  1. @tentacion simple look at a non-tripping example an optical illusion you remember that "The Dress" meme a couple of years back some saw the colors gold and white and others saw blue and black how do you explain that? the truth is. it's all relative it's just different point of views all are true for the observer who is seeing it as such click the TRUTH link in my signature to understand this.
  2. that's what ego death does from LSD/Ayushcha/DMT - whichever way you have ego death or a breakthrough dose. you remember and come back to this current adult life. you are literally reborn but with the knowledge you can now better remember because you are not a baby being born but an adult being reborn. thats why so many people after breakthrough dose have a life change because they now "get it"
  3. @Your place at Heart exactly. agreed 100% with what you said. all teachings are contemporary ...
  4. @Edogowa Conan There is no single true religion You don't yet understand what exactly prophet Muhammad was... You and I can also reach that level of awareness by the grace of God and if you're willing to put in the work So all many religions... You want the truth? You can say the religions are different paths to the same destination. Which path is more true vs the other? Doesn't matter. All point to the same destination. It's a different method of solving a problem Or like having a different name in each language for the same object Example , car In Urdu it is gaari In Arabic it is siaara You get the point I understand what you mean when u say Islam is the truth. I am a Muslim so I tell you this... That isn't the right question to ask. As you are here on this forum, I invite you to explore and expand you awareness. You vein here already means you're not like a typical Muslim What you also will realize you did not need to become a non-muslim per say.. anyways. Best of luck
  5. Here's a mind eff Just like when you sit in silence and then there is any sound around you... Your ears pick up the sound and you hear it If there is a scent. Ur nose smells it Whatever appears in front of your eyes you see it You sense your body as it sits down, you feel it etc Now. This is hard to grasp But this is the reality of it THOUGHTS. Whatever that is. They also appear IN THE EXACT same way something might appear in your vision as you sit in a park. A bird for example. Did you "cause" or create that bird and then saw it? No. You just became aware of it Same way. Thoughts appear. What we say, do, think about Just appears All your mind does is sense these thoughts and you become aware of them. Sure the mistake we all make and continue to make is association with the thought because it feels closer than close and is different compared to the rest of the senses. Its the Same as you do with becoming aware of sound Aware of sight Smell Taste Feel/sense It is difficult to understand because of the intimate nature of thought... Occurring "inside" us... Like in "my head" And of course there is the feeling of controlling what I am thinking about and deciding , choosing etc KNOW THAT IT IS APPARENT. Meaning it appears to be that way. When you meditate long nuff. U start to see that thougts just stream and appear. Out of your control. You merely are observing them.
  6. This can be very tricky One thing you have to understand that this is the LAW of attraction. To compare, take in the LAW of gravity. You do not know what the understood mechanic/physics of general relativity by Einstein yet the gravity also applied to you. Same way, the LAW of attraction is always in motion. You literally create your whole experience/world around you. Most of it is via you sub-consious... Now it is not as simple as wanting something, deeply thinking about it and then boom you get it... It's much more complex than that, you're trying here to figure out something which is already in play... Trying to hack it so to speak will be a challenge... Sure that joint on the ground was law of attraction in play. But will it happen this way every time? Likely not... However notice when it does happen, that splash of emotion you feel in your gut, that confirmation that you receive... Notice how powerful that is That's why people say that start with something minor and as you build your skill by getting that manifest for you in reality. Your skill/strength will build up allowing you to do it more effectively and understandably. So those videos may seem cringy (they can be if one doesn't believe in it or has no experience about this) but those videos are guiding you correctly Check em out. Start applying. It's not an overnight thing. Keep that in mind. @Andre Quinonez
  7. I'm a Muslim. I can't speak for the masses but I can tell you this. Most prayer is done with recitation of the same verses. In Arabic. Majority of the Muslim don't even know what the words mean. They have it memorized. It's a quick blind activity for most. Even those who commit n prayer 5 times a day and haven't missed a day Their awareness will have been the same as it was 10-20 years ago They do the practice thinking the practice itself is giving them positive points of good deed n offset any sin points. That's the prayer in action in a nut shell for you Now looking back, I truly feel that if this practice is done mindfully then it's amazing. You get the excersice (yoga-arab style) and connection with God if done so with the right understanding and really being deeply in it and also understanding what is being said
  8. @deci belle thank you. i agree. the more in line with true nature one is . the more effortless all the action happens.
  9. One thing I came to know during a sit was this Any addiction one is trying to quit has to be done when the craving is here Question one should ask themselves is do I want to stop this addiction? If the answer is yes, don't do that thing in the moment when the craving arises What we tend to do (especially me) is that we tell ourselves, ok, I'll do it the last time now/today, and won't do it again after this. And this is repeated continuously Exactly this way What one needs to realize is that if they want to stop the addiction/action, then there CANNOT be a concession of a "last time". it MUST end NOW. Not the next time it arises... no more "one last time" excuse. Another thing is this, when I watch my ego with my awareness and come to see the tricks of the ego... I am able to guide myself out of that trap and not get angry or involved in the moment However, i am curious.. Is this not what you call a spiritual ego? The noticing itself is noticed .. so when I am guiding myself by watching the ego in these moments... Is that really authentic? Or this IS the way to do it? As we get more aware, we are still living as an ego but now it's less deluded? How to avoid a trap here thinking that I have finally got it .watch my thoughts... Let go... Be present, don't project or worry... Etc... All this is itself watched... Does persistence give ultimately show the glimpse from the first order point of view?
  10. Thank you @Preetom This was great! Love it. Lol. That's one motivation to become self realized @BuddhaTree yup. That's a spin I try to work with as well. Often time that shows a loophole otherwise unseen.
  11. @Flammable or is it rather that until "you" realize that there is ONLY ONE watcher who watches all these apparent watchers its the elusive experience of this understanding which needs to come forward somehow in your direct experience
  12. being authentic... could that be defined loosely as any action which is reflective of the "truth" and it isn't being driven by a personal desire, want, need? not to say that one should give up those 100% from the get go. but i think this is to be applied and questioned when making a decision leading to a fork in the road. choosing the option after questioning it honestly and really seeing what is ego driven and what is more authentic..
  13. i defintiely get great insights during my w33d highs but i think the balance between fun/spirtual work on weed for me is 50/50 the side effects of w33d which i categorize as fun include, binge eating bad food, reproductive activities and other distractions which my ego sneakily tells me is spirtual work but i tend to be all over the place and not always be contemplating looking back, i had come to the conclusion at one point that i'd get the food and other urges out of the way during the inital high and leave the remainder of it to contemplte. which was good. but then i got stuck on the process wherein weed is good for me cuz of the spirtual work so i will keep doing it. but it came with this other 50% fun baggage which is full distraction / desire / personal pleasure... gotta be careful . if you are truly being honest with yourself and use it just for spirtual work. then it's good - be aware of the sneakyness of the ego. it gets you good. aka you can delude yourself like a champ for years/months!
  14. @deci belle @DrewNows thank you for the input and yeah, i guess it can't be helped but be this way. while the true nature is not yet realized. one has to / is always operating via ego but the degree of delusion can be lower and the degree of authenticity can be raised while working as the ego
  15. Haven't read the full post yet but that part got me.good . The bolded/underlined part. It's like THAT is the ego right there already laying the foundation. It has to be caught of right there and then in the moment. It's almost like not writing it down because you know now that you have seen thru it more deeply, that trick won't get you anymore... It is very subtle indeed wow.
  16. Who was aware? I was walking down a sidewalk and asked myself, who was aware of whatever occurred 10 seconds ago as I am walking. And so on, time after time The answer was felt, very briefly It's like the understanding and insights received are read/processed via the mind. Mind is a tool for the REAL SELF to witness the thoughts of the body. But the real self makes the mistake of thinking it IS the tool itself. In reality It's merely s tool to witness a certain sense thinking of the ego... peeking thru the possibilities of intelligence/understanding. But this question was a headshake for me to think about it this way. Looks like I have lost the bit of it which was very clear in the moment vs now a bit cloudy. Either way, it was a good understanding by asking the question this way. Requires the thinking back in time (in the NOW) and understood in the NOW .
  17. @Jack River my dude!!! How do you live now? You are always Living and talking and preaching from the NOW? and even the talking/thinking/understanding you do, it's all from a place where YOU are watching and not doing anything?
  18. @Jack River Then what remains? Does the phsycoligical time not continue after this too? I mean you are writing this reply and all? I guess you are doing so and since that instant flash of the insight, you have been 100% aware of the movement. No falling back to the illusion?
  19. @Jack River you state that seeing holistically the nature of effort is key to all this. What practices or contemplation led you to this? How can I try to think about this or see thru this illusion?
  20. @Pouya yes, that is correct. but "loosening of attention" is easier said than done. he further defines it as a relaxation of a doing the example he uses which I like is that of a clenched fist. that is how we are right now. in order to clench a fist, it requires a doing/action. we are already doing that - which is what the attention on objects/everything is. to loosen this attention from objects and collapse it onto itself requires that one "stop" clenching the fist - notice how that is NOT a doing or an action but a RELAXATION of an effort/action/doing. so in your quest to discover and uncover, somehow, someway, you will get closer and closer to the truth until it finally all clicks and the attention collapses onto itself. a DEEP PROFOUND realization needs to be had you could say. no doing is required, rather a deep existential understanding. another example is of a movie actor, acting out a sad scene / story and forgetting he is in actor and is actually suffering while he acts out that scene... what does he need to do to realize that he isn't the character he is playing in the movie, he is the actor who does not exist in the world of the character? he needs to "do" nothing nothing but realize that he is already the actor outside of the character's world realize that he's made the mistake of identifying with the character in the movie. simply this.
  21. @Pouya when you go to sleep and have a dream - whatever & wherever that dream world/reality appears inside is 100% the same space where your current waking state is appearing inside. call it mind space call it IOEFJWIOEJF naming it doesn't matter know that it is the same with this contrast. YOU ARE THE FORMLESS perceiving itself @Pouya is one of the infinite point of views/experiences that the ONE FORMLESS is having. you just happen to be the lucky one peeking out of @Pouya eye's / perspective
  22. @Pouya you're on the right track keep in mind, there isn't a more or less "accurate" version as you say with the dog vision, eagle vision, human vision etc... reality is 100% what you see it to be there isn't a main fully constructed super real reality which can be seen with say an infinte resolution vision or somthing... there is just nothingness which appears in various forms you can say that form/vision which appears depends on the tool being used to look out from... dog's eyes, human's eyes etc better way to say what it is would be to think of a screen with tiny blank pixels and they are colored in accordingly - in infinite ways, rendering what you / I experieince, animals etc... reality is an illusion indeed - but it's deeper than what you're talking about. the whole construct exists in "mind space" it's all a thought/dream of ONE GRAND CONSCIOUSNESS
  23. all enlightened masters say the same thing. there is no free will. there is no doer-ship. etc... it makes sense from their current viewing pov - of no self. while the common man / seeker is living in the illusion, the free will is there 100% one cannot say that if enlightenment happens (no self is realized) that it was all by grace and not their own doing. it is essential to note that our true self which is always present is 100% what we are right now, living as the ego. the true self, though, present, suffers as it has associated itself with the body-mind. the realizations/understandings which occur bring about the next series of thoughts/experience. all the while, the sense of doer-ship is there and it must be exercised as such and the work put in to seek / see-thru the illusion. it is only after the illusion is seen thru can we say it was an autonomous happening all along. However, just as there is the experience and living out of the life in duality while in the ego mode, there is also an actual living out of the free will. IT IS AN ILLUSION yes - but that's the workings of it. you have to steer the wheel and guide the flow, where the flow goes depends on your steering. you have that free will and control over it. this is a very crucial point often overlooked / misunderstood, especially when one hears from the sages that there is no-doer of actions or thinker of thoughts (that point of view is relative from where they are vs where you currently are)
  24. @Shiva LOLOL @Jack River time comes to a stop = ego death = non-dual realization = seeing thru the illusion of self + separation = enlightenment yeah?
