  1. It is a result of evolution. An occurrence in the universe but it's nature is of thought. "An i arises forth with every thought and with its disappearance that i disappears too." I'm not sure if that answers your question but feel free to ask if not.
  2. @Nahm Thanks, I wish you infinite love too.
  3. This is the original post I assume. that is then imposed onto each “now moment” and interpreted as being new. All thought is old and never new. Just as all experiences are a projection of the old, and never new. When, or if, experience ceases to blanket the now, is when the new comes into being. Until then all experience is simply a projection from the past that is modified and impressed onto the now. Pretty groovy huh? And I hope you have seen my earliest post on this topic. I already understand that the i is a movement of thought. But I don't think we see eye to eye with the nature of EXPERIENCE. So I will tell you my concept of experience which is the awareness of an event or subject , it's the experiencing that I'm referring to. I hope you are as open minded about this subject as I am because it seems like you are dismissing other people's view point on the matter but anyway. I'm not claiming that knowing this will lead to awakening or anything like that because as far as I'm concerned this has nothing to do with Spiritual Awakening. Though I must argue against this... What I'm saying is that experience is uncaused, "the result of... " suggests a cause which is a movement of thought. Reality has no beginning or end. Like I said, it is only in NOW that there can be a cause and effect, action and reaction, a beginning and an ending. Memory exists now, without it the past ceases to exist and same thing with the present and the future, they are just thoughts that are existing now and only now. Experience does imply experiencer but that doesn't mean that it's true. Like how anger implies hate but that doesn't mean it's true either, I can hate you for loving you see. imply doesn't necessarily indicate the truth. I'm not really opposing you here I'm just trying to make sure there is good communication because it seems like we aren't understanding one another. I understand this perfectly. I was never stating any belief. Time is, it doesn't need someone to believe in it. I can never be nothing precisely because of i (ego) but I am one with experience hence I state - you are being experienced because you are the universe. And yes time is the movement of the i but don't assume that it is caused because of the implications. Infinity is infinity. wow this is a long text! But I hope it clarifies some stuff.
  4. Approach experience as you would approach time to make things easier. Time exists and this is not a belief, this is fact. It cannot be proven otherwise, I mean this is literally starring you in your face. Yes I get why people would say that it's an illusion or whatever but this doesn't change the fact that it's there. No thought or concept is needed to prove it's existence, it is simply there. Experience is Time ,and you can't point at it because that would be a happening in time, it's like trying to take a step away from yourself! This is all that I'm saying about experience basically. Within now lives the past, present and future. Hope this is clear and comprehensible.
  5. @Faceless if I have misinterpreted something in your statement then please, by all means, do enlighten me. And this knowledge isn't something that I have read out of a book, just to clarify.
  6. @Faceless experience does not depend on a perciever or "experiencer". Experience is merely the awareness of an event, this event is now. Awareness is not of human perception or anything for that matter. If it was then it would be a perception. Hence it can't be perceived. All thought and perception exists in experience. Experience is uncaused nor can it be pointed to, that's why I say that it is not direct nor is it indirect. Try to understand that you are not experiencing anything, you are are the one being experienced by nothing. Please, don't confuse your intelligence for consciousness!
  7. It was after some very intense meditation when I had this lovely insight. So as a person seeking spiritual awakening it sure does feel like the greatest obstacle to overcome is non other than your ego(sense of self). This chatter mind is quite the trickster and silencing the mind by the means of raising awareness is one hell of a practice. Well for me atleast. After numerous attempts of silencing the mind and it's ego, I decided to stop because this had caused a temporary split and I feared a permanent one. But of course knowing I had failed this caused great depression. How was I ever going to reach the state of peace? Love the story. When watching a very cool movie you would usually find a hero and a villain. And we usually tend to favor the hero instead of the bad guy, in fact if we are really consumed by the story then we would find ourselves completely hating the bad guy and hope for absolute justice or victory for our hero but then at the end of the story we would be fully conscious of the fact that it was just a movie or a performance then we would love the story because it was so dramatic and a work of art. So to get to the point - the drama was created by the roles of the hero and villain. Without the good the wouldn't be the bad and without the bad the wouldn't be the good. We are so consumed by this "dream" that we can't even see the beauty of it all. We hate the ego so much that we can't even appreciate the story that as consciousness we are simply witnessing. We are trying to eliminate the ego by the means of removing the illusion of the separate self but we are not aware that this very act is strengthening the duality. But if we would appreciate the beauty in this story then this would be love which is itself a non dual expression. Long story short SURRENDER YOURSELF instead of hating the ego and you will see the beauty of GOD'S story (dream). Peace
  8. Get rid of the notion direct and indirect for it is a conceptual belief. Experience has no duality and there is no thing that can exist independent from it. @RendHeaven @fluidmonolith Experience is not subjective, perception is. When something has duality then it is subjective and this includes truth (true v.s. false). Experience is uncaused, it is what you refer to as now . It is only in the now that there is past, present and future. Experience is independent and eternal. Hope this makes sense for you guys. Let me know if it's unclear.
  9. @EddyC this probably depends on what type of mediation you are practicing. For me, raising consciousness is the aim of silencing the mind. This has helped me to become more observant, not only as a writer but as an individual in whole. So now I'm more aware of the stories that surround me and I get more ideas from my environment. Safe to say that this has helped me with creativity.
  10. Once you remove the person you will truly appreciate the beauty of the universe. If you would just start with something small, for instance a work of art like your favorite painting ?, screenplay or music such as your favorite song. Then really focus on that art and it's beauty and while you at it try to remove the person(the ego that claims to have created that work) so that you may be aware of the universe's intelligence. Just open your heart and you will open your mind!
  11. Everything is subjective(product of the mind) but it's not exactly your mind that I'm referring to.
  12. D oes anyone have knowledge about this? After a couple of weeks of research and learning more about spiritual awakening I'm afraid I've reached a dead end. If you have practiced a method that you think has benefited you in your spiritual path please share your knowledge. I'm willing to try anything at this point in time.
  13. You have misinterpreted. I'm trying to say that nothing = absolute. A thing can only exist in comparison to what it's not (relatively). When you say that the absolute exists then with what are you comparing it with because there is nothing that is not a part of it. Do you understand?
  14. @Brent That is amazing, very very beautiful This poem describes this so beautifully, these sensory limitations they cannot comprehend the full spectrum of the devine absolute. Wow!
  15. @Quanty When you say flying dragon I imagine you are referring to the Kundalini. I've read about the necessary steps that must be taken for the Kundalini to awaken. 1 purifying and disciplining the nadis. 2 activating the Chakras. 3 awakening sushumna. Have you been taught why this is necessary and how exactly you can fulfill these requirements?
  16. You are correct but try to understand that you are right only in the relative notion. From the absolute's perspective there is no right or wrong, there is no "IS" (existence). There's nothing!
  17. @Quanty I'm not really sure what that means. Are you practicing it or something...how are you certain? @Leo Gura
  18. Yes but only in the relative realm. The absolute is beyond existence. Nothing can define or word it out.
  19. GOD is not light - light is bound by space. GOD is beyond existence (any information). All these terms and ideas are just pointers, none of them can actually define the absolute nature of GOD.
  20. The mind is not the product of the brain but rather the brain is the product of the mind. Understand this and the rest should follow.
  21. @Leo Gura what do I need to access your booklist. I already tried but it seems like there are steps that I'm not aware of that need to be taken.
  22. I'm not sure why but I find myself believing that there are a series of spiritual enlightenment experiences and the awakening is the ultimate goal where one is liberated and becomes one with god. The Kundalini Awakening seems to entertain (if I may use that word) the idea but I don't want to approach this "awakening" in a fixed manner. @Quanty how are you certain about this?
  23. Nothing better than realizing that you and the universe are one. youniverse
  24. Conceptualization is not all bad. For a person who being introduced to spiritual awakening this is necessary.
