  1. sure all of that is how plus, if there was none of that. then asking of this question. wanting to know the answer. all of that is how you would be drawn in
  2. just want to clarify and understand... when it is said there is no "I", I get there is no questioning entity with it's own awareness/sentience inside of my body or anywhere else in the manifest universe. but whatever is there, is beyond I... it is the only thing which exists and it does have sentience/intelligence . it's the reality as a whole, with awareness and alive presence everywhere, without bound / exception. correct? the "your" in the above line... that is what I am... but that is not this body/mind/thought or the thing asking this question. sure, nothingness is its/mine nature but it is still okay to know/feel that there remains "something" which is nothing but is still "something" but in an unconventional way
  3. Is that the case? That when we are in "flow state" of mind... There is a moment in time afterwards where the ego comes back and being familiar with this concept will say "I was in a Flow State just now" But as Flow State is just like a dreamless dream where there is no mind... does that also impact the memory? I think it does... Often times, when I am on weed, there are moments which go by and then all of a sudden, "I come back" and go like, wth was happening? Who was doing that dance move or jumping up and down like crazy etc... I think Flow States are best noted when one is midly high (IME) and whatever else I may have done when high ... I do not remember it when I get up and am sober next day but a lot of the times, the next time I get high, I then remember stuff that happened or things I did. Same with my friend who I often smoke with. Its like to remember our awareness raises back to that realm and then is able to recall what happened... And when i an sober, thats a lower level of awareness which doesnt remember any of what happened At the same time, the absolute me is present in all those states, witnessing and being all. This also allows me to understand why we dont remember things from when we were very young... Heck... Even when we are 14-15 years old... Thinking back, we lived each second of those days... Yet we only may recall a partial day or event which happened...
  4. @Pure Imagination by becoming aware of that fact that "you" do not stop the monkey-mind. it starts and stops on its own accord.
  5. Yup. I recently had this realization too One thing However is this The fact that one IS or ISN'T able to make peace with that - is also what IS So this realization will dawn when it does And until then, what happens, so happens...
  6. So based on the video. Enlightenment is at step number 7... Yet there are 3 more steps? Was just curious, Who is at #10?? Leo also mentions Osho at the end.. So with all his intellect which is seen... Even he had steps left on the path?? Who are some of the full path masters today? Mooji, spira, adyashanti .. they all talk about non-duality... So they haven't gone deeper it means? Such that they blend in society and all as picture # 10 talks about? Isn't it "wrong" or part of a "story" to assume that unless one is full of humility and living in society while not preaching about non-duality, that they still haven't completed the journey? Also, when one has had full ego death.. how can "they" control what they do and the rest of their journey... Isnt it just how Reality unfolds?? So they may just end up at pic 7 or 8 and then what happens is just satsangs till their body death or whatever.. Another question, leo has asked n mentioned this before but i never seen a precise answer Why is there something rather than nothing? Whats the true illetectuall answer for this whixh can be explained? I presume the real answer must be experienced directly but would like to know for now
  7. @winterknight forwarding a few questions from someone. Why is their evil in this world? Why? Why do I want to punish the punisher? (personal) Why is their injustice and suffering? (don't tell me we are all different thats why...if we are all one then why can't we be the same?)
  8. @winterknight do you think it is fair to say that for you, winterknight, there's no difference between the body-mind having a cup of tea versus watching a movie versus having sex. Each of these separate activities have no distinction from the place where you are watching from. They are just different appearances to you, having the same fundamental a sense of awareness only. ? In other words, for someone who is enlightened there's no preferred state of experience, it is all just experienced, and equally liked. No preference whatsoever, it is all unconditional love and acceptance.
  9. @winterknight I often in my past used to do prank calls, or pranks on people. Now this was something that I just did to amuse myself, for example one time I could be at the mall and while interacting with the sales associate I wouldn't talk in my normal accent or voice, almost like I'm speaking as a character that I'm playing. Now all the while I would be playing this set character and interacting with the person the real me, which in this case I am pointing to the normal day-to-day me, would be aware of the fact that I am just putting on a mask and doing a funny accent or just pretending not to know something for my own entertainment purposes. What do you say that to an enlightened being such as yourself when the body and mind speak is it kind of like the situation I described? Where in the real you is aware of the fact that the body and mind is just the tool which is being used to communicate. I'm not sure what the answer to this question will really bring up out for me, I just figure that as I still do this from time to time it might be a good thing to be watching from my normal state and observing how I play that character or part. And in the process somehow mail so see through my normal day-to-day self. Now as I wrote this a thought occurred to me about why not just do the self inquiry directly, and that's valid. I think but I have no answer for it haha. Anyways thank you
  10. @Leo Gura at what picture would you say you are at right now?
  11. Haven't read the thread yet but this just came to me out of the blue How do we all up come up with the title of the threads lol I mean, sure, how am i coming up with anything i write here But about the title .its like we seeing a few moves ahead and the writie a headline of what we are talking about Sounds lame now as i write this lol But yeah, thought it was cool Reality is effin cool so boom.
  12. @Preetom @winterknight Thank you. Once again it seems the focus is upon brining the attention to the I AM and detach and not get caught in the choices..thank you Also, another thing which i have noticed that even thoughts can be / are " trained " to respond and act a certain way For example, someone with low consiousness might not think twice before identifying heavily with the unfavorable situation and becoming angry as a result Someone who has done practice of being mindful might take a step back, become aware and then allow the anger to pass much easily. Its like the thought which comes to the aid of the one with the training/conditioning is out of anyone's control but if observed, its being there is subject to having contemplated about the nature of thoughts. So the path unravels and evolves on its own. Or rather, path is seen to evolve Ans then again, what is a path?
  13. @Serotoninluv hmmmm still can't quite seem to grasp it... Is this a major step in the path to become aware of ? And quite a difficult one? I havent done much deeper inquiry yet about it so just wondering... And also whay are some.implications of embodying this realizations? Is this a realization alongside seeing of no-self illusion? Or a bit lower on the scale?
  14. @winterknight I feel like the ego maybe playing a trick? I recently stumbled upon the no free will concept and my ego seems to have taken a liking to it , to use in tough moments and also then it seems sneakily to be using it to allow egoic.desires or cravings. Like wanting to drink pepsi when i have made an effort to quit my craving for it and eat and be healthy So when I somehow end up drinking it again (lol), it's due to my ego's answer when i have a moment of thought prior to drinking it. About reminding myself i would not drink it and then next thought about free will.comes and says relax, you are not in control, let whatever happens happen, it is ultimately all just appearing to you. At this point the ego jumps in and says, see no worries, relax, lets drink that Pepsi, you know you are just aware of it. It's the body mind thats drinking etc... So how do.i. overcome this impass of the no free will which seems to be stepping in for me for the wrong egoic needs and justifications.
  15. @Serotoninluv one thing I try to understand it in a way. Tell me what part am i missing? Everything is one thing... Whatever you imagine isnt it because what you imagining is a part of it, and part cannot capture the whole I dont understand the " = " Why does it equal nothing? I try think and it seemed to make sense that everything is contained in "nothing/no-thing" "Contained in..." I dont quite grasp how it "equals" to nothing instead? Everything = nothing ?
  16. @Leo Gura thanks for the clarification Metaphor sounds good I see also that this is the ego really trying to figure it out to make sure it will be given what is promised but of course the reward will not be accepted by the ego... It will br accepted on behalf of the ego by the SELF And hmmm, again if the enlightenment/awakening is at stage 4.. i guess it yet again then fully depends on circumstances and conditioning of the One in regards to how deep they go and how much their understanding deepens. @Joseph Maynor thank you. Yes. I went back and searched "god awareness" and read many of your other posts Loved it Kinda visualized the god Awareness is a transparent smoke in a physical construct of reality.
  17. @non_nothing so damn true!! But for me it was seen that this desire to talk about it and return to the forum was strong and here i am lol But yes, when that suddenly dawns upon you. Best is to remain in that for long
  18. @Joseph Maynor also. I remembered you during watching his video. Finally grasped what you talk about often in your posts The God Awareness! It's like the entire Construct of the cosmos is the physical manifest of all that is which can ultimately be thought of as the infinite awareness/creation of God <3
  19. @Strikr lol it's epic knowing that too is possible Let me know if it works. Down to tag team this with you
  20. @Anton Rogachevski do you understand, intellectually, that there is no particular moment in which you "let go" of self control vs not "let go" of it? All of your doing since your "birth" has been out of "your" control. The "your" is referring to your ego self. The same ego self who has many times "chosen" what to order from a menu.
  21. @Preetom @Preetom wow@winterknight thank you That was great preetom The lost in the jungle analogy. Spot on. Bless you. Bless Spira too
