  22. @FredFred thank you for sharing. I was just talking with my dear friend, and I asked him, "Why is it that the more woke you get, the more painful it is to be around other's suffering and ignorance?" He replied, "I think it's because you feel more empathy for their own self-harm." This is the story of becoming more conscious, more mature. On one hand you awaken to infinite Love, and it's the most amazing thing. But on the other hand, it turns bittersweet when you realize you can't directly share it. That nothing you could say or do would change the fact of their immense suffering, through no fault of their own. Fully loving the world is the most difficult thing to do because you also have to accept and love the suffering, hatred, and ignorance.
  23. @Ampresus thank you so much for this post! That show is honestly genius, and Patrick was secretly woke o'clock. I'll never be too old for SpongeBob ?
  24. Music is often referred to as the universal language. Just a few minutes ago, I watched a 5-meo trip report on YouTube where the guy describes infinite love expressed as a song he used to know in a previous existence but had long forgotten. He described it as "coming home," Terrence McKenna described the DMT realm as inhabited by machine elves that sang matter into existence. In The Teachings of Don Juan, songs were sacred and able to transcend space, time, and dimensions. Mescalito loves music. Even I have had direct experience with entities urging me to sing. So my question is: Is music relative? At first glance, this notion seems silly... OF COURSE it's relative! Music is a flow of notes over time (relative). It must have a beat, time signature, key, certain audible frequency, etc... all of these characteristics we generally associate with music are relative to our human experience. But what if our notion of "music" is extremely limited? What if there's something more here that transcends our reality? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!
