  1. @GabeN you and I both just waiting to be pointed to and shown the camera behind which there is God and that is where we are looking from, the cosmic camera
  2. if you wear eyeglasses... then consider that you were looking for your eyeglasses while you've been wearing them the whole time and forgot
  3. @GabeN Hi Gabe. I like to use 2 examples, both which illustrate the same thing. There are many videos online and you must have also had this for yourself where someone scares you from behind an object they were hiding. You will immiditetly yell or scream, your heart rate goes up and you will be afraid but soon after when the realization kicks in that it was your sibling/friend whoever that just scared you, you might start to laugh yourself as well another example, you see many pranks online? those candid camera pranks like just for laughs gags they often present a very serious or awkward situation in which they person they are pranking is afraid, or quite serious or awkward about the whole thing because they think it's a "real" senario being played out infront of them when it is revealed to them that it was just a sham/fun/prank the whole time, they burst out into laughter awakening can be equated to that a lot of awakenings resulting in laughter is of someone going thru deep deep depression or suffering the moment they have the awakening it is almost as if they are being shown the camera that it was just a prank/for fun they see the joke of life that it is nothing but a play they see it to full realization beyond a doubt and similarly, laughter ensues although, i should add, this laughter a A LOT more powerful than the standard laughters but you get the mechanics now example below, the video plays at a moment of revealing
  4. @Ampresus non-duality implies/means that life is a dream. Non-duality = not two When you are dreaming at night. All of that dream which you are having, can that be thought of as a singular object/experience? That's what non-duality is... Or life being a dream. It's taking that analogy but applying it to the whole of reality Then you may wonder, where is the dreamer? YOU ARE THE DREAMER. You exist outside of the dream, but are also the dream. Just like the sleeping you on your bed at night exists outside of your dream at night.
  5. @FoxFoxFox oh I understand fully what you're pointing to here Just giving response to the OP with his own wording/concept Indeed, truth is in the silence
  6. Reality is infinite and must include that possibility too, otherwise it would be limited and not Infinite Most "why"s fall away with this
  7. @lmfao just because you/I haven't seen it doesn't mean it is unture or does not exist and about the people with these super powers and all. i am sure it's rare and as leo says, they dont largely go around parading these powers and right away, there would be more skeptics than believers look at us here, i would say we are quite open minded being on this fourm and all yet we still have a hint of a doubt the fact again is that your believe is what runs you. believe in ideas and concepts have ended lives and also made lives belief is all... a strong belief is direct knowing.
  8. @winterknight thank you for that oh, i largely recognize and live by this understanding... that going to live in a cave etc is not required just was asking after seeing that video... that once the REALITY takes over the body, what then transpires would be "beyond my control" but then again, even this now is really beyond "my" control
  9. hmmm so then even if that infinite love unfolding equals (i am stretching it here) me leaving my job/family and not listening to them and just pursuing something else outta nowhere? wont i just be another ego that thinks it is enlightened? i suppose there is a knowing which will be there if it's real - and one would be noticed to emit compassion (unlike the case in the dr. phill video) and as you said, surrender must be done... so that should apply irrespective of the contents of the unfolding... hmmm. thank you. @winterknight
  10. @Andreas there cannot be a fixed/set time now, can there? the answer would be as long as it's required do note, i dont have any personal experience with developing any such abilities however, looking back, i do recall learning to whistle with fingers in my mouth it was literally the process of adjusting and continuous blowing of air out of mouth resulting in failure until it worked . had a few faint whistles and then once i heard it was working. kept going and now it's a clean whistle also know that this is a "distraction" within the illusion if your goal is to find your true nature / enlightenment then working on developing these super-powers is not required the real super-power is within you. discover that and you will have all the super-powers also, about your question with time notice how that will set up a boundry/limit for you if i say a month and after a month you dont have it, you will stop working on it thinking that you should have gotten it by now, thinking about the 1 month time line and if i say a year, same thing as long as it needs - now that keeps you going until you've got it, isn't it? again. know that this is something other than enlightenment which you are pursuing/asking about here
  11. @Arkandeus nice. kids reminds me of leo's blog post: https://www.actualized.org/insights/the-magic-of-consciousness
  12. @winterknight this is defintely an egoic fear based question. but i hope you can nudge me out of this particular trap this guy came on dr. phill show and here's what the summary of it reads: A man says that he has found ultimate enlightenment. Find out why his wife says he's "more of a walking hypocrite." essentially he feels that he is enlightened... but that's causing all sorts of trouble in his family (which i presume might still happen if he was enlightened for real) he's ignoring the wife, kids... just going about his way... feeling he is guided by the source etc seems like he's got a case of just having reading up too much about non-duality and has an egoic enlightenment trap... i ask you this. provided one gets actually enligthened/awakened... though their instant behaviour/mannerism might be different and will raise questions / issues espescially living in a joint family with parents/wife will the infinite love take over and truly make it allright in that REAL case vs this case of mistaken egoic enlightenment? the video:
  13. @Andreas you can do literally anything you set your mind to and truly believe in what's required is traction... it builds up once you get small results and adds to your confirmation that it is possible all is impossible until it isn't. so yes, if that's what you truly want to work on, go for it. but be ready, for "superpowers" you gonna have to work super-hard any superpower is unconventional you must have undying belief (which builds up overtime) for any of this to work recall the movie Matilda (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117008/) (hopefully you know about it) the girl who moves objects with her eyes. she builds up that ability slowly... not knowing that she has it at first and once she gets results. she herself then knows it is possible and that believe strengths until it becomes absolute knowing and not a believe anymore. and then that ability is effortless semi related, i talk about undying belief in these posts here:
  14. @Anirban657 who will be perceiving the answers to your questions?
  15. Lolololol@aurum Oh man that was good haha @DrewNows thanks Yes. The dedication they put into their craft is exactly what ultimately puts them in that NOW state where they take a back seat and let the training/conditioning take over and display the mastery. Indeed.
  16. recently have been appreciating and seeing the mechanics of what makes a top athlete who they are. gonna talk about basketball here for a moment, take clutch shooting players like kobe, jordan, lebron ... list goes on what's one thing which stands out about any of these and other top players. apart from their skill. when this one factor which i am talking about isn't there. it effects heavily on their skills as well. this one very important and key factor for any top athlete is CALMNESS. ALERTNESS. STAYING EVER PRESENT. NOT TALKING ANY PRESSURE. They play in the NOW they don't worry about their teams losing by 10-15 points with a couple of minutes to go when the attention falls on the clock or the "future" or the "past" in relation to the game, nerves kick in... i was watching the cavs vs warriors game 7 final last week where cavs came back from a 3-1 deficit if u watch this game closely, you can see how much being involved emotionally in a situation effects you/your perforamce in this video. the last 7-8 shots by both teams are all missed. game is tied at 89. finally a shot is made and it goes in. you have the top of the top players, playing under pressure and ONLY that is effecting their full ability the weight of the pressure bringing them down or missing the shot you have got steph curry who makes half court shots with ease missing 3 point shots multiple times makes me wonder if a ball player was fully awakened, how much of a clutch player would he be! lol amazing also. the ending when cavs finally do win, lebron collapses down and is crying/laughing he is fully in the moment. almost an awakening but unknown to him. its just amazing to be able to see this kind of energy especially in crowd format. all as one, accepting the moment and celebrating it. there is no you and me. there are hugs all around. love and peace. amazing. those WWE crowds or any sports home crowds in general all move and vibe as one. it's amazing. another thing is that top athletes play without thinking that is to say, their bodies do the playing for them (as they always do) but for a regular player like you and I, we would be thinking about playing or getting the ball or shooting or doing a move vs it just "happens" out of routine for them to the ones like us who are aware of what's really going, its amazing to see any top athlete perfrom and knowing its just him being effortless with the slightest of thinking but boy, when that thinking kicks in, it certain can take you down also. same thing with learning anything, you first drive a car, you're 100% focused and trying to drive. was teaching my younger brother last week and noticed how he couldnt even take his eyes brielf off the road to turn the volume up/down vs me now, i am able to text/drive ( i know i shouldnt :P) and i get to my destination not even remembering any turns i made or how i got there sometimes lol also quite noticeable when you look back at learning to ride a bike. all thinking goes away and its your body which gets intuned and rides the bike on its own afterwards. amazing handle the pressure = staying present in the now and not worring about the score, win/lose just thought i'd share/print my thought out loud here
  17. True Can't wait till Leo fully woke as a muhfukka He gonna be dropping 10 hour videos haha
  18. No. Sitting is not required... Or sitting cross legged.... You can sit on the chair, or sit on the floor in a different position other than cross legged The position of your sit/stand has nothing to do with the goal of meditation Just be in comfortable position. That's the main thing.
  19. @oMarcos yup that's one aspect of it Was talking from the absolute perspective as per the theme of this thread And you're welcome <3
  20. @Shin@oMarcos you think your actions are your doing?? Welcome to the forum
  21. @Sahil Pandit wow sure thing hard work + dedication 101 indeed. it goes hand in hand they ultimately work upto this level of state and yes. it cannot happen overnight. the skill and the autonomy must be nurtured to reach that point and all else comes with it the rewards of mastery if you will just like enlightenment - has multiple facets of it
  22. @kieranperez oh, i am not associating them with spirituality lol i was just analyzing what's deeply at play here. sure they don't know a thing about it. just like majority of us don't know the theory of gravity for example but it works all the same for each of us oh, and i know what you mean, they can certainly be arrogant (can't say all of them are) but yeah, a lot of them feel like they have "earned the right" i also watch cricket and lots of players from Asian countries when among their fans consider themselves to be God (there are also humble ones but i get what you mean, yes) sure there is mastery at play there with kobe and others and all. but what's the mastery really? the flow state as Sahil said in his post. it's not worrying or thinking about missing the shot or worring about you missing your last 5 shots even. each shot taken as brand new, as it should be but yeah, i agree with you. it's a diff ball game indeed
