SoonHei replied to The Don's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Mikael89 reborn is simply falling for the illusion again. death of the body will get you that, yes... the soul/impersonal consciousness looking thru another set of eyes. the impersonal consciousness, once it recognizes and knows itself, is free from being reborn... that just means, it will then-on be eternally aware of what is real and what is not. so it will still be reborn as form, but it will be lucid. imagine someone who has mastered that art of lucid dreaming so when they go to bed at night. they are ready and know they are about to dream and then in that dream, they party it uppppppppppp -

SoonHei replied to The Don's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@The Don dying may feel like one of those dreams where you fall down the stairs or fall in general and then instantly wake up in your bed. in other words, there is no BLANK moment. there's always the next frame of experience. YOU always exist (the soul) The Don, however... well, The Don YOLO -
SoonHei replied to Schahin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Schahin a thief breaks into your house and is stealing your stuff. if you think that taking responsibility = grabbing a bat and beating him down and calling the cops and if you think that just witnessing = standing there, just letting him steal your stuff then you're once again confused. the taking responsibility and witnessing are NOT for the same person to decide between. SCHAHIN MUST always take responsibility of his life. if he decides to witness, he will simply watch his house being emptied as the thief does his thing. The one who witnesses has NO OTHER OPTION, but to witness and is always witnessing. there's no choosing involved. in other words, if you think that you SCHAHIN gets to be the witness, you're wrong. SCHAHIN can move towards being in a peaceful state which will bring him closer and closer to being and as a result, acting accordingly to his true nature of the Witness. how he can do this is by choosing action, not reaction. not to ask for his BAG OF ROCKS (worry) in all circumstances of life. worry does nothing to change the oncoming truck as you cross the road. the quick action to jump out of the way however will save your life - taking responsibility. watch this video (2 mins): -

@Jkris there is no 'how' 'how' inplies a process. How does Tom Hanks rid his sense of being Forrest Gump? Is there really a 'how' involved? Or does he simply stop being Forrest Gump and become Tom Hanks the next moment? Is it when the director says "CUT"? The point is, you simply start living from the understanding that you're the Self. Stop identifying with your egoic thoughts. This is difficult because you will be pulled into your character JKRIS over and over again but overtime you will get better at catching yourself... Whether you're identified as JKRIS or your true Self. Now the very tricky part is that, there isn't really any action on YOUR part whatsoever... It's almost like you're being reminded that while you're alive and living, that is in the form of JKRIS and only that. You have to be careful that JKRIS doesn't start acting as if he is the Self... That would be as if Forrest Gump is acting as if He's Tom Hanks... Only Tom Hanks can be and is Tom Hanks. So simply, let happen, what happens, simply stop identifying with the story. This is where u need to let go and let go untill you naturally won't identify with the story or content... Like you have let go of your love for Toys as you loved them as a kid you don't now. Same way, you let go until you're absolutely free from all attachment. Stop identifying with the voice in your head. That's the ego/JKRIS -

SoonHei replied to krockerman's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@krockerman what you must understand is this: whichever way it works, KROCKERMAN is NOT the one who reincarnates. If you watch movies, here's how to understand it. Forrest Gump (KROCKERMAN) did not reincarnate and play other parts in other movies. That was Tom Hanks (SOUL) What you must see and understand that you're asking the question as Forrest Gump. Forrest Gump will always be Forrest Gump... not Kim Jon Ung, Pewdiepie, Julien Blanc. The Soul is what reincarnates and what you're being told is that there is only ONE SOUL in existence. and it plays all parts. So yes, technically YOU are already Pewdiepie, Julien Blanc... but the YOU which is Pewdiepie & Julien Blanc is the SOUL! (Tom Hanks/Actor) Not KROCKERMAN (Forrest Gump/Character). -
SoonHei replied to krockerman's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@krockerman he means that the perfect life means the one you are smiling in. now, the smile has to be authentic. now like faking a smile in front of someone because you want them to think all's well and also not like a smile while someone is holding a gun to your back and asking you to keep quite and smile like all's well. the smile has to be like any autehtic, genunie smile. felt inside of you and that you smile without first thinking i am going to smile. now, about what he means by "when you finally decide to" he means in one sense that the perfect life is like a reflection in the mirror. you do not find the perfect life and then go to that and THEN smile as a result... no no no... since it is a reflection in the mirror... i ask you this. is it wise for someone to wait for their reflection in the mirror to smile? to say, i will smile when my reflection smiles? THE REFLECTION IS YOU! so you must smile first! you must decide to be happy... JUST BY SAYING AND FEELING THAT YOU ARE! TRUST IT! like if there was a disease you had and then you were told that there's finally a pill which came out and all you need to do is take 1 of it and you will be disease free. you will take it and be totally free of the worry. because you will TRUST that pill to solve your disease. like the well-known placebo effect. it is their willpower/faith/trust that cures. not the sugar pill they eat. so trust this above method as that pill. know that when you, at your core, start to feel happy and be happy and start smiling (not faking it... although, it may start like that, but then blossoms into the real deal) then your reflection in the mirror must also smile... the perfect life is created, not found. you are the creator of that life you want so badly... but you will never have it, if you're waiting for it your outter world is mirrored by what you're doing internally. if you're waiting, the mirror is reflecting a waiting face if you believe you got it, the mirror shows a happy face and slowly but surely your life will magically transform say YES to life. take chances. and believe that all is for the better. that is all. believe your dream into existence by knowing that the mirror-mechanics are at work. YOU MUST SMILE FIRST! The reflection will never smile unless you are smiling. and very important. FEEL THAT SMILE/JOY/HAPPINESS. -

SoonHei replied to AlphaAbundance's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
let those go... both are concepts/ideas. what is in awareness can have an answer like CAT and what is aware can have an answer like ME/I and those are just words... they don't help you. words are just sounds in your mind. and what you're after is a feeling/knowing... like when you feel heat if you accidentally touch a hot plate. you FEEL/KNOW it... not just know THIS IS HOT... but FEEL THAT IT IS SO... FEEL WHAT YOU CALL HOT so, as nahm said in the other thread, YOU ARE TO FEEL IT! not about knowing conceptually / or thru thoughts: what is aware or who you are. -
SoonHei replied to AlphaAbundance's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@AlphaAbundance nothing changes. just your perception changes. you see my avatar. is it 2 faces or a vase in the middle? enlightenment is like going from seeing the 2 faces to seeing the vase. what you're looking at does not change. how you view it, changes. so there won't be fireworks... or there might be... if it occurs during a fireworks show you can also think of it like being in a dream and then realizing you're in the dream. nothing in that instant of the realization will change except for your perception/understanding... that what you were just seeing / experiencing as REAL is only a dream, and you're in your bed dreaming it all up. except when this happens in your waking state... there is no fall back position to a bed on which you're sleeping... that's what Leo says when he talks about a groundless reality. you exist in no-place and no-where... and what can exist in no-place and no-where and still BE NOTHING and that's what you are. Not-A-Thing which takes up space or has any weight, form, color or any attribute. you're a cosmic blank canvas which holds the capacity for all reality. you're like this white background on which this black text appears. you're everywhere! -

@Jkris Illusion of separateness Nothing fancy there... As it reads: the separateness is an illusion. Meaning it seems to be the case, but it isn't. Like an optical illusion. It seems to be a certain way but in reality it is not. The illusion of separateness is talking about there being a 'separate entity' who experiences the world. In truth, there is the totality of the experience, one thing, like your dream at night. While in the dream, there is a dream person making dream choices and doing dream things with other dream persons and objects. The reality of it is that it was all one mind/thing - your dream. All interconnected and one. It was all simply KNOWN by you, the experience+experiencer. Reality is always seen from a higher view. Same way. With this current waking experience, the reality of it is that there isn't a separate entity 'Jkris' who makes choices or thinks thoughts. There's an unfolding of the experience which includes a Jkris having thoughts - all of which is known by YOU (awareness) As the Reality of the dream was that a sleeping Jkris was the Single Knower and the creater of the one-connected-dream world... The Reality of this current waking experience is that AWARENESS alone is the knower+creator of this single-infintely conntected-reality. All the I-Thoughts are just that... Thoughts. There is no thinker of them. Only a knower of thoughts. That knower is YOU (awareness) but YOU confuse Yourself as the thinker of the thoughts (you may call the thinker Jkris) There is simply a stream of thoughts flowing thru, and there is an intelligence to them as well. But you're not the thinker, nor the thoughts... You're only the Knower of them. There is only the illusion of there being a separate Jkris (body+mind) But that Jkris is One with the world/environment in which he appears - appears and is known all by You (awareness) And yet, Jkris/the world is none other than yourself as you're the only thing in existence. If the world/jkris is the flower then you're its perfume/fragrance. ONE -

SoonHei replied to Shaun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shaun there's nothing to fix! that's the natural state there isn't 2 things happening. it is one. your judgement / thought about it is what creates the illusion of separateness it has always been this way. you just identified with the thought/thinker/feeler of the sensation but the feeling of the sensation IS the sensation and YOU are that. ONE thing. NOT TWO! you're asking for a how-to on unenlightenment and if this really is something which you want to fix... just let it be and it will fix itself. you were never in a position to do anything... had you been, do you recall having done this? it will go as it came, on it's own, in due time. what you can do in the meantime, is relax in this knowing. -
SoonHei replied to Shakazulu's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shakazulu there is no devil... from a certain perspective. just like there is really no bad guy in a movie... it's an actor playing a role. but the bad guy exists inside the movie's world/plot and devil exists in the dualistic world. and yes, being human means there's got to be survival at some level -
SoonHei replied to Solvinden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Solvinden you don't have to let go the I-thought entirely... only those aspects of it which are broken... the parts which tell you that you're not worth it, or are a failure etc... like an actor who makes movies... he drops the I of the last character he did and adopts a new one... but the shell is mostly similar. work with that initially and the rest shall come. -
SoonHei replied to IndigoGeminiWolf's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@DualityHurts indeed and well, even right now... before the elusive no-self state, the thoughts do not belong to anyone the idea that i'm thinking these thoughts is a thought -
SoonHei replied to IndigoGeminiWolf's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
yes. but it highlights the futility in trying to fix/correct knowing the teaching notes that you cannot put fire out with gasoline. wanting to correct situation, end seeking/suffering is what keeps it going knowledge is heard and known but dismissed... and rolled over
