@winterknight felt like i was always on the path towards this was very puzzled by the eternal nature of God... "how can it be possible... that God has ALWAYS existed... without a start... how was he just there... BAM" that was at younger age... stayed religious and practicing... but science/physics/math pulled me aside... that led to my interest in space-science-universe/enistetin/quantum mechanics etc. i had always maintained God to be in the background of the design of the universe however... i would say that God is the architect of evolution (after having learned and seeing beyond doubt that evolution is how humans came about vs being up there in heaven and placed here on earth) anyhow. was on the science's front for a while... had Cantor-esq obsession with size/infinty and used to watch videos about that online.. and one day a certain search led me to watch leo's Absolute infintity video... and God and scienece came together and became ONE ever since. coupled that with a few crazy experiences of my own to see and know that the universe is not material and all is consciousness challeneges: nothing short term or long really.. just thoughts here and there about future/finances/health... i have usually naturally remained not a very big planner, try to live on the daily/now.. i have began to simply trust and feel the connection with god and ever since these discoveries. life only gets easier and easier and no such word/feel as suffering in my brain whatsoever ...

@The Blind Sage what i can tell you... there are NO requirements or prerequisites for awakening. it can happen without an ounce of an effort and sometimes it may not happen after all the effort in the world in truth, it does not happen by "doing" anything in particular. to say you can do X to cause awakening is not correct. it's like saying you can talk to a character in the movie via your tv screen.

They can be anything... but each is distinct. The meaning you give is the meaning you will create. In knowing this, why would you ever create a negative meaning Only positive. Only Love. You Smile and Your World (which is 100% your reflection) has NO OTHER OPTION but to mimic that & smile back. and while on this journey, know that there are time when things in the world may still not go to your preference - know that at some level that is what you're putting out and that is why it is being reflected back. yes. of course. there is not trying to get rid of thoughts. there is simply the knowing of yourself which results in the complete elimination of negative thoughts. quietening down of the monkey

@How to be wise sure you gotta break a the habit ergo, notice each time you're having the negative thought. once you become aware of it. you have the power of removing it. accepting it. loving it to its destruction of course, we are all at a certain level on the path. some need to do more work, some less... but the laws remain and apply the same. weather consciously or unconsciously

You think Up a Story in your mind. Not written out but you play it in your mind. A love story... You think up a character and you, yourself have the point of view of the world with that character. Say, Charles. In this imaginary world, you live and interact with others and the world as Charles. Now you think up other aspects of his life and so on... You go so much in depth and then you string up a Love affair for Charles with Cindy They both fall in Love deeply. All this being thought up by you. The longing Charles feels to be with Cindy whenever they are apart in this imaginary world in your head is so intense and powerful as they are totally in Love. You get so deeply engrossed in this that you forget you are you and instead think that you are Charles... And one day, in the story in your head, Charles and Cindy are far apart and Charles longing for Cindy's love is so deep that it is hurting him... He's deeply suffering from it... And then, In an instant you recall and snap out of the context of your story/imagination in your mind. You remember you're imagining it all up ! this play of Charles and Cindy! You also simultaneously understand that Charles' loves for Cindy is nothing but your love for yourself for you are also Cindy! And all other characters you thought up during that imagination/dream. You're the entire cosmos which Charles is a part of. And you exist in the universe and interact with via Charles' eyes and body. With this sudden clarity, beyond doubt, you're then able to live and create the story as you please. You now remember and live by the knowledge of your true place in Charles' world... See and know that you are the creator... Intimately in and as Charles in his world while simultaneously out of his World. ♥ Be still and KNOW I Am God.

that is just the wiser version of you. that something deeper in which you want to tap in will also be you. i know what you are trying to say, that a higher power takes it over and then all is well... that can be done as well, as surrender but then it must be true surrender... not even having attachment to the process... for there is no process, there's only what's next and you must surrender it all... but before that can happen, you gotta carve your way there. it takes hard work but wisen up you will perfect. exactly and check out those videos i posted. will tie it up nicely for you. believing in free will vs no free will will truly do nothing for you @Wisebaxter it's just a belief or concept you will hold just like if i were to tell you today that scientist have discovered a cubed shaped moon of Jupiter... sure, it's one more piece of concept/knowledge you hold. what does it change for you on the day to day? so don't worry about free will vs no free will as far as your living of the life is concerned you always have felt you decide what you do or not do to think about and start this topic and what to write in it... sure you can also come to see that it's a natural flow but your living experience shows you free will and choice. so go with that with this, you can learn to always strive to do the best you can but not be attached with the end result. what is meant to happen will happen. as long as you're happy you have given it your best, then that's all you need to do. if you get what you want at the end of the day, good and if not, then also good because it's not meant to be... not destined to be no free will from the POV of GOD watching the play of Life but free will from your daily living POV combine the two as such and you're good to go
