  1. The 5-MeO-DMT Mega-Thread
    The 5-MeO-DMT Mega-Thread
Soooo I plugged again today. This time up from 26mgs freebase to 27mgs freebase.
Previously have done 17mgs and 22mgs. Both, which certainly not bring a breakthrough.
Now with the 26, 22, and 17 there was ZERO fear on the comeup. With the 26, I thought I hit breakthrough, but still unsure. So I thought the 27 would be about the same as the 26 and boy oh boy was I wrong. This trip came FAST and STRONG. Faster than any of the other times. (Could feel it hitting about 3 mins in) About 5 mins in... The fear set in. I thought that I got the wrong dose somehow (even tho I have a labratory grade scale) and I thought I was legit going to die. This went on for a few minutes. Pretty sure I let it all go. But then... Nothing. No breakthrough. Just a lot of monkey mind chatter it seemed.
Considering I got the fear of death... I'll take that as a GOOD thing. But I'll also take that as a confirmation that the 26mgs that I did didn't deliver a breakthrough.
Now, should I keep going with 27mgs, or try 28, 29 and 30? Pretty sure one of those amounts will hit a breakthrough. As the 27 was likely borderline. And just hanging out on the edge. From all the reading and research, the whole fear of death thing indicates a small dose. And best was to "blast past that" is to simply up the dose and completely pummel the ego mind.
Any thoughts or advice from anyone would be great, as I still haven't acheived breakthrough via plugging, but hit breakthrough 10 times via smoking (14mgs). Pretty determinded over here to get plugging to work...
    Thanks all and much love

  2. Is Jordan Peterson having a middle life crisis?
Is Jordan Peterson having a middle life crisis?
    Ontology and metaphysics? Lol
That's where he is weakest. He is a dualist. He does not understand what meaning is, what a symbol is, what science is, what religion is, what God is, what language is, what consciousness, what morality is, what evil is, what being is, what mind is, what body is, what thought is, what mysticisim is, what gender is, what ego is, what truth is.
Name one metaphysical thing JP understands.

  3. The problem with collectivism
    The problem with collectivism
Individualism vs collectivism is a duality.
Neither one is an absolute good. They must be balanced of course.
But practically, in American society there is a massive cultural resistance to stage Green collectivism and over-glorification of individualism. Ironically this resistance is itself collective.
So when I push people towards collectivism, it's not because I think collectivism is the end goal, it's because I'm trying to balance out the stage Orange libertarian and capitalist attitude which has lodged itself in the minds of many people today.
It is a mistake to worry too much about the excesses of collectivism when right now our society is reeling from the excesses of individualism. So while you speak of balance, you're out of balance.
Sometimes reality is rude to one's fantasies.
When we talk about conservatives we are talking in gross generalities. It is simply the case that *on average* the conservative mind is less developed and less conscious than the liberal mind. If you disagree with this, you need to make a deep study of the conservative mind and developmental psychology.
This seems unfair to you -- I understand -- but you have to stop assuming false equivalencies.
This is not a left vs right issue. This is consciousness issue.
Again, you must be very careful not to project your self-bias onto what I'm saying. Your self-bias is going to make it seem like I am being self-biased. Don't confuse your self-bias with my own.
All of this is extremely advanced stuff. It's extremely self-deceptive. I am not making partisan points here even though it might seem like I am. I am talking about meta things which, for the most part, no one on Earth understands or has ever talked about. It will take you years of study and consciousness work to understand the things I'm saying and why I say them.

  4. Spiral Dynamics Stage Orange Examples Mega-Thread
Spiral Dynamics Stage Orange Examples Mega-Thread
This thread is not the best place for that discussion.
In brief, I agree that Yang and Sanders should not be fighting each other. Nor are they. Their ideas largely dovetail. Sanders is too advanced even for the 21st century. We are nowhere near "passed that". We are just warming up. Yang is part of the warm up.
Yang is not going after corporate corruption as directly as Sanders is. Yang's over-focused on UBI as a cure-all at the expense of a solid welfare system.
Again, I am not opposed to Yang per se. If he were president that would be a huge step forward for America. But I see Bernie Sanders as an MLK or FDR type figure who can lead a true social movement unlike anyone else. He has the balls to do it. The status quo is most threatened by Sanders. Because they intuit that he will call out their selfishness and greed unlike anyone else.
The polar opposite of Trump is not an Asian guy who knows math. It's Bernie Sanders -- who will attack the very heart of late-stage capitalism. This attack is badly needed to shift the center of gravity of our culture.
If you want to discuss this further, start a dedicated thread.

  5. Creative and Emotional types require a different path to enlightenment
Creative and Emotional types require a different path to enlightenment
There is value in learning about masculine and feminine ways of life.
But also, that is just one way to partitioning reality. So be careful not to get hung up on that daulity. It is a duality in the end.
Consciousness itself is not masculine or feminine. But from a human perspective it is useful to experiment with masculine vs feminine approaches to life and spirituality.
A heart-centered, love-based path can be very powerful. But it also needs to grounded in direct realization of Truth.

  6. Does a truth realized person reincarnate as an unrealized person?
Does a truth realized person reincarnate as an unrealized person?
Again, the problem is with how you're defining "I". The I of which you speak is the illusory ego.
The true I, God, has an infinite number of lives because it is all things.
Your life is imaginary. It isn't really yours. You've mistaken the universe for yourself.
It's sort of like when you say, "This is my cat." But in truth, that cat does not belong to you. You can't really own a cat. Only in your imagination.

  7. Where is the past and the future? No, seriously
Where is the past and the future? No, seriously
Again, causation is a dualistic notion. To have causation requires you divide the world into causes and effects (duality).
To say there is no causation is the same as to say there is infinite causation, because zero and infinity are identical.
Every object has an infinite chain of causes and an infnite chain of effects. Reality is an infnite fractal of cause and effect. Every point in the web is both the beginning, the center, and the end.
Or you could say that everything is uncaused. It's the same thing.

  8. Does a truth realized person reincarnate as an unrealized person?
Does a truth realized person reincarnate as an unrealized person?
You are all things at all times. You are incarnated as all living being simultaneously. There is nowhere to go because you already are everywhere and nowhere.
    THIS. IS. ETERNITY!

  9. Ken Wilber talks about politics.
    Ken Wilber talks about politics.
He's critical of Green from above. And he's mostly talking about Green as it crops up in academia.
I think the thing he's overlooking is that our national politics is nowhere near as advanced as academia politics.
So while it makes sense to criticize Green academia from above, this creates confusion if people try to apply this more broadly to our national discourse. The national discourse is so regressive that it's got miles to go before it reaches solid Green. By over focusing on criticism of Green Ken might inadvertently play right into the hands of the status quo and the right-wing.
It's important to not draw a false equivalency between stuff like Fox News and excesses of academia. Whatever criticism academia deserves, stuff like Fox News deserves x10 more.

    This is good.
But also, some girls need Words of Affection. Read the book: The 5 Love Languages. Learn to do Words of Affection because this is the top love language for many girls.

    Kinda tedious though.

    No where

  13. Which cities are at the top 5 according to spiral dynamics?
Which cities are at the top 5 according to spiral dynamics?
@Identity Problematic people exist on all sides, but not in equal proportion.
Racism and reverse-racism are not equivalent. Likewise with feminism and toxic masculinity.
Be careful with false equivalency. It's a very popular form of self-deception these days.

  14. Is Love the Key?
    Is Love the Key?
Yeah, you're terrified of genuine love. Selfishness & fear has prevented you.
Hehe, enlightenment and love are identical.
What you've truly longed for is a return to your true identity: as God
Right now you are a devil. As a devil you suffer from the disconnection from God's Love. But you don't know how to stop being a devil. You're too scared to surrender your devilry. So you're caught in bind. On the one hand you want God and Love, on the other hand you cannot stand giving up your devilry.

  15. Meaningful relationship?
    Meaningful relationship?
In other words, her and every other girl on the planet. LOL
She's insecure that you'll leave her so she wants pretty stories about why she's special and why you'll never leave her.
Of course don't tell her any of this, or she'll get upset. She doesn't want truth, she wants a fantasy. That's mostly what relationships are: mutually constructed fantasies of two people trying desperately to use one another to meet each others needs while desperately denying that this is what they're doing.
Women don't like being complimented on their looks because they know that looks fade and there's always someone better looking around. They want to be complimented on unique personality traits.
You gotta get more creative with your compliments.
"I really like your pussy" is not a good compliment to a girl. Find unique things about her to compliment. Maybe even some of her flaws.

  16. what if an enlightened person gets mental illness?
what if an enlightened person gets mental illness?
It's unlikely that they would get schizophrenia, multiple-personality disorder, or OCD because those all tend to be dysfunctions of the ego mind. To become enlightened in the first place the person would have to heal and transcend those dysfunctions.
Alzheimer's is possible. It's basically just going to lower cognitive ability & memory.
As you age you will lose some cognitive ability and memory no matter what. It's just a matter of degree. The peak for cognitive ability is about age 30. It's down hill from there.

  17. The 5 Universal Laws By Bashar
The 5 Universal Laws By Bashar
Put starkly, a "bad" thing is a thing which kills you. But once you're dead, how can anything be bad? If you cannot be harmed, bad cannot exist for you.
Now the trick is becoming conscious that nothing can harm you. If you manage to crack that nut, you'll only see Goodness.
God is that which cannot be harmed.
How can a gun shoot itself? A gun can only shoot that which is not itself. If it turns out that there is nothing other to it, it cannot be harmed.

  18. She is the one. Or is she?
She is the one. Or is she?
A special attachment is formed which feels irreplaceable, yet it is replaceable and there's nothing objectively more special about one person than another.
It's the same as love for one's children. Your children seem special, but honestly, they are no more special than any hungry kid off the street. If you were truthful you'd admit it.
The ego creates this massive bias for the purposes of its survival. It's the epitome of selfishness.
You need to lie to yourself that your children are special, otherwise there'd be no compelling reason to protect them from annihilation.

  20. The 5 Universal Laws By Bashar
The 5 Universal Laws By Bashar
    Universal Law #1
“You exist…you always have and you always will. You are eternal.”
In other words, your fundamental nature is that of existence (rather than that of non-existence). You are a part of existence, therefore you are eternal, just like everything else. Existence is eternal, and since you exist, you are eternal as well!
Understanding this Universal law, I’ve found, is quite relieving. There is no need to fear your death or the idea of your non-existence, as you are eternal. It never ends, you keep on going and you keep on expanding.
So, if things aren’t going the way you’d “like” for them to, it’s ok! You have an eternity to figure everything out. Enjoy the ride!

    Universal Law #2
    “Everything is here and now.”
We are experiencing our consciousness through a created filter of time and space. However, this filter is simply a creation of ours that allows us to experience expansion in a linear fashion.
In “reality” everything exists in one place (here) and at one time (now). In addition, you only ever exist in this here and now moment.
Understanding this Universal law has been helpful to me, as it has helped me focus on the only thing that matters: NOW (without getting too caught up in what “was” or what “will be”).
Now is the only place you will ever be, and now is where 100% of your power is. Focus your attention here and now.

    Universal Law #3
“The One is the All and the All is the One.”
Many people believe they are separate from the whole of the Universe. The entire Universe, it seems at times, is a bunch of stuff outside of “me.”
Other people, other worlds, god, spirits, etc, under this definition, feel like they are “outside” of us.
However, you ARE the entirety of existence functioning as YOU. I am the entirety of existence functioning as ME.
Understanding this Universal law has helped me in understanding that everyone I meet (here and beyond) is just ME from a different perspective. You are the me having the “you” experience, and I am the you having the “me” experience.
This is useful because it helps you understand that everyone is in this with you. We are all of the same thing, we all work together, we all need each other and rely on each other.
This fundamental law has made a massive improvement on the way I relate to other people, and to the divine.

    Universal Law #4
“What you put out is what you get back.”
As a teacher of the Law of Attraction, I suppose you could say my predominant focus is Universal Law #4.
You are creating simply by getting back what you are putting out. If you are sad, reality matches you with “sad” scenarios and phenomenon in your reality. If you are happy, reality matches you with a “happy” reality.
Additionally, if you spend 90% of your time thinking about and focusing on your business, your business will take up approximately 90% of your life. If instead, you spend 90% of your time focused on your family, family will take up the bulk of your reality.
Further, if you judge others, they will judge you back. If you love others, they will love you back.
Call it karma, the Law of Attraction or Universal Law #4, there is no escaping the fact that what you put out is what you get back.

    Universal Law #5
“Everything changes except for the first four…”
This final law describes the ever-changing nature of reality. No matter what we do, we are incapable of stopping change.
Different faces, different places, different events, beliefs and ideas. Reality is constantly in flux and it is constantly expanding.
What we knew 50 years ago in many ways is highly irrelevant and inaccurate compared to what we understand today. Old information and technology is continuously revamped, improved and replaced.
Understanding this Universal law has been helpful to me, as it has helped me detach more from the idea of things needing to be constant or stable. It’s helped me move forward when things have changed, where in years past I would cling to what was.
If everything changes, and change is inevitable, you might as well go with the flow and enjoy the journey.
Just know that even though everything will change, the first four laws will remain constant no matter where you leap to next. In this way, you always have a map and you will always know what to do, no matter where the journey may lead you!
If you enjoyed this post, feel free to share it with your friends and family. After all, sharing is caring!

    Tribal Communities.. Stage purple..?
@How to be wise It's complicated and nuanced.
Take a look at Osho. He was obsessed with materialistic luxury even though he was supposedly very enlightened.
Take a look a Zen monks during WWII. They supported fascism and Japanese nationalism, even though they were supposedly enlightened.
Being awake does not mean you have an advanced mind or an advanced value system.

  22. Who's Interested In Conscious Politics?
    Who's Interested In Conscious Politics?
I don't waste my money. Someone else in my position would live much more lavishly than I do.
I could go buy a Lamborghini in cash tomorrow. But the thought doesn't even cross my mind because it's such a childish desire.

  23. Tribal Communities.. Stage purple..?
    Tribal Communities.. Stage purple..?
@How to be wise Strictly speaking Spiral Dynamics is tracking values development. Not necessarily moral development or spiritual development.
Many stage Blue yogis have an ethnocentric worldview. They could be very partial to Indian culture, holding it as superior to all other cultures. Even Sadhguru seems to not be immune to this trap to some degree.
Oddly enough, you can be conscious of Universal Love but still be a racist or misogynist. Childhood attitudes tend to run deep and enlightenment will not necessarily transform them automatically.

  24. Tribal Communities.. Stage purple..?
    Tribal Communities.. Stage purple..?
It's a mistake to try to map that to Spiral Dynamics. That's not what Spiral Dynamics tracks.
Many Indian yogis are Blue even though they could be enlightened or have amazing siddhis.
Many Japanese Zen masters are Blue too. Western Zen masters tend to be Green+

@gar-4-field Not wrong. Go enjoy some sex.
Will it fulfill you? Will it solve any existential problems? No.
But ignoring it would create its own set of problems.
Don't guilt yourself for wanting a girlfriend. Totally normal.
