@Salvijus Hahaha This one got me good lol @OmniYoga brah... Let's try it this way. How about... Instead of saying that "you're not the body", we say "you're not just the body... But you're also Everything else in your experience." Yes. You're not consious of the floor right now like you're consious of your body. But see also that you feel the floor also in the way you do with your body... as your feet are placed upon the floor, you feel the floor as much as you feel your feet. It is as if you are touching your thumb with your finger. You can alternate the awareness from thumb to the finger but you are also feeling them both simultaneously You're not just the body... You're Everything which means you are very much your body! And YOU are beyond it. -

@kieranperez i didn't find anything i could directly reference based on your post however, as per your title Is the universe just a mind/thought of God? yes. that can be said. it is the thought/mind of God materialized into ALL THIS/Existence. and also, "mind" "thought" "god" (yes, God also) these are just concepts/ideas - in that, there isn't anything like this in "real" so-to-speak... but yes, your title of this thread is a fair analogy and that's all it is at the end of the day, analogy. read it, get it, let it go kinda like that song. Breathe, Stretch, Shake, Let It Go Let it Go -

that is correct in a way. everything exists and it does not exist both existence and non-existence is true from certain perspective so each living breathing moment is a "paradox" in that it exists and doesn't and that is life. a paradox -
SoonHei replied to Aakash's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Aakash just dont feel embarassed to return know that it is what must happen and if what's happening must happen, then it is according to plan kinda like rupert spira... after stumbling upon spirituality. he thought that his love for art/painting/glass work etc is something he has to let go of... until he finally understood it and then it was like oh, i dont have to let it go and all same with you dont think when you are enlighted or whatever. you no longer need to come or not come to the forum there are no rules! dont bind yourself in a cage and restrict yourself for no reason you are free so be free and roam the internet or not -
Kinda like the famous picture of duck + rabbit illusion. If you ask a question, what animal is in the picture and give following choices, then they are all correct, depending on the point of view. A) rabbit B) duck C) neither Any such examples? I am sure there are many.. not sure what topic/theme to search it with... And not picture realated? Any that can just be with words/concepts? Thanks

Unsure if this is a big leap... But is the whole deal just to know and as a result deny association with yourself.? I have heard this before (from the start of course) but it's a bit more clearer... I had a thought and just kinda wondered and inquired into the fact that if i am always here and the body/mind isn't me... Then it is simply this SoonHei who has been trying meditation, doing practices etc My whole falling away attachment and strong ties to deeper feelings/emtoions and situations of SoonHei's life now makes sense. I have always been here the whole time... But just literally, right where you are... We are to deny identification with body+mind+story haha! (which really just means recognizing this fact and thus denial isn't a "doing"... It just "happens") The line from ramana which says that just the ignorance needs to be destroyed is making full on sense! Also... It's kinda like... Okay... What now? Haha Another thing. Reading up on the forum about Experiences.. or listening to satsang videos and Various non-dual teachers just seems absolute repeat of same info.. it was desriable at one time and now it has fallen away Even frequenting the forum is a bit less Again. All seemingly playing out before me! There is a simplicity and ordinaryness to this whole thing... But something seems very powerful about it as well There is causeless laughter in moments of clear seeing

@Shaun hmmm One way to overcome a fear is to face it, head on. Infact, that's really the only way, the permanent way. Sure, you can also forget about a fear but it isn't permanent... Because who knows whether you encounter it or its memory again. With that being said, just also know, (like you know and are really considering the possibility that you maybe reborn somewhere in a hellish warzone place... Be tortured etc) that all you will be forced to face all your fears and many other fears you're not even aware of. There is no running away from it... And find peace in the possibility of being able to see the fear as an illusion and getting rid of the one who fears it as well... then what's left? You are. -
SoonHei replied to Shaun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This fear of yours is of Shaun's and not YOURs... Does an actor ever say in an interview that he is afraid to play a character who will be tortured or whatever? No! Because from the actor's point of view and understanding what is there to fear about an unreal movie. Hope this helps. -
SoonHei replied to Shaun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shaun the implication of Oneness is that YOU are already that child killed by ISIS and you are also the one killing that child as ISIS. Keep in mind. "Shaun" will not come back into existence. Once he dies, that's it... Shaun is the body+mind... A mask. YOU on the other hand, is the one who wears the mask. You're the wearer of all masks. Just know this. The thing looking out and being aware out of your eyes right now is the same thing which is looking out of my eyes right now... It's like an actor/character relationship. Leonardo DiCaprio plays Jack (Titanic) and also plays Cobb (inception) and so on etc... Don't confuse Shaun to be the one who will be playing other roles. In your case, Shaun is like Jack/Cobb and awareness/God is Lrobardo DiCaprio -

Imagine you're reading a novel which is endless. You may say as you finish reading one book, the author publishes the next chapter in the series and so on... Imagine you have got an infinite capacity to read without taking any breaks, so this allows you to read these books non-stop to the end of time. Now, you start reading this book and it is written from a self referential point of view of the main character of book. You continue reading it book after another... So much so that you crossed a point of inflection where in you now believe (100%) that you are the main character of the story you're reading. Emotionally, mentally, full on end. Almost like we often get lost in the movies we watch and they can make us feel real and deep emotions like crying, horror, laughter. So you're connected in this book and the character in that way, except this is 100% and all the way thru (you have been reading the book for years now without stopping a second) The character of the book which you take that to be... Can he (that character) ever know who you are? That character is nothing but words on pages... You bring life into the character by reading it and in this case having forgotten you're the reader and not the character being read about and known by you. This is what your life is like. You do not have a mind. You are the seer-er of a mind And in your case, you are the see-er of your character's/ego's mind. This person who thinks using the I-thoughts does not exist. It is simply energy seen and known by you. As words are read and known by the reader of a book As such, infinte unbounded energy is known/felt by God And since God is the very container of this energy and he exists as nothingness himself, then this implies the energy and the knower of it are one! And you are that knower! In infinte minds. You are empty space. And empty space exists everywhere. 99% of matter is empty space... And it is truly 99.999999% which in mathematics is equal to 100% empty. Thus, the substance of Everything is emptiness. And you are that emptiness which also is not separate from the Everything it contains. -
As words written on paper are read and known by us. Infinte energy (as science confirms, cannot be created or destroyed) which is spread in infinte space is read and known by God. And where is God? He is the paper on which energy is written (appears.) ♥ Who is the writer (creator) of the energy? What is the energy _written_ (Made of) by? What is used to _write_ (create) the energy? Who is the energy _read_ (known/sensed/felt) by? And by whose process does the energy _write itself/plot advance_ (move/time) is it written by? ... Infinte intelligence, writing an infinitely linked energetic play which we know as Reality. Infinte interconnected fractal/fabric of space/time. The answer to all is God God is the paper, the words on it, the lead used to write it, the writing process and the writer and the reader of both the story, the story's point of view and the one that knows it outside of the story's plot. All ONE.

@Leo Gura love it -
If you are looking at something and you do not see the beauty in it, you've got a certain preference which you are holding it to. There is infinte beauty in everything... And that's what Love is. Seeing someone or something with no expectations or pre-supposed notions about them. Unconditional acceptance. Unconditional Love. All Love is unconditional, there is only unconditional love and infinte beauty.

@Paul92 You tell me u speak 2 languages... I then asked you How did u learn to speak 4 languages Here u saw clearly the flaw in my question. Right? How can i ask u if u speak 4 languages when u have told me u speak 2 You see? Same deal. Asking "how was god created... Or who created God" is invalid in the same sense... Because here what's being said is God is uncreated How can something which is uncreated and exists eternally have a creator I wanted you to see this , Ergo i asked that language question. Apart from all these words. You are able to confirm directly about God Just like words cannot explain to you how a certain fruit, which u have never tasted before, tastes like... U need to eat it to really know it. Same with God. U cannot understand God by words... Only via direct knowing. -
SoonHei replied to Anton_Pierre's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Something cannot just always exist... Only God can. There is no answer which can be understood by the mind / words pertaining to God. The answer to your question (in words) is just simply God is not something and thus beyond a limitation/explanation for having existed without cause and eternally. And the 13.6Billion years ago is just the timeline of this particular universe/dream (as we know it today) science keeps changing its theories... Even this big bang concept may be and will be changed/evolved. God is beyond 13.6 billion years. God is timeless. Also, how did you learn 4 languages? School or on your own? @Paul92 -
SoonHei replied to Anton_Pierre's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Paul92 so the question "who created God/Nothingness?" is invalid. @Paul92 btw, how many languages do you speak?
