  1. @Alex bliss watch Leo's latest video
  2. Textbook Devilry. Of course he would believe that a lawful impeachment proceeding would be nefarious, unlawful, unpatriotic, and devilish! Wow...
  3. Never thought I'd see the words secure, trust, and destruction in the same sentence. Made me think about the work we do here, to deconstruct reality and to trust in the process. And "secure" is such a fickle concept, yet such a powerful buzzword for most people. The ego loves to cling to the illusion of security.
  4. @Aakash how are you not in on the cosmic joke? We're all dead! This isn't so terrifying when you grasp that you were never born. So the distinction between dead and alive never existed in the first place. You created that distinction. Yet here we are!
  5. It's a practice designed to arrive you at "mu." Like a Zen koan. With one change, it leaves you with pure awareness. I haven't done the practice, fyi
  6. @Aakash sounds like a Zen koan in practice. Would definitely lead you in the right direction
  7. @Pouya practical? You're asking how to put this infinite insight into a box so your ego can digest it. Practicality is but one lens you use, and it's a selfish lens constructed around your own survival. You must remove Love of its qualities in order to see it through this lens. Love ain't practical.
  8. Ignorance is thinking Ignorance is @Alex bliss. Ignorance is making a distinction between mind and consciousness. Ignorance is seeking to remove ignorance. Ignorance is assuming it's a thing people have. Ignorance is asking where it is before investigating what it is.
  9. @assx95 go study somewhere else, maybe like a library. Don't take your phone with you. Addictions are often triggered and perpetuated by location and certain devices. Break out of the rut and do something way different. You'll feel a lot better too!
  10. Thank you. You are a gentleman and a scholar.
  11. Oh ok I get it now. This is confusing to talk about in language period, sometimes you need to write it out like that. Thank you. "Concept is being" doesn't convey enough information unless I have all your context and perspective on the matter.
  12. You don't understand why spiral Dynamics is colored the way it is. It's actually very intuitive, also after the rainbow, with one key difference. Cut the rainbow (line) in half, and place each half side by side. From purple to Yellow, it follows the pattern that it alternates from one half to the other, from the extremes (red and purple) inwards. The two halves each stand for individual (red to yellow) and collective (purple to green) focus. This is very integral to the model. Here's another way to visualize it (white dot is turquoise). Each time the black spiral crosses the line, that's a stage.
  13. @The Don you have died before. And you are here.
  14. Isn't "concept and imagination" different than "being?" Isn't that what your whole "what is actuality" video about?
  15. @Pernani um, first off, how would you investigate this sort of thing scientifically? Which you would have to do to make these claims. You'd have to know exactly how a past trauma changed the trajectory of someone's life. Which is completely impossible and absurd. Thousands of Little changes can become domino effects into adulthood; it's completely unpredictable. Only in retrospect in my own life can I clearly see the chain of causation. How I was raised led me to where I'm at now, and I'd have absolutely no business being where I'm at now if certain traumas or events didn't happen, and each one at the time of occurrence felt "insignificant." Put simply. I have been in deep shit, financially and otherwise, which I can 100% trace back to how I was raised. It's all connected. Now of course this doesn't condone a victim mentality. I've learned to take full responsibility and ownership of my life. But please don't listen to Martin's bullshit. His is a potentially dangerous ideology.
  16. English is warped, what do you actually mean by this?
  17. Zero is most definitely a concept. What you're conflating it with is "nothingness" or "void" but those are also concepts that exist. "God is nothingness" is the name of a book on Leos book list, and it's pointing to something way beyond 0.
  18. @CreamCat you have to understand they are deeply unconscious and aren't assholes by choice. It becomes impossible to hate them when you see this. Instead of wishing certain online communities were more conscious, maybe you should consciously choose to spend less time there. I remember your post about reddit, so it seems you've already thought about this. You can still enjoy unconscious communities (which still have some good content) if you can get to a point where you don't have a negative emotional reaction. For me, it took time and a lot of observation accept these things, and it's still a work in progress. Don't hang around places that trigger you, because you tend to project your disappointment back on the community as a mechanism so you don't grow yourself.
  19. @NoSelfSelf yes. If you don't find yourself deeply lost at several points, you're probably doing it wrong. Which is why just understanding you should be lost can provide comfort. Trust in your intuition, develop that connection and you'll pull through.
  20. Thank you for this brief alignment ? I'll try to remember
  21. Masculine. So masculine love brings pragmaticism into the equation, and sometimes goes too far.
  22. These distinctions ultimately collapse. They were invented, as there's no hard line between the two. But, it's useful to understand for personal development, integration, and shadow work. So here's my take on it. Feminine love is giving and connecting with others. "Awww." Protecting. We may associate that with the "man of the house" but I think that's actually a slice of feminine love. Look in nature. This strong protection instinct is not actually survival, it is completely selfless. A mama bear will die to protect the Cubs (so would the papa bear, but that's tapping into the feminine) Masculine love is survival. Self-centered and egoic. This does not make it "worse" than the feminine. It's the hard decisions that have to be made sometimes. Notice that the masculine and feminine are in Stark contrast. Outward vs. inward. Self vs. other. Now I'm open to being wrong about some of this, but this just makes the most sense to me right now. I think it's actually that simple.
  23. Thanks for the correction, you're right. So the universe created the limited human self to appreciate Love through form? Is that what this is? And I have another question. How does the Universe "know" things like that if it's formless? How can intelligence and knowledge be a-mechanical? This seems an obvious impossibility.
