Green and Yellow people still buy material possessions. But their emotional connection to material possessions is different. Green and Yellow sees material possessions as = a piece of the earth Orange thinks material possessions = a valuable item found in store This is the main difference between green/yellow and orange. haha When you see a guitar, do you see earth or do you just see a guitar? When you see cake, do you see earth or do you just see cake? In both cases, green and yellow, sees earth first and then sees the guitar and cake afterwards. This explains why some green people are emotional about the environment and animals. It's because they see the earth EVERYWHERE. haha It's like superhero [earth] goggles that they are wearing that Orange doesn't have....or that orange forgets to put on. -
Hi Andreas! Time seems to exist for the body but not for the mind. I have heard non-dual teachers say that everything that ever happened is happening right now. And I don't get that. haha Eckhart Tolle says "The past gives you an identity and the future holds the promise of salvation. ... Both are illusions." but again, I can see this mentally but not physically. Physically, the past seems quite real. Like something happened that changed the material world. Probably with psychedelics, I would understand. haha

Genie: Rule#1: I can't kill anybody. Genie: Rule#2: I can't make anybody fall in love with anybody else. Genie: Rule #3: I can't bring people back from the dead. Reminds me of Aladdin.. I don't know if you can visualize yourself to the grave. LOL

All humans love narcissistic supply though. That's why we fall in love and seek affirmation from a partner. Romantic love is narcissistic supply on steroids. "You are so beautiful" You are all that matters to me" "You are an angel from heaven." "There is no man/woman more attractive than you" In romantic relationships, people eat that stuff up. haha Narcissism is a part of human nature. You aren't as strange or weird as psychologists want to paint you. Your ego is just more complicated. But it's still the same beast everyone else is dealing with. I would recommend Teal Swan's video on narcissism. She paints narcissistic is a more kinder light than most sources. Meditation and Non-duality also will help with narcissism. Ego transcendence and Shadow Work heals narcissism. But it is a complex layer of the ego, and you will have to go into the pits of mental and emotional hell and face your demons. If you are willing to face your demons, you can overcome narcissism. Yes, but all humans (especially unawake people) use people and things as a "source of supply". Ego = needing a source of supply Psychologists don't understand this.

I love this

But what if you want to hurt? I want to suffer when that happens. I don't want the suffering to pass. I want to feel it all. I feel like it is more beautiful to deeply feel the suffering than to get over it faster. And that might be my own delusion and insanity.

This is cool.

Ask cashiers "how are you?" , smile at people you meet, don't litter, etc. are small ways you can help out the community. It is all about intention. You are being too hard on yourself, btw. You aren't doing life wrong. You are on the right path.

I don't think this applies for corporate either. Many of my friends in corporate have been applying for jobs without social media.

Isn't that video amazing? I started watching it yesterday and am 1/2 way through it - I need to finish watching it later. He is dropping so many truth bombs in it.

His political videos and the viral edited videos are crap. Skip those. Go to Jordan Peterson's youtube page then click Videos then click Sort By then click Date added (oldest). This is where his good content is. I am watching all of his old lecture videos during my commute to work.

We have to be really careful with this though. haha I used to be a Christian and this sounds like my dad when he would say "They aren't true Christians." due to the things someone would say. With Bodhisattva's, the definition is "a person who is able to reach nirvana but delays doing so out of compassion in order to save suffering beings.". Bodhisattva's are tricky characters because they may not necessary speak about awakening with the public, but they know of it in their inner life. They are not necessarily obvious and outspoken in the way that maybe Eckhart Tolle or Alan Watts are. It's through small Freudian slips and pointers that make you realize "oh, maybe this guy or girls is awake but is just hiding it because they think it would be more effective if they did." Jordan Peterson comes across to me as a Christian mystic , who might have awakened haha, who is trying to bridge the gap between Christianity and science. And he needs to tread really carefully with this. When a friend or a coworker seems to be having a problem, I do not speak to them about non-duality. In many of my social circles, I do not think it would be helpful to push people towards "awakening". Sometimes the next best step is to help people within the dream and give them a sense of relief within the dream. Which I think Jordan Peterson seems to be doing. haha But you are right, I do need to take Peterson off the pedestal I put him on though. And maybe I have rose colored glasses on when I watch his videos. And I need to be more critical about his work.

You are right. My response was rubbish. Haha

There is nothing that you [can't] do on the spiritual path. The problem is not [don't cut your hair]. The trick is what is seen when the "hair" is being "cut". Freedom can be found in anything you do.

I am in love with Jordan Peterson. But I understand what Leo is trying to say. Jordan Peterson's work is all based within illusion. And Leo is trying to pull us out of illusion. Jordan Peterson is like a delicious illusion. His illusions taste really good. haha And when Leo speaks about Peterson, it feels like taking candy from a baby to many people. Because many of Jordan's lectures taste really sweet. Jordan is a Bodhisattva. He is well aware of stage turquoise but feels "responsible" haha for humanity, which delays his growth. And it also makes him annoying to people on the spiritual path, because they can see "Jordan Peterson knows what's up" but he won't cross the bridge. He is choosing to stay on the side of illusion because he believes it is most beneficial to humanity.

But that's what death is though. The cool thing about being alive is that you are bound by something. It's kind of like Leo's video from last week... if you weren't different, you wouldn't exist. Difference is existence. And to be different, is to have limitations.

Don't judge and it will be easy to love others. The problem on the spiritual path is judgement. Also , ask yourself "what do I need from this person?". Are you trying to fulfill a need of loneliness or boredom through them? That's a trap. If you don't need anything from them, they will be easy to talk to , no matter how frivolous their path seems.

You are taking life too seriously. Watch TV, go out dancing, etc. and chill.

This. Having an enemy is the worst enemy.

Same here. I recommend Vernon Howard's book "1500 Ways to Escape the Human Jungle". I have been eating that book up lately and it has been exposing all of my shit.

I second this. Sure! You can move to a place that is completely surrounded by nature. But in every city, there are always parks and nearby places where you can hide out in nature. I would highly recommend spending time in nature right now. Go today, even. Look at google maps and look at where you see greenery around you. You might discover a ton of new places near your hometown! I am saying this because we often dream about living in "other magical places" and don't discover the magic in our hometowns. And we miss out a lot when we do this.

I love the archetype of Peter Pan. From certain angles, it really helps explain the human psyche.

Just watched Moana. This scene.
