@Swagala You are mistaking, that there is process to enlightenment. The process of enlighenment is to realize that there isnt a process. Thats a process. Being fully awake also means that you understand that you can never be 100% enlightened, there is never a point of arriving at the absolute, the process goes on for the rest of your life. It goes on forever. Realizing that is the absolute, the absolute that there is no absolute. You just move on the whole time with ever-changing new challenges, that is the absolute of no absolute. -

@Drake140 There will always be "suffering" all the time in the world, which is just more love actually. And no, you are not causing the suffering in them, they are creating it themselves, at least when you have gone all the way. You will also see it in that way, people fooling themselves. If you intuit still that your intent is causing them suffering, you have not understood absolute love. Love isnt about being nice and wonderful and positive to everyone, all the time. To love them really and talk to their soul many people need many different approaches. Ill go with someones racist attitudes if that means I can love them more effectively or if it makes it possible for me to get on their frequency that way. Its not about being good with a lower case g, it is about seeing the Goodness in everything -

@Anirban657 What you describes is a really good formula for mediation. But also for self-inquiry, give your mind the space to see what is actually there in your present experience, dont get too tied up in there. The insight is really subtle and sudden -

Thats because God is not a human and so therefore he doesnt object to the world through the lense of human suffering. For him, human suffering is an equal part of creation. Suffering in itself is just a play, it is a tool to create meaningful experience. Also, these objections usually come from a narrow point of view and miss the nuance of these issues. You know that variation of all sorts is necessary in order for there to be proper evolution and change. If natures never risks or goes outside of itself there could be no creation or phenomena such as "humans". Humans are a result of immense suffering and radical change. You also know that these individuals who have been dealt a bad hand by existence usually have the drive to become wholesome and extraordinary individuals. People faced with unfair suffering usually make for a lot of potential. I dont want to live in a world where everyone is perfect and nobody ever complains and has no problems. I love people with down-syndrome, they are funny as hell and a good example of living in the moment and being naturally authentic. And even the worst conditions evoke the most sympathy and understanding in people. It all fits seamlessly when you go through it in your head -

The next time you are tripping or something like that, go as deep as possible on the notion that "I" is nothing but a set of words and feelings in your body. Really try to feel it existentially. What "you" are, is literally just a set of ideas and webs in your head. "you" "me"; they dont exist in the real world, the real world is just all experience and being. What do you see in the world? is it "yous" and "mes" or are these just words in your head. What is *actually* out there -

The problem is that you CANNOT be aware of awareness. This would imply that there is anything that could watch or is watching your present experience, which there isnt. The problem is that you put conceptual blocks in the way of just being one with the present moment. The present moment is just actualizing all the time by itself and it isnt experienced by anyone. You are literally the substance of the present moment, so there is absolutely nothing you can do, to experience it "more aware". Awareness is the substance of you -
Robi Steel replied to Flatworld Crusades's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Look, the problem is that you operate still under strict labels. "Sane" behaviour is not sane, it is an assessment by you and your culture what is deemed "appropriate" and this concept helps to make this society work effectively and helps to identify people who drift off from the norm. Insanity is nothing but a gap between you and a norm group. The label of "psychosis" also implies this metaphysics, it implies there is an experience which is separate from a "normal" behaviour. Yes I had psychosis, I watched myself die and completely detached from my thoughts and the talking in my head. That is intensely scary. But just because the label of psychosis on this experience doesnt mean it does not belong to life or your journey as a spiritual seeker. When you want to go all the way, you have to let go of this fear of "dangerous" experience. The most challenging trips and situations are the ones that grow you hundredfold. Youll have to face it all and become used to handling these states. "Psychosis" is a label for running away from something in you. Something thats a part of you like everything else. From the absolute standpoint, there can be no sane or insane behavior. Its all behavior -

It is because "human" or "psychological phenomena" doesnt really mean anything. Yeah sure, you can label these insights however you want but that doesnt make them less valid or more valid. This would imply that there is a line between objectivity and subjectivity, which there isnt, there is only first person experience. All of reality is a "mental phenomena" if you think about it. "Psychological" is not something you can ground truth in. You are not fundamentally "human", you are fundamentally "Universe". Watch Leos videos about the Brain. Really really big and tricky thing to untangle -

1. The reason god deluded himself is that it is the only way for him to be something other than everything. Delusion is the mechanism of creation and of beauty. So all the stories, feelings, discoveries, adventures, arts; they are all a result of not knowing everything but wandering in infinity. 2. The reason God is able to realize himself is that first of all, these are the most valuable and enjoyable parts of reality; when someone limited figures himself out and is overwhelmed by his own hugeness and the beauty of God. Second, God realizes himself all the time because that is the only thing which is certain about him, it is inevitable. It takes more effort for god to delude himself and put on a mask instead of just being his true self. All masks eventually collapse and that automatically reveals Gods true identity. The reason that most of the people are deluded is because that is how good creation is made, creation with a bunch of enlightened beings is possible and surely fun but the tension and pressure of that world would go out quickly and there soon would be no problems anymore and reasons to exist further. A consistent and ongoing world needs a lot of deluded people. The reason God is so infused in our culture and the object of many misconceptions is because that is literally the only thing keeping this world together and keeping this world running. A disconnection from God, thats the whole game which is being played here -

Dont try to find a sensation in your body, rather concentrate on love as like a meta thing. There are so many different kinds of love and so many ways to give and to receive love. Love can be your willingness to find love, thats a form of love. Love can be all the things you didnt do to other people, all the times you were mindful of someone else. To love means to accept and integrate more people and things into your life, furthering your horizon can be a form of love. Love doesnt need a sensation, when you are mindful of your inability to love, that a love-driven thought. You create love exclusively by yourself. The sensation of love is not love, it is the consequence of loving something. Only when you first love honestly (to accept, understand) only then the sensation of love will follow. -
Robi Steel replied to Inliytened1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Inliytened1 There definitely should be a balance between the two. Although never get too clingy or stuck up with your seriousness, there should be a point where you realise that all of reality is a big joke and nothing should get you heavy-hearted. Only in a determined way. Alan Watts described comedians as having mastered their speech ability in a zen kind of way. The way of Zen is to "not being able to be wrong" and finding light in everything you do. A developed sense of humor makes a grounded person. -

@Pouya Nothing can end that never started. There will be rebirth into immortality, there will be rebirth to the nature of god. God was there all the time anyways. Dont worry, youre gonna delude yourself again in the future. An infinite amount of times -

There has to be a time when the real goal of this work is discussed within you. Not ending of the ego, ending of you, you are the ego. In order to stop this constant 1-upping yourself, there has to be end to discrimination in your mind. All of language is discrimination, all active mental venturing is discrimination. There is nothing scary about letting go of yourself, it is a matter of giving your body the proper peace it deserves. No-mind is peace -
Robi Steel replied to Andrewww's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Andrewww There is no specific technique for that, all spiritual practices aim to answer the question of objectivity (which is the same question as "what is the ultimate ground in reality"). You should come to the conclusion that all insights are subjective and that there is no objectivity in anything at all -

Recently the Daily Mail released an article about UKIP MP Carl Benjamin who is considered by many progressive people a far-right activist and white supremacist (falsely). I believe him to be a yellow thinker actually but this lays in the details and is debatable. What stuns me are the tactics mainstream media uses in order to demolish and tear down this character, just because he is a prominent voice in the remain camp (brexit). The daily mail used actual and obvious smear strategies to attack his public opinion, cutting up quotes in unbelievable and outrageous ways. Going so far as taking a joke about his words being put out of context, out of context. The writers know what they are doing and they are intentionally lying and hating others in order to advance their political course. Accusing someone of being a paedophile with the knowledge of your own dishonesty, is completely baffling to me. For me personally, Green people are easy going and accessible but I do not see them in any way comparing to Tier 2. A big fat ego dressed up as love and peace, the ego is still so much there, it is still so much capable of hatred and just pure evil. Be careful out there, here are a rebuttal and the article. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6967747/Now-Ukip-candidate-said-wouldnt-rape-Labour-MP-says-OK-sexually-abuse-boys.html#comments

That is the right attitude, to uncover the most deeps truths about yourself and about reality, you gotta have the strength to go places where no one else is willing to go. If you think "this ego death thing sounds cool but what if I actually die, what if this consciousness ends forever" go after that thought. Before my inner death occurred, I was "lusting" for suicide, not in a bad way, not at all. There was no doubt in my mind that it was the right thing to do, I could just intuit it beyond any doubt. I was going to end myself "Death" is the thing which everyone runs away in this reality, almost everything is structured around escaping death. Death is the big thing, the fear of death is by far the most prevalent and instilled thing in our culture, could that be a sign? Only the most brave will be able to see this and accept this truth. *Complete inner death is the ultimate truth and it is the only way to complete peace*. Because this lays so deep, it is the most difficult thing to do. Once you go all the way, God will give you everything: *Death is an illusion*, just like all the other illusions along the way that you discovered. Why would it be different with actual death? It has no substance. -

Backsliding is not defined by the thing itself, it depends if your ego uses these things in order to run away from something and distract itself. Stop fighting against these things and figure yourself out first. After that these things will fall out of your life automatically, because you will be to aware to actively sustain them, Dont hate on these habits too much, let them play out naturally, sometimes you need to hit bottom sometimes in order to make big change happen. Really see how you are deluding yourself -
