Struggled with this idea. Maybe, the less popular ones, the books thats hard to find, that dont sell even in major bookstores... many of the goldmines exist outside... a lot of it applies to books too. Have you had any books that were secretive?

Got very few results, but did get a result, so I didn't stop doing this Going deep into it, I met one expert pick up guy getting phone numbers left and right, being really really really natural. I never thought one could do this in East Asia (Japan, China, and Korea) with so much poise and naturalness. I thought we had to be more formal, politically correct, don't be too crazy, especially in Seoul. Just yesterday, I met that expert because I know one virgin who was better than me at getting numbers and setting dates because he learnt from that expert. Just a month ago the virgin complained and moaned about his life with me, and now he's better than me in the area. Lol. I just asked the expert how to learn these things and he scolded me for trying to "learn" pick up. He just told me to look for encouragement but not information. Anyway, he just told me, the reason I'm not as adept to pick up is simple. (he's 37 years old, and his grooming, talking.. whatever... etc. is spot on) I don't practice enough, and I don't think enough about the way I practiced. Practice by focusing on one thing. Holding (getting the attention), talking. Like the way he holds attention from girls on the street. The length of his conversation, and way he behaves with the girls on the street, the stuff he says is just much more different than me and normal guys. Funny thing is, he never went to a club, and so I brang him to a club yesterday, and he didn't talk at all there. It was odd. The three of us didn't like drinking, but the two of us except for the expert liked to dance, so maybe he didn't feel at ease there. Anyway, I realized from him, that I needed to hold the attention, then talked my way (with amusement) at the same time. You can't miss one of them during the interaction. Expressing what you want from the girl like bullet points fast, then going for amusement is important I think. Being fun is important. And that is through talking. It don't matter if you're in front of a bathroom, or a bookstore, or a street at night. If your speech is amusing and you can hold, she won't just ignore.... and when she realizes you held her attention while telling her what you want from her, she just gives you the phone number or the date. It was intriguing, and I learnt a lot yesterday. Seeing a virgin do way better than me in pick up, and seeing that expert behave in an alien place, it was amusing. On the train station, I just ordered the virgin to go pick up a girl who was physically fit and had nice legs, just got that number right away, with a solid interaction while I struggle to hold attention from any girl.

I talked to a college girl in Ukraine. She seemed really stressed out. But she wasn't in Kyev. She was on the borders on the country. But still, in the night, 2am, 5am, she had to go to bunkers because of air emergencies. I felt sorry for her. I told her, "Young boys and girls suffer because of older idiotic politicians from both Ukraine and Russia." -

It's level one in the Art of War. Even if you are wrong, you must convince your citizens that you are with justice. Otherwise, the morale drops and the citizens will not fight. People do not like fighting against justice. So it's important to lie that we are the side of justice to at least get people partipate willingly to fight. Otherwise, the troops will be stale -

human connection will make you more spiritual. Don't think otherwise man -
Taking examples from how lawyers and engineers think, I think Pena insightfully explains the main differences between intuition and knowledge. I don't think he knows how profound he was in this video, though.

I have no idea what is a good way to rejuvenate, opposed to work. Many tips on how to work effectively, but nobody talks about how to rejuvenate well.
-
Work- Rejuvenation cycle is important. Have either of them wrong, energy consumption begins to waste I feel I'm not rejuvenating the right way. Maybe, physically, I'm resting, but mentally, I'm not. Any good resource? books, videos?

@ZenSwift If I might add, I read OSHO wasn't against "cultivating" and gaining knowledge through books. He told his sannyasins to read many books and experience life to the fullest before pursuing enlightenment. In his own words, "make your mind rich, then can you drop it"

In the first sentence of the analects, Confucius said that there are plentiful trustworthy people in the village. They are honorable, devoted to the country, and kind, and he says that he himself is the same. So what makes Confucius so special? Although there are many devoted individuals, there are not many learned ones, and there are none other than himself, in his view, who loves learning. He calls it Hao Xue (好学)which means love of learning. Well, I asked a researcher of Confucian principles what this exactly meant, and how this differs to Chuang Tzu's and Lao Tzu's criticisms against scholars who are obsessed with "learning". The researcher said that Confucius was a realistic practical man. Although Taoists are great, he said Confucius was a peasant, practical, lowly, down to earth person. That said everything I needed to know about Confucius. He added Hao Xue (love of learning) simply means enjoying the act of learning in itself. It's hard to ride a bike at first. But you learn it and enjoy the learning of the bike. Skiing. Same with reading philosophy, history, and math. There is nothing special about Hao Xue. Just loving to learn. Practical, no complexity. Nothing mystical. Confucius never talked about God, mysticism, or the other world. He was against those kinds of topics. (really) This aspect of Confucius put me off, but since I've begun to really think hard about learning, and also watching Eben Pagan's learning program, reading how Nikola Tesla learned, how Feynman learned, how Einstein learned, how Leonardo Da Vinci learned... etc. I've craved to find who can give me a good foundation in the philosophy of learning. Maybe a foundational epistemological understanding of learning knowledge. I've found that Hao Xue must be the most basic fundamental building block in learning how to learn. Loving learning must be the basis of all learning! Is there any other explanation than this? Can you find another one? Through love of learning, there is an awareness and understanding of learning. A certain distance from our mastery process. Thus we are prone not to make many mistakes along our mastery process. Reading the Analects from this standpoint, I've understood many things about Confucius. His phrases, books are not to be read once. For example, Tao Te Ching and the Dhammapada is a spiritual text. It can be argued these texts must be read through intuition, so reading them once maybe better than memorizing them and intellectually trying to understand them. Confucius' text are far from spiritual. It's about cultivation and learning. He believed even goodness and kindness could be cultivated and learned. To him love and kindness was training and self-help, not natural. All texts in the Analects and the spring and autumn annals are like riddles to mentally try to understand. You can't just read it as face value. You need to study it like you're solving a math problem to understand confucius's sayings, because he himself was all about cultivation and learning rather than natural intuition. By the way, Confucius said in his life time that he only saw one person in his life who had loved learning as much as him. It was one of his disciples Ahn Hui. Ahn Hui died early, he was sickly quiet but was a genius (so they say). So you get the grasp of how rare it is for one to really love learning 好学 in the way Confucius had explained it.

Over a litre of cherry coke a day. Mcmuffins in the morning. Icecream. The list goes on. The man is 90 years old and he looks to me healthier than any person who care about their health. What is this??? Maybe warren does not strain himself mentally about his health. Thats why hes healthy? Ive speculated people who have low health anxiety have great health ?

@ZenSwift yes, whatever you learn. Just learn it. Better to know than not know, it's a good way of thinking

@EternalForest I see what you are saying. But have you ever thought that man can love learning itself without an objective? If we really think about it, life is all about experiencing but at the same time releasing and letting go. Two contradictory statements at face value, but essentially the same. In other words, life's assignment is about balancing out the two spectrum of experience and letting go. Here, I'm proposing that at least in terms of having rich experiences of life, one must cultivate the love of learning. Learning and experiencing is ultimately the same concept, because without a change of behavior/experience, there is no learning. People like to think learning is just mental. No, learning is the most practical, gross, blatant, physical, down-to earth activity there is. And I cannot begin to understand how a person who does not love learning in itself will ever have rich experiences in life.

machiavelli said, a leader has to care for his body and mind. To train the body go hunting. To train the mind, read biographies and history. Make sure to read those that match your profession. Machiavelli advised princes to read particularly the best leaders in history.

This video really shows how much this man cares about education. It's truly riveting, touching. I hope I find a professional educator (for like schools, writing teachers, science professors) like this who truly cares about their students really learn.

@Leo Gura what's the laugh for. Maybe his purpose is to make a lot of money. That's a purpose too, you know. And that's what drives him and motivates his body to survive. And it's sad how you think you won't be a live beyond 60 or 70. How's that so predictable for you?
-
@mandyjw that's an interesting view. I myself thought of that without even knowing it. Where and how did you get that idea?
-
@Leo Gura Well, Warren Buffett wouldn't be labeled conscious in the conventional way. Least for us. Have you thought about how maybe his sense of purpose, or his mental exercise has let him survive those massive amounts of calories. Like how a lot of movies like to portray geniuses eating a lot of sugar, smoking, doing drugs to increase their mental performance, it's a known fact that using our brains like Warren Buffett will burn a lot of calories as much as going to the gym. I've heard quite a bit of how Warren works. This man is a great learner, and I don't know where his purpose comes from, but I know it's strong. I would like to think his brain burns the junk he puts in himself quite efficiently.
-
@Tristan12 have you ever studied so hard (no kidding) on some subject like music, math, programming, your brain REQUIRED you to eat candy? I've experienced this. Like as if my body, specifically my brain, would detoriate if I didn't eat candy that moment and time.
-
Maybe, he burns fat and sugar through using his brain to maximum capacity, no joke. We underestimate how our brains use a massive amount of calories a day more than any other other than exercise. And Warren Buffett loves to learn and read books. Over at least 4 hours a day just reading. And serving in a company like his, no doubt his brain will strain 24/7. Like how Sherlock used to do Cocaine and smoke cigarettes to help him think. Warren has cherry coke and McMuffins to help him think where to invest in gold areas and meet smart people.

I never done day game. I think its because i always imagined women in the day being more resistant to being approached than in the night. Is this an idea that stems from my lack of experience? Because, in my head, i do want to believe women are more receptive in the day, because, right now, im working on day game. Because i have no problem approaching in the night, mostly, because I always felt women want to be approached and are more receptive in the night club. Basically became pro at that whether or not i succeed. But i havent been able to do the same with day game ever in my life. Please unfuck my socially conditioned head.

In my observation, it's the people who can deal with their emotions well who are most emotionally mature and grounded. People who do not know how to emote or even do therapy with their psyche are the ones who cause most trouble outside. Do you guys just have friends to talk to of your feelings? Do you hire therapists. I used to have a brother where I did this. We had a falling out. Some of my friends. And we had a falling out. IDK, how do you guys do it.

Well.... If you hit a persons head.... He might lose his memory.... If something goes wrong in the physical brain, for example Alzheimer's... Then how could we not say that the brain is the source of all thoughts.... But we can't prove that the brain is what makes thoughts... Cause that is our thoughts. The Brain is just a picture we see in our eyes. And we believe that is where thought comes from but no....... I don't buy into that. In the assumption that thought does not come from the brain. But when we get hit in the head.... Why do our minds get Weirded up?

it's all good. I've miscalibrated once by just tapping a girl on the shoulder in a club. The face she made annoyed me so... I tapped her once again to make my point that she was retarded. I got thrown out of the club.
