  1. @Gabriel Antonio Like avoiding work/studying/practicing/doing with doing highly stimulating stuff. Why do I avoid it? Becasue they are not as stimulating as the escapism stuff in the first place. is the cure just sitting? or ?
  2. @Shin Then why some people do Strong Determination Sitting and grow a lot from it? Why not to be just to be? Why do a practice?
  3. @cetus56 interesting to see the comment section here, the denial of what is? Wow Orange/Green spirituality
  4. I love keeping my eyes open because I dont fall sleep and get into thought chains. I put a black dot in medium distance and completely focus on the dot and not move at all. (The body and the eyes) Can I put awareness on "emptiness" with eyes open or its better off with closed eyes?
  5. @Pouya @Salvijus Thank you for the video, i really like sadhguru Then what if a being is enlightened, is it going to still be awake after death or even next life? Or is it the end?
  6. @Nahm @Markus@Truth Addict the relative doesn't exist, mind illusions. Absolute is reality. But why does a normal question turns into a inquiry? I know the answers but never experienced them truly. Answering verbally will give me a false sense of spirituality. Also I don't know why they usually say you should toss away your ideas while talking about it. Isn't past lives a form idea? It can be real but the idea is just thoughts.
  7. Try out contemplation with a notebook for a while. Leo has a video about it.
  8. @28 cm unbuffed That's why Truth is uncommunicatable. Go find it yourself.
  9. Why people try to convince others of ideas? For me, ideas of non duality are ideas again. It misses the point of it. @Paul92 Go live your life as you like it. Believe in everything you want to believe. Nobody is forcing you to accept something you cannot accept yet. Maybe later you'll come back try again and maybe you won't. It's ok to believe. It's ok to not believe. No morality is needed for anything.
  10. My dream: I was inside a zen meditation room full of people meditating. I was out of breath and running into a door. I opened it and there was a old man with a white beard. I guess he was the zen master. I yelled: there are only two paths to the Truth, Love and Empathy. Then I picked up a piece of paper and a black pen and drew a group of elephants facing a direction but the one ahead of them was in light and others behind it were in dark and in shadow. He stood up and walked outside and drew the same picture but this time all the elephants were grey. He said there are only two paths to the Truth, elimination of falsehood and darkness and growing light and awareness. This wasnt a lucid dream which i could be aware and do stuff concsiously but after I woke up I remembered it vividly. What do you think?
  11. @Aakash This is possible. Ive been thinking a lot about why I cant love people selflessly and what is it that stops me from doing it. I knew the things I said and the zen master said, but the elephant drawings were things that i havent seen anywhere
  12. @OmniYoga reminded me of Zen Devils. But there can still be true gurus. I feel like more self inquiry/contemplation is what I will do. I like their tone and using vipassana before them.
  13. I see a lot of people answering this question with "you must have a guru. It has to be with a guru". Is it true?
  14. @OmniYoga Maybe both sides have some truth in them. I am also someone who uses rationalization on everything (not so good tho ) but maybe it is true?
  15. @Salvijus What if someone cant reach a guru? Going for other techniques?
  16. @Serotoninluv I have a view on yoga as a "woowoo" way of spirituality and I cant really understand how holding my breath and strecthing can help me with my false ideas and beliefs? You know, its like a ego resistance to ideas like chakras and mantras with complex hand positions. I dont know if it really works but apperently it works for many.
  17. @Serotoninluv @Salvijus many say this is so powerful and im interested in learning it but I dont have access to a guru or organization specially a true one. If few well written books can help, I'll go for it.
