@Jkris "the problem is thoughts". that train of thought is the problem! stop making thoughts a problem. let them be however they want to go. Can you see how you are creating your own problem? -
Robi Steel replied to SQAAD's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@SQAAD There is no reason or justification to go for the truth. That is why one says "for truths sake", the only reason truth is important is because it is true. Truth justifies itself Going for truth without any egoic motivation, without the intention of advancing yourself. Just because you want the truth about the world, thats all -

God puts limits upon "us"? Its not like you are some innocent thing and God decided to give you a shitty life. You have put these limits on yourself and in the same way, you have the power to remove them from yourself. Right now, you have unlimited power, you are using this infinite power to create these thoughts which have actual limiting power. If you stop actively believing and giving away your power and stop creating these concepts which take possibility away from you, more than you could ever have imagined is possible for you. @SQAAD -

@Jkris No one here is trying to give you a new set of beliefs or plan for reality. We are talking about the present moment. We are talking what is actually there, what you can experience directly. Being not knowing. Im not giving words, the words should lead you to something beyond symbols and concepts -

"Genetics" and "Hardwiring over millions of year" is a passing illusion, it is a ruleset that is true from a limited perspective and from a relativistic perspective. At the core, you are not made out of hard genetic wiring, the hard genetic wiring is made out of consciousness and it is occurring within consciousness and is dependent on your perspective on those things. The more you believe in this stuff the more it becomes your reality. Fundamentally god has no limits and no rules and is not bound by any physical thing. Your potential is unlimited because fundamentally you are not hard physical stuff but mind stuff. You are the nothingness from which stems endless possibility and capability. Genes are a huge trap and limiting belief. You can master your emotions fully and satisfying. Once you are fully awake tho, there really is no need for that, many masters like to stay grounded and enjoy fear or some anger here and there. It is human, it is not inherently bad, you learn to enjoy suffering along the way. Stop loving only the good stuff -

@Paul92 Just observe how you are doing it right now in this moment. Moment to moment you are actualizing your present experience. This is beyond causal chains, it is a direct ability. You cannot explain the universe by causal chains, because you always come back to nothing, how did something come out of nothing. The truth is that nothingness never became something, you are still nothing. It is just that nothingness has no limitations and there is nothing that is not possible for it. You are judging whats possible in this world. But before the world, there was no set of possibilities. Things being possible only make sense in a limited experience and ruleset which didnt exist before the existence of the universe. You are using magic to create words out of nothingness because that is possible. God is creating reality out of nothingness every second. -
Robi Steel replied to Shaun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Paul92 There is no difference between you and god. It is not like God is controlling all of your consciousness and is dictating all of the thoughts. To whom is he dictating? Is he oppressing his own consciousness? YOU are willing these thoughts into being, there is a faculty within you that is creating these thoughts and feelings. That is what you can do, that is what God can do. Your freedom is Gods freedom. You are god. Stop making a difference between this as if there is a reality or consciousness separate from you. Its all the same, your personal feelings and mechanisms are Gods personal feelings and mechanisms. God is personally yourself -
Robi Steel replied to Shaun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Paul92 "You" dont have a choice? There is no separation between you and god. When you will this sentence into existence, God is willing this sentence into existence. God is not some entity or some higher order, you are god personally. When we say that you are god that doesnt change anything about you or your life, it just puts you in a different context -
Robi Steel replied to Shaun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shaun Stop projecting your ego onto this consciousness. There is no form called shawn and therefore it cant die, it wasnt there in the first place. When you die, nothing will change about your true identity as God. God will be always be flowing without anyone being there, without any breaks, to infinity. There is no subjective experience of others, there is just universal experience in the universe, playing certain patterns and cycles over and over again. Just because a cycle ends doesnt mean anything substantial gets eroded, its just a pattern, a order that dissolves into possibility -
Robi Steel replied to Shaun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shaun It sounds like you are in a most critical stage of your path. You are in a phase where many things collapse and get twisted, where many old paradigms dont make sense anymore. This shedding and letting go is the hardest thing you can do in your life. I can tell that youre suffering comes from a place of thirsting for ultimate knowledge and an honest search for truth. Keep up your single-minded pushing towards the truth. I can see that it is important for you to realise this and finally get a satisfying hold on this thing. Your vow, your bravery, your determination and your heart will decide if God touches you in the future. Suffering belongs to the spiritual process, feeling lost, falling down a bottomless pit. Whats the only safe pit? What pit will you survive? Bottomless. Heroes push on -
Robi Steel replied to sausagehead's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The goal of spiritual practice is to stop creating karma, not to "gain" positive karma. What could be named as "positive" karma are actions that have no egoic motivation and therefore lack needs and shoulds and are justified by being itself. No "I" is interfering, therefore you should call it less karma and not positive. "I love her for the sake of having more love in this consciousness" "I love her for the sake of loving her" Instead of "I love her because she is attractive" "I love her because she loves me"; this would be creating karma -
Robi Steel replied to Dodo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Dodo Yes! You got it right To describe meditation as a discipline is actually false. It is a way of being, it is a way of digging the present or just being the present with no person, which is always the case anyway, so nothing really you can do to get there. The process of spiritual work is to realise that there is no process which is actually an important process. And that is why there is still a way and a process in spirituality when there really isnt at the same time. When teachers say, you dont have to do anything in order to be enlightened, they are right. The problem is that you are absolutely incapable of doing nothing, you cannot fathom what true nothing looks like or is. All you can do right now is be active (think, feel, behave). -
Robi Steel replied to MM1988's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
First of all, when there is something in life that you always wanted to do and always wanted to experience, GO FOR IT. There is no reason to not address the part in you that lacks these dreamy romantic parts. Figure how people get to experience such powerful moments together and see how such a vision is achieved step by step with someone else. What causes the most turmoil in you is the center of gravity for your ego, what makes you the most. That part of you needs to be especially overcome in multiple ways. Externally is a good idea to start Honestly though, these thoughts are at the root nothing more than the manifestations of an ego that hasnt been fully resolved and let go. Youre still holding on to these things as if they would actually mean anything for your true nature, they dont, God is fine either way, with every story and outcome. You act like you are a real thing that "needs" these things in order to be complete. There is no one I would advise you to solve this problem on the surface while also going deeper into your spiritual journey. The first option will make your spiritual journey easier and endurable but not solve your feelings of incompleteness, the second will then have the power to wipe these loops existentially. -
Robi Steel replied to rorghee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@rorghee Look, the problem really is that you think "doing nothing" is an activity. As soon as youre trying to get "do nothing" right, you already failed. Sit and dont move, thats the only thing you need to worry about. Quitting addiction is about *not* doing a thing, just stop your active participation in the addiction. Ground yourself in yourself -
Robi Steel replied to mandyjw's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
If you are in the ripe stage to leave practices behind you will know and feel it 100%. There will be no question about, the gravity of the present moment will overpower any practice that you do, practice will not be necessary because you are practising non-stop naturally. If not, you are playing tricks on yourself. Concerning the longing of doing illogical or insane things is completely normal. On your spiritual journey you should realise that there is no such thing as "sane" behaviour, its all equally senseless. With that you should come to the realisation of your inner death, once you realise there is no right or bad thing to think, no rational or irrational thought, this should turn your head into a black hole for thoughts and naturally death of your being comes. Many egos will try and throw scary things at you with their last breath, to bring you back in delusion. "Youve actually gone insane now, insane, insane". Be brave -
Robi Steel replied to Anirban657's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Anirban657 Be aware that everything you just said is a train of thought. The only one saying that there has to be someone in the world is this train of thought. Why do these thoughts want to exist so bad? Do these imaginations in your mind have any reasonable justification to assume that there is such a thing as an "individual"? A separate thing somewhere in your consciousness. Really think about it, what else can there be than the sound, the feelings, the sights, the smells, how can they ever belong to one person or being which is magically hidden in the background, "experiencing" everything. What does experience even mean? How is a perception changed when it is experienced by someone? Does make it any difference if you say the perception just "is" by itself instead of it being "perceived" by this invisible thing. A thought is a sound in consciousness, a blow of wind is a sound in consciousness. Its all equally produced by the brain (supposedly). Whats the difference between hearing a thought made out of consciousness and seeing a computer screen made out of consciousness (all the colors and forms are being produced by the brain according to neuroscience and your perceptions are not in the world, they are a product of evolution in modern scientific discourse). All of your consciousness is operating itself by itself and it comes from the same source: god. How does god create you? By trains of thought which tell you something about who you are. -

Robi Steel replied to Derek White's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Derek White I think this is a classic case of confusing thinking or no-thinking with spirituality or the goal of spirituality. Thinking is actually nothing more than an organ or function in your body which helps you structure your survival and yourself better. Thinking is not the problem, Ego is the problem and they are three things that are important to state here. -Thinking doesnt have to be bad or an obstacle, thoughts themselves actually have nothing to do with ego or letting go of the ego. They are just stuff on the screen of consciousness which has no center or ego. -The reason no-mind is so often talked about in spirituality is because thinking is the *main* tool that the ego uses to maintain its illusion. It is the best technology to keep you distracted, to keep you lying, to keep you from seeing the nature of existence -Your body and your sense of self is grounded in much much more than in the concept of "thinking" vs. "not-thinking". There are an endless amount of subtle ways in which your sense of self is maintained. Its not about conquering your brain, its about conquering all of your life and existence and thats how you have to treat it. Go at it from a universal perspective. Without a deep thirst for knowledge nothing will happen when you are in such a state otherwise. Focus on the abstract concepts and questions of spirituality with your thinking first and then explore them with the present moment. Explore death and non-existent first. Stuff like that "With Buddha nature in you, you meet everyone as if for the first time", of course your memory starts to get worse, your memory to a certain extent is a structure you build upon the present moment. This structure is a fantasy and is largely used to support the existence of an ego. -
First of all, the way you are on the inside, heavily influences how and how much others have an influence over you. The goal of self-actualization is to be grounded in oneself completely and be the master of your emotions and being. Your light should melt away their egoic and rigid way of being, this is also the point when you naturally gravitate towards the most conscious people and quickly repel negative influences. Heal yourself first and foremost. Complete the process first in yourself. During the process, if you are not strong enough to handle certain negative influences and people in your life, which may hinder your progress, start cutting them out one by one while also detaching a little bit more from everyone else in your life. Give yourself space to fully ripe to the state where people have absolutely zero control over you. If they create suffering in you, you are still causing suffering in you. If you understood their nature fully, they would not bother you one bit. Their low vibration would feed your development. The key lays in being them fully and being on their level truly while still being completely grounded in yourself.

God evolves and god figures himself out along the way. A lot of the delusional and egoic stuff is actually revolutionary compared to earlier life forms and consciousness. Its all relative what "god consciousness" means, the way we speak on this forum will be outdated and crude to people who live a thousand years from now for example. Change goes in slow waves, rippling through the stream of society, First a few pioneers, then the start of a movement, to the media, and so forth. It will never stop, there is no real goal or ending stage where you are god all the time and thats the highest point. That is just always the case, in all forms, and all of it is necessary to maintain reality well. When only a handful of people discovered logic and they were the only ones able to use it at that time while 99% were asleep. That didnt make logic unnatural. Get out of your framework and relativistic thinking -

1. Because that would become boring really fast. God decides to deceive himself 2. They distort reality and therefore put the "real" world in a different perspective 3. Meditation is the art of doing nothing, so youre wrong. Meditation is not better than doing nothing. Doing nothing is better than chasing happiness instead of having it without chasing, 4. This whole forum is a duality, your whole life is a duality. Reality works only with duality, youre cherrypicking. 5. No magic is needed for real spirituality 6. Spiritual healing is more than some hippi concept. Life as a whole is a process of spiritual healing 7. Thats right, stop talking, start meditating 8. Thats right, everything is perfect. Im just not the one with a problem, you are 9. Suffering is perfect (no contradiction) 10.Duality is an option and you have every right to choose it. Go ahead 11. Ego is a perfect example of infinite intelligence and beauty 12. Thats right, everything is consciousness. There is no need. Youre the one bothering 13. A truly loving being loves every kind of experience obv. (no contradiction again) 14. Just because you are totally satisfied by the present moment doesnt mean you are not allowed to enjoy the beauty of life? (no contradiciton) 15. Yes, that is all love and light. You generally have children because of all the adventures and deep bonds that come about from that. Reliving your own childhood and life. Thats awesome! 16. Because I can be pretty darn sexy and attractive sometimes Sometimes I just want a snack of myself 17. Jesus is ma nigge 18. Cherrypicking and investigation are actually two different things. Just because religion has some bullshit, all of it is bullshit? Open-minded right there 19. Thats right! 20. YOu havent suffered yet 21. Youre right because we seem weird? What was your argument. I dont care for him, I care what he has to say. I judge him by his sincerity and merit and logic, like everyone else. 22. Listen closely to yourself -

This doesnt sound that bad tbh. I personally never needed more than 250uq of LSD to experience the ultimate depths of the journey, but this depends on your spiritual "sensitivity". Sometimes you just feel ripe and ready to take a huge insight or change in your life, your intuition will tell you when a psychedelic is most effective. As for during the trip, if you really want to tap into the infinite space that is always there, focus on letting go and let the psychedelic "un"ground all of your attachments to reality. Question that youre human, question your perception, question physicality, question life. Try ripping of more and more layers of your humanity and pushing forward single-mindedly towards nothing. Push yourself to the utmost space of emptiness and present moment. I had the same feeling during one trip; I thought I might not wake up tomorrow if I lay down in my bed. Dont fool yourself, most people who talk about ego death on psychedelics were not even close to the meaning of that word. Anyways, I wasnt even aware that this was the thing I was supposed to do; lay down and *actually* die. I was so ready to die and it just came out of me. I was completely ok with the fact of being found dead tomorrow in my apartment. The moment I accepted my death *actually", the magic started to happen. I was reborn. Whenever you think; "ego death sounds nice but what if I actually died" "what if this thing right here actually ends". Follow that thought, dont kid yourself. Youre looking for actual death, not ego death. So next time when it feels like that the LSD actually wants to kill you, let it happen. A test of true love is letting go of this universe. actually. only then god will gift you with the sacred truth. And there is gonna be no doubt in your mind: death is not real. And thats the best truth to have discovered -

The word of god is sacred and pure truth, always. No matter how hard you try to lie, thats just truth. Its not like there was ever a time when you could lie
