not sure how many of you have heard of library of babel "The Library of Babel" (Spanish: La biblioteca de Babel) is a short story by Argentine author and librarian Jorge Luis Borges (1899–1986), conceiving of a universe in the form of a vast library containing all possible 410-page books of a certain format and character set. (from wiki) someone a couple of years ago made a website in which you can search a random string of words or a conversation which you may have had a few minutes ago and it will exist somewhere in the vast database which contains all of possible things which can be said here's the website: https://libraryofbabel.info/ anyways. so let's say someone comes up with a huge medical breakthrough which is summarized a single page those exact words would already be somewhere in this infinte-esq database... it will be random words/strings generated to have created that particular page. but the fact remaning, it exists theoratically, the cure for cancer exists in the database, just needs to be found... but there are also a billion+ "cures for cancer" which exists but aren't correct per say... so applying this concept to reality as a whole how exactly is it "intelligent" if it's just the set of all possible sets i mean, it is INFINTE.. so it's large enough to include this particular moment and a question about it but what's the "intelligence" isn't it really, "no intelligence" but just randomized/meaningless ISNESS which we find and assign meaning to (which is also a part of it) but from the Abolsute view, it all just is... the fact that ISNESS of it exists, that's beyond understanding and one cannot ask the HOW but i am just trying to understand that the infinte intelligence Leo refers to... is that intelligence in a unconventional use of that word when applied to reality? @Leo Gura @winterknight

@Sahil Pandit wow. that's amazing! you're right - and it's just amazing to watch and understand the whole structure of what's playing out infront of you greg pops is GOAT indeed. and yup. all primed skillfull positions, coaches, alike operate in that state eh, amazing! you wrote "how much of a flow they must be in" i have heard that before here and elsewhere the flow state. what exactly is that? is that where "you" take a back-seat and let all unravel as it should... ? if i understand correctly, just for the sake of understanding that point, an enlightened being is in the flow state 24/7 / most of the time? and to their level, it includes talking, walking , all actions ya?

@winterknight thank you very much for the in-depth answer! i agree. i guess that's what one has to work to for me, its like. okay, i am now content... but then how will i get up to do the work therein lies the fine line between me and the mind/whole of maya i can be at a distance and let it all happen i can put a bit of effort/memory and recall that state and understand what i need to do as you say, more and more time in this will help thank you or as mooji puts it, "marinate in that state" <3

@winterknight what constitutes as a glimpse? would a glimpse always require a struggle of the ego prior to it? i don't think it does (for example sadhguru's story of awakening... just happened, no ego death per say - the process of requiring the death of the ego/struggle I mean) also. i have had a brief state in which I just WAS... i "noticed" the desire to think about the state or make a comment about it... but i just remained as that only. it was amazing... but i didn't think that would be a glimpse? and is it also possible that the ego does not become afraid of what it has seen/witnessed? (ego only thinks it was the one who had this experieince, that i understand) but right after the glimpse, if one returns with the sense of awe and no fright. does that mean it was a glimpse too? maybe i am paying too much attention to the fact when leo says in some of his videos that the truth will shock the shit outta you i guess it can or can not shock the shit outta you depending on how long you been doing the work or how much you know about it? but please do answer, the glimpse or total awakening.. once can just melt into that if they are already in tune with many of their personal level issues.. i find to be accepting whatever usually happens, tend of have few desires/choices when planning on where to go or what to do with family. i am the OKAY-with-everything guy. i am contend. i guess when one is deeply contend with what is, the truth maybe self revealed as it was to sadhruguru in the example i know of.. ( i am sure there are other infinte awakenings like that lol) hope mine is like that too (who is this "mine" which I think i am referring to) <<< who is this asker <<< and so on

@Leo Gura wow love it. that was very elegant of course i can't give YOU Leo the credit for it that's just the Universe doing it thru you, but wow. and I suppose what's incredibly profound and ridiculous is that fact that there is no end to the number line in either direction... yet it is a complete closed loop of infinite material for eternity and as you said in one of your videos, it's is SO TOTAL and COMPLETE that it is everything and loops back to become nothing as well. a singular point of infinity thank you as always Leo also what's mind blowing is that fact that there is no limit to any limit we think there may be if there can be a way to assign a number to "pain", and getting kicked hard in the balls was 10,000 PAIN POINTS (PP) that's the universe expericing and knowing that 10,000 PP thru you but the universe is infinte so it must also know 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,123,443,543,000 PP as well and so on, in any/all/infinte categories in infinte amount of ways HOLY FRUX anyhow, i'll end my mental masturbation before I COME to the wrong conclusions / or give BIRTH to new ones BACK TO WORK SUNNY!

@MM1988 oh yes. i understand the library of babel website/algorithm i watched the full Vsauce video about it on YouTube, infact that's how i learned of this when his video first came out i was referring to the theoretical library of babel existing just to make the reference only VSauce used to be my Actualized.org a few years back. Vsauce is still cool, but barely any videos - one only wonders if more smart minds were given a taste of Leo's content, what they would generate... it is, what it is

This is something I would like to know (I already see this crumbling as I find myself asking "who is this "I" that wants to know?" but still, "I" would like to know this - that when I awaken in my current body-mind I am attached with, will I then forever remain in that state, even after the death of this body-mind... watching as no-thing and being everything? or will my awareness again zero-in onto another body-mind which "I" will have again have to awaken (if possible at all) I ask this question as I have heard this quite often in spiritual circles that someone might have done a lot of leg work in their previous lifetimes to have awakened so easily this time along or whatever the case might be.. that it was multiple lifetimes for the full realization to have finally occurred this leads me to believe that if someone "tires" to awaken in their life.. and fails to do so.. and dies while associating themselves as the body-mind.. then all the "spiritual knowledge/gains" which they acquired "remains" with their spirit and their life begins at that level to continue in the new form which they might become and then try to awaken from there... and then once ultimate full awakening happens / enlightenment... then it's just done, forever, and you live out eternity as a section of the absolute/the whole thing even and no more life/death cycle if enlightenment is to occur upon death automatically anyways. then it aint too bad if someone can't awaken / die before die... but it seems that life/death cycle repeats until you become the container of the life/death cycle.

@Leo Gura hmmmm. I am okay to take your word for it. I know I have to do the work and all to see it But for now. It's good to know it's not just plain dump permutations Another thing. When you understand reality is not material, then it's easy to approximate the intelligence I recall leo has said in his video that a particular leaf on the ground has an infinite causal chain that puts it exactly in that spot on the ground at that exact time in that exact shape and configuration etc And not only in the dimension of time but zoomed-in/out in a fractal design it's all intelligently constructed The only issue I still had with this model is the infinite sized sets with infinite permutation with this particular combination already being there So again, for now your answer I'll accept that it cannot be fully understood with mind and I guess that's good cuz if a puny mind understood that, then it certainly wouldn't be infinite intelligence

yes. on these points: once the assumption that I am a body-mind and its attachments are gotten rid of or i become aware of the enlightenment which is already/always here. and it's the parmanent (mooji, adyashanti, sahdguru, jesus, osho level awakening, full compelete awakening, not a glimpse) then WILL/CAN that go away? one question comes naturally and osho answered this by saying he is now HERE FOREVER so that implies that it will not go away. but post the body-death with which IT nows ITSELF now. once that body is gone, how/what remains as what. the entirety of it. here it is, lol i just find that it would be so blahh working ur ass off as leo says, 10K + hours of work into this, and to finally get the awkening.. only to lose it on death of the body and then reincarnate into the world or some other form as a baby i also find myself telling my that there is only the SELF so i am already incarnate as other ppl who will not awaken and am already part of the very tiny percentage who come to even knowing about it i just hope even though its one self, the self/eyes/awarness within the absolute which i am right now. i hope this stays as who i am after i awaken and then can yolo for eternity

@winterknight please advise about the eternal NOW it is said that past, present, future do not exist. I understand that. they all appeared/will appear in the ever present and ONLY NOW it is also said, that past, present and future all EXIST already IN THE NOW could you clarify how that is so? i presume that's being said from the point of view of the SELF but aren't I the self right NOW? and upon awakening... I will only still be here in 2018... not in 1955 or year 2344.. i will be here NOW is that then just referring to the fact that since there is only the SELF . whatever happened or will happen or is happneing is all witnessed/known by the self so though, the future, which is yet to appear in the NOW... is not yet here... but when it does, it will be known by the self... so in a way, it already exists?

i dont think i have been deep enough to stop recognizing words/thoughts as content i know but i had this with music was listening to music in the background (epic theme music) and heard each instrument separately to combine together to make a beautiful sound also the sound itself was being viewed as something so different than it usually is in that state good stuff

this thread has unfolded on its own and will continue to do so until it won't all on it's own

@Bernard hmmm I had a state like this The absolute feeling of meaninglessness... It was also during a trip (weed and synthetic weed) While in that state, I just couldn't seemed to have reasoned and explained myself out of it But it didn't last very long for me .. it was over after a good night's sleep. It was a feeling of "how do I unsee this" Or how can I deny this profundity, whatever that state was... But it did pass... Now I am not too sure about this state arriving when sober.. can only mean one thing, you must be ready for the next step/advancement. Try to stay calm and work thru this and understand what maybe being shown to you It is the seeing of the cause which puts an end to it Seeing the the snake you are afraid of is actually a rope. But you need to go and check this for yourself because you can keep telling yourself it's a rope but still be afraid as you haven't had a confirmation. Do what's needed to be done. Stay clam. And see yourself outta this illusory trap

@Mikael89 i am sure there was never that happening from the POV of the SELF. Also, SELF only ever knows SELF The distinctions of finite living beings is not known by the SELF. It is seen as itself.

@Serotoninluv maybe that's the ultimate realization that all of what we think or interpertate is false... It has an apparant meaning but no true meaning Maybe that's the deepest insight that all in indeed meaningless as meaning is just what you assign to it

@Nadosa That is a belief which will persist as long as it is believed. How is it believed? By thinking it. By recalling it. Instead tell yourself the opposite... Affirmations maybe?

@winterknight @Emanyalpsid From your current place of being / witnessing all. Do you have a way to know what will happen after the body-mind thru which you live now dies/passes? What will you then be? Or are you already that which I maybe suggesting you will become in the future I'm more so asking what will you "live as" if not the body... ? Right now you are able to communicate your wisdom (or express it since the SELF does not do anything) thru the body... That will cease to be and you will then become all of it. Without a centered body-mind view that you seem to have now?

@winterknight i guess it can be said looking to point out building or university is like we are looking to point to a smell out there or a sound or a sensation or a taste... These do not exist out there Only in the "mind" which will not be found in the physical manifest. Ya?
