@Yarco thanks this article confused me saying stevia if anything was more problematic than other sweeteners https://awesomesupplements.co.uk/blogs/nutrition-fitness/is-stevia-the-healthiest-sweetener?_pos=1&_sid=890a9c8ea&_ss=r

@Osaid thanks for this. Yes I guess the main time I run into this is a post workout protein shake. Even all the vegan ones most have sucralose in them .. but the more ‘natural’ ones have Stevia in them i guess out of those two I will pick stevia though.

I wish I could find stage yellow people too I’ve hung out with new crowds at meditation retreats but they’re so green it’s unreal. They’re mostly all broke and living in camper vans, saying how elites are keeping them down and they’re going on a march… and they’re so blind of their own perspective. There’s no talking to them. They’re sweet though. anyway, wish I could find some yellow folks too. At the moment I just get my yellow fix from watching tons of Leo’s content, Eben pagans courses, Aubrey marcus’ content… it’s so lovely to see how their minds work

Teal swan is good. I saw her in london live recently. She’s good. But Leo is on a much higher level in my opinion. I also really like Aubrey Marcus, he’s different to Leo but I really like his channel

@Kensho exactly it’s on soon that some of the insights go Ok I’ll make notes straight away after then share them in a sober way in the future ?
-
I’m just curious on this (and not tripping now) But I had some recent trips where I wanted to post great trip insights in the group. I know Leo says psychedelics are you at your most ‘sober’ so just wondering why posting whilst tripping and putting down those best insights isn’t allowed

From past difficult life experiences, I managed to harness all the negative emotions like sadness, disappointment, frustration, anger, etc to motivate me before in the past. Using these emotions really worked for me in helping me create a new life for myself, I worked harder than ever. but I was neurotic, not that happy and not able to enjoy the journey/process. I think because that motivation system ‘worked’ though I keep falling into that system I’ve seen Leo’s video on positive vs negative motivation, and I’ve tried shifting it to positive, the vision of a positive future, vision boards etc and it just doesn’t motivate me. It just doesn’t. At least no where near the motivation from negative emotions. I noticed it nearly get toxic recently. I fell out with a friend, they were a bit out of order, I felt pissed off, frustrated and angry and guess what… I did my best weeks work ever I honestly want to fix this to be happier on the journey. But if I can be fully happy now how will I have amazing motivation to create a future? any advice appreciated. Thank you

Thank you to @A Fellow Lighter @JonasVE12 @nistake @OceanRiver @itachi uchiha for taking the time for your replies. I appreciate it I've been contemplating this, and took your thoughts on board. I think for now i've come to this conclusion I accept and I'm grateful that through previous difficult times in my life, I'm now able as a skill to turn 'negative' situations or emotions around as fuel for a positive. I don't want to live in an unhappy state though of not enjoying the process and journey through life. So I'm going to accept that the positive motivation is a lot slower for me, but it's consistent and I'm also happier on the journey. Then when something 'negative' emotionally or situationally happens then I will use that for fuel, but I'm not going to be waiting around for negative emotions or try and dramatise negative situations in order to fuel myself. I will just use the consistent and slow positive motivation most of the time, and know that when negativity strikes I can turn it around I guess this was just difficult as the negative motivations was such a strong fire fuel, the equivalent of a fast Ferrari car. Positive motivation feels like a slow car, so I almost thought it was 'wrong' but actually it probably just feels wrong initially because it is slower and not the same. But I would rather be consistent and happy on this infinite journey of self actualising Thanks so much!

@Crane Bahnsteik perfectly said!

I agree with @Tim R… some of us have now said our peace. There’s no need to go too far. We can’t forget the years of kindness and great work nahm provided. I guess this just shows that for some people these feelings have been lingering for some time

@Gesundheit2 this seems contradictory of a great teacher though to me a great teacher sees the world from the students perspective. Not continues to talk in his own language without any awareness of what’s actually helpful for the student to evolve.

I completely agree Leo nahm is obviously evolved in ways but I never found his contributions helpful at all. I was always surprised that someone like nahm who has done so much spiritual work was severely lacking in social intelligence to know the relative communication people need to help them. Don’t want to spread negative energy and say anymore … That being said, no one is perfect and everyone’s just trying their best in life. Love to nahm and all here

Love to Leo! no matter what you decide to do with your life, you’ve already gone above and beyond any other teacher Even if you never release a video or a course ever again, I and so many others will always be eternally grateful for your profound work

Doing my 2nd ever Ayahuasca experience later today. Bit nervous. The 1st was euphoric bliss generally, but I was very in my ‘head’ analysing everything that was happening one question, I remember Leo saying how profound psychedelic insights are … if you can remember them! I found this so true last time. It had me laughing in hysterics how true that was. I had some epic insights, but 10 mins later there was some other epic insight, and I forgot the previous one. Ha. question is, should I write a few quick sentences of notes as these insights come up so I hopefully remember them, or would this take me out of the moment?

Just to report…. So much came up about @Leo Gura was amazing! Probably about 1 hour of Leo as a talking head in my minds eye speaking directly to me. Was just so grateful of the teachings ❤️ -

@Gili Trawangan I’m in between chapters of my life. In limbo. So it’s setting the intention for a clear vision for the next chapter I’ve brought 2 items with me. One to signify the last chapter and one the new ok, I won’t try and write notes and I’ll try to stay present ? -

@allislove thank you so much! ❤️ -
I’m just shocked at how much these retreats can be.. some over 10k link here to some psychedelic retreats I was looking into https://www.behold-retreats.com/retreats i understand there can be a lot of costs but surely this is extreme. And if one even did get profound insights most could only afford a few experiences You look online and psilocybin and Ayauasca you can buy for under £50. so are these retreat prices genuine, or just a stage orange version of spirituality?

@Preety_India ha. I mean In a decade… the price for sourcing this yourself vs one of these retreats would mean over a decade you could have 50 experience … vs 1 weekend away with this retreat -

@Hello from Russia I appreciate that. Maybe there’s a place for these retreats… but surely it must be in the ‘very rare’ category. Leo recommends 10’s if not a 100 psychedelic experiences to get the deepest insights. well unless you’re a multi millionaire - these retreats aren’t the way forward. Just maybe a once in a decade experience And I would rather find a way of doing 50 trips than doing 1, 3 day experience for 10k -
I smoked DMT once through a vape. Is this the usual/best way?
-
Even when Leo did his ‘chapters and phases’ video 4 years ago he said he was at the peak and could see the end in sight. one day he will move on, I don’t expect him making videos every week for forever. He may still have some years left in him but eventually he will be inspired by a new chapter. We should always just be grateful for every video and give him all the time he needs

Well it’s nice in the group… but what I’m saying is, that retreats are so expensive because of this exact dilemma you’re facing now. because you’re worried about getting caught and it’s ‘illegal’ where you are… retreats are cashing in on the convenience of a place where you can do it all safely. look online, a 5 meo-dmt retreat will cost you thousands of dollars… but the stuff itself is not expensive so if Leo and others are saying they’ve done hundreds of psychedelic trips, then they have to be ordering online somehow
