Well I guess it would depend on why they are letting go of all that stuff. If it's for raising awareness for the sake of being observant as to why humanity has it's issues / problems / suffering then this would be of benefit. But if it's for creating a self righteous image or something like that then it's...I don't know, probably a waste of time.

What else besides reproduction...? The awareness of the desire.

Judging or criticism are ego based actions so the chances of finding a judgmental enlightened being is really unlikely. But would things change? Um...I can't imagine the ego transcending unless it's benefiting from it in some sort of way so no, the world would probably carry on as it were. Finding a shade of grey would imply some sort of transformation going on but I'm not sure about this, I'm open to other views. But what's your point exactly should I accept things as they are?

Depends on what you mean we. Humanity can suffer because of its collective ego and just cause you are enlightened doesn't mean the people you associate your self with are enlightened to. But as the Absolute we are untouched.

@Zweistein not often enough I guess. The problem with the notion of choice is that it can only exist to a certain extent depending on one's level of awareness so of course there is no choice to be made, we simply go for the decision that resonates with the ego. So no choice at all right?

@WelcometoReality certain thoughts do trigger emotions. Feelings and emotions are the same thing to me. Ego is a movement of thought that creates a sense of self basically, why? Other sensations have little effect to me now. Physical pain is normal to me, it doesn't trigger emotions much.

@Zweistein alright I think I see what you mean so my thoughts can affect how I experience things like my family relationship. But it seems to me like you are offering me a choice. I could believe in my problem or believe in nothing (reasons, theories, thoughts, etc). Is that it?

What is consciousness? What is reality? What is love? Any answers to these questions will be based on thought-concepts or beliefs. Which doesn't mean that they don't exist but then again, what's existence? Really ponder on this and you will see that these are one and the same thing.

It will still exist but it wouldn't be reality (or anything for that matter) consciousness is just a thought-concept, that which IS is.

Can you explain, not sure which thoughts you are referring to and how exactly does that combat the ego?

Ego appears to be against raising awareness, this may be true for both individual and collective however the reason for this is unclear. I've noticed a couple of tricks it uses against raising consciousness - and arrogance is one of them but I'm not sure if this applies to the collective as well. I'm wondering how does one combat this, especially if ignorance is at it's peak. I have an unhealthy family relationship because of this. Any thoughts?

@Mikael89 when I say hell, I simply mean not at peace, like how every seeker is not at peace. His advice to everybody displays his state of mind or mind set about enlightenment. The way he talks about the ego in his video. He makes it seem like it's an adversary and it is something to be conquered. His ideas of how enlightened beings stay silent? I don't know but that seems rather enslaving. Rules fall away once liberated, and there's awareness of infinite freedom. It's unbounded in every direction and especially from concepts about enlightenment. What is IS and will forever be. There's no suppression or excluding the ego, it can't cease to exist but it transcends. Of course there is no knowing whether or not you enlightened but only because there's no person to acknowledge such a phenomenon. Enlightenment doesn't need you in order for it to be. You refer to these people as masters but in reality nobody has mastered or is mastering anything, there's no person here, just infinite intelligence. But this is not a judgment or anything like that. Like I said, it's a mere opinion from my view. You may believe in what you wish to believe in, nothing is denied or rejected.

@Mikael89 seems like it, in my opinion. Don't know much about the man.

Enlightenment is not something to be attained, it has no cause so really any method will lead you there.

@Victor Mgazi @Faceless I wouldn't say it prevents it from being because all phenomena is a movement of it. But I understand what you are saying, since there's duality nothing can perceive the absolute. Right?

This TRUTH you speak of, what is it or why do you call it that? Are you talking about honesty or fact, what are you referring to?

@WelcometoReality i appreciate the advice. "Is this true?" I'm not really looking for self reflection questions though, yes they pop up moment to moment along with all possible answers which is all natural in this state now. This thread is asking a question. Curiosity is still a natural phenomenon including i. Thought maybe there might be a person who is now heading towards another enlightenment. This dream is way too transparent, perhaps there's another level or something but if not then it's not, it is what it is. This Sri Mooji guy seems like his in hell (in my opinion). Not really sure what his expecting, the i is a spontaneous phenomenon - it is also what it IS. There's no pointing to it and...in honesty there's no doing anything to it. Action is of itself, it doesn't require a doer or actor. It plays itself out like this conversation is playing itself out. Love is the sum of you and me and him. Nothing is blocked out or suppressed. Don't judge the ego, appreciate the beauty, even in judging there's beauty (can you see). Love is the name of the story (dream) and love IS. it's kinda hard to communicate from this point of view, words are too dual.
