  1. I understand what you mean, most thoughts are insignificant and have no real impact on my daily life. Most of my thoughts are of the obsessive kind, definitely an anxiety trait. That being said, there are certainly thoughts that require more attention than others, but nothing is said on Headspace about giving attention to these higher priority thoughts.
  2. Im new, so hopefully this is the right spot for this question. I recently began using Headspace app to assist me with mindfulness with an attention towards anxiety. While meditating, I'm told to block thoughts by "noting" them and concentrating back on my self and breathing. I'm 7 days into it, so my mind is still all over the place. I'm told to take this practice into my life outside of meditation. If I am walking, concentrate on that, whatever I am doing, be in that time and place, which I understand because my mind is all over the damn place usually and really does need to calm the hell down. My question is, when am I supposed to actually let my thoughts be pervasive and actually think about what I'm trying to think about? I can't just simply go through life and not think about the past, present and future of what concerns me. Thanks in advance. -Scott
