Someone who is going into the field. And as Leo was talking about the limits of science. I cannot throw away the idea, however, the value and prosperity science has given us throughout history. As you know, man cannot live by bread alone. But we must consider this point, also, as OSHO once have been quoted saying: "It is true man cannot live by bread alone, but man will not be alive if there is no bread at all." OSHO had been very clear to emphasize how important it is for a person to first be rooted in the Earth and live richly before becoming enlightened. I think Science is that driving force and there is true honor in that. What would a good scientist be like? Show me your opinion.

@longusername12345 Harming others isn't useful. But as men go, we always have in the back of our heads "what if this guy beats me to death if I say something stupid".... If you learn how to fight, this thought vanishes, and you can do what you want more confidently. Of course, you yourself have be a responsible person who doesn't cast violence to others. But you must understand the value of being free from how others intimidate you can give you. And I recommend learning either muay thai or jiujitsu. Kungfu, taekwondo, is cool, but it has a lot of 'show' in there. And you don't want to be a performer, right? So at least learn practical stuff. Military officers learn jiujitsu or muay thai, wrestling and judo, but they all say jiujitsu is such a more practical art than any other, so adapt to the times bro, don't still be living 1000 years ago trying to learn chinese kungfu. Remember, self discipline, power, mental strength all throws out the way when somebody is able to punch you in the face. Learn self discipline and peace of mind from someone like Leo or any meditation teachers. I'm not going to say that martial arts teachers cannot teach you those things, but I highly doubt any of them are really good at teaching those things. Any experienced sports player is capable of teaching those things as much as those martial arts teachers. Knowing how to fight doesn't immediately give you the right to teach anyone 'self discipline'.

@Leo Gura Sorry to be rude, deeply understanding what you said..... it's just that you said so much, for 3 videos it's hard to grasp all of it (I have watched all of it. But it felt like all you did was way more about the fucked up parts of science rather than what the right science is supposed to be) Do you have any concise pointers of what a good scientist might be?

Not saying there is nil value in being a leader of anything you do, but that presupposes the importance of having a follower too. If there are no followers, there are no leaders. Although, I know I'm more inclined to be a leader than a follower, (my personality is such ENTJ LOL), but i cannot help but deny anyone who in any way implies all followers are somewhat 'inferior' to leaders. I just cannot agree to that at all.

As Leo had said numerous times, forums (open network of people discussing their opinions whether it is online or offline) are essential in doing any good research. Reditt, Quora seems to be awesome. Are there any more recommendations?

i think anger gets a bad wrap for a lot of things. Its an energy that can be used rightly and wrongly at the same time. One of which that it could be used wrongly is defintely when people flat out say "being angry is always bad" those people tend to be the most unhealthiest of beings. Any examples where anger can be a valuable tool in life and for others?

my dream is to study forensics and be a detective. Studying to go to college in that field before i go to police academy. Studying chemistry and physics, I wonder what makes a passionate scientist to drive him to become successful? Im reading feynmans biography, and the idea seems to be much around curiosity. I play a lot of sports. And one of the reasons that i find sports so attractive is its frequent tests on courage and strength. These tests are what drives me to continue doing muay thai and basketball. Music is its beauty of emotions that drives me to sing and play guitar. But what about science? I am a novice in this field....... but i desire to become good at it. Is it simply curiosity that makes one great at it?
-
@fridjonk thank you. Curiosity! Alright! I do have extreme curiosity and a piercing drive to find the answer to something. Often Leo seems to be like that lol. thats why I relate to his videos very much. choosing over academic success? That is currently what I'm doing. And I know many successful scholars throughout history have been like that. How ...have you been going against any community lately?

so u think anger is a flawed emotion? Maybe.... jealousy is kinda like that. But i think anger is a little different from jealousy. It can be high on the spectrum or as low like jealousy and arrogance. Sometimes, when i was coached playing a sport or when my brother was angry at me, i never felt more love than anybody at that moment of their anger. anger can be violent and dangerous too though so i get what u saying

@Leo Gura not trying to be too mystical. But night gives comfort, its the yin energy behind it right. The day, u gotta work and focus on business so there is no room for relaxation. The devil is close to yin darkness beer and music and women, so night game gets u close to yin energy. Wow my insight is getting heavy!

Leo said forums are underrated. Yes. 1. Need to find a good pick up forum. Please recommend me. 2. RSD old videos, (do I have to pay for them to get them? Any way to get it free)

Honestly, the embarrassment i have researching places to meet beautiful women. sometimes makes me feel like a creep but in a good way
-
I will be continuing to go to bars and clubs for being with girls. But are there other places where i can practice pick up. As the pick up community calls "target rich areas"? I live in a big city in seoul so probably we have everything here. Appreciate it guys.

I just need a description Osho, sadhguru, eckhart tolle .. Etc
-
I'm just curious. How are we so sure if anyone is enlightened? (For enlightenment... my definition will be the person who knows who he is... and is himself. And knows the truth.)
-
I really believe in my heart.... that osho is the most enlightened out of these three. Eckhart tolle and sadhguru seems to just know who they are. OSHO has some kind of "knowing more" to him

I think it's important to note... That we don't know anything. We are all pretending to know stuff but we really don't know anything. Anything at all. Really. Even scientists. Great doctors. We are being hypocrites. (Note this is not a criticizism against our communication of spirituality ) just important to note for all seekers ^^

where is it? In our heads? Is that all? Our thoughts are only in our heads? Or is it un relatable to our locational model? I need the answer. I experienced thoughts to be in the back of my head, on my forehead, somewhere between the eye brow..... Sometimes somewhere in the mouth i heard every cell has a thought. Does that mean thought is everywhere? I also heard the model... Mind is body (for example, if you are happy, your mouth makes a smile. If you are depressed, your suddenly crouch) same for the insides of the body

In the bible.... Moses talks to God. It puzzles me.... So God can think ? Just as an enlightened person can think? So the gods can think?

Philosophy defines truth as eternal. Because what is there to learn about what will die away anyways? -
Does the universe Mean God? And does the universe mean existence also?

I just heard from eckhart tolle that Marcus Aurelius is the only enlightened politician. -

I had this a few times.... You just know without reason. You just fucking know.... It's weird.... But you know it somewhere in your chest -

Hey, 2012 wasn't meaning the end of the world. It means the end of our world. Our own little worlds. So.... The Mayans said most of us will awaken at this period of time.. Just like eckhart tolle wrote the book "the new world". So..... I don't know... You might be right. Even the Buddha.... Said he'll come back as the friend. Which means..... Buddhas will be everywhere
