  1. @7thLetter There is nothing that anyone can say to you that will make you “wake up” all of the suden. What you call perspective is simply association with though. If you keep believing in things, your thoughts, you aren’t moving in the right direction. If you think that everyone that gives you a pointer is just ego I would suggest you look inside. When you recognised something in someone else thats because you recognise it in your self to begin with. I tried LSD once and do not recommend doing drugs. I’ve never seen any of Leo’s videos. I have read the power of now and recommend it.
  2. The same as with all. To learn to surrender to what is. ?
  3. In my case there have been many times during meditation where I would seem very calmed, clear headed and sure of something I had discover yet I would change the focus to the body and I would notice my heart pounding fast, heavy breathing and there was pain in my heart. This is how I discovered how the brain does not give me access to all thoughts. With meditation the thoughts would surface eventually but its hard to find something when you don't know what you are looking for.
  4. Watch the body. The body is the true reflection of how the mind is thinking.
  5. Meditation, watch the mind, seek the silence and stillness. Live in the self, focus on being. Pay attention to the space and silence that is around us all the time. Ask your self as often as possible if you can hear the silence, can you feel the space. To measure your progress, measure how long you can go listening to the silence before you get distracted or it just goes to the background.
  6. Stop thinking. Thats the best way to save energy.
  7. @7thLetter there is nothing mystical or magical about it. Yes I have had some great discoveries but it's not what you think it is. I would suggest you stop searching for unicorns and rainbows. You will not walk on water or turn it into wine. it's constant work and I'm not saying I'm done with it. At least I continue to discover new things.
  8. There is no such thing as your life. The meaning of why you are here its whatever you are doing right now. Because that is what you are doing right now.
  9. @PsiloPutty I only just to hear one voice and it has been quiet for a while now.
  10. @PsiloPutty it was me and its was clicking sounds not voices...
  11. So it continues... I dont know much and I don't want to. But "thinking" and "analysing" its not it. More so when the party is not even one self.
  12. Im intrigued, does enlightenment make life obsolete? I dont know but I think if I knew the truth of something it doesn't take away the joy of it. If I enjoy jumping out of a plane with a parachute, knowing that I can die and anyways one day I will die. Does that it take away from the fun? Maybe Im in the wrong?
  13. Seems kinda funny how you guys are analysing something that 99.9% of the people in the world do not know for them selves. How can anyone know who another person is or thinks they are? Stop kidding your self. LOL Im with you. So is there consensus on who am I?
  14. When you get your mind thinking on doing something you end up not being able to. You create this though in your head of what you think it is and if you've never reached it before it obviously is not what it is. So, if I where you I would just try to relax. Do your "meditation" and just relax. Dont time it, what you are looking for is to relax. Observe the mind, watch your breathing. How your chest goes up and down. How the air feels coming into your nose and how it feels when it exists. When you eventually get to a point where your mind is blank, no thought, no judging, etc. Then I would start focusing your attention inward. Look into: What/who am I? What/Who is asking? What/who wants to know? What was I before my parents where born? Hope that helps. Good luck!
  15. 20 years taking psychedelics? I dont know man, but on my first try I knew that wasn't it. Body felling like shit, the high wasn't constant as through meditation, paranoia, loss of time perception, did I mention crazy paranoia...
  16. You are thinking of what I think when I say "I". Like I said before, "I" use the language to simplify. If you want to know what "I" feel when "I" think of I, its what "I" said before. Space, silence, stillness. Talking in a third person to "me" seems of someone who is trying to be different, stand out, the ego.
  17. When I talk about myself I am referring to what I am which is nothing. I think it would be silly if I refer to my self all the time in the third person as nothing or consciousness. Hi, I am ego, I mean consciousness...
  18. @Spoobie To me that its just watching/observing your thoughts and the body. Maybe Im misunderstanding body "detachment"? At least when I do this I can feel like im not fully present and the mind is working on its own but I do not feel detached from it. I am still there in the background, watching, observing.
  19. I dont think anyone can determine the path they take. You can only surrender to what is. Thats why there is no one path... Can we meditate for hours and "get out" of the body. Yes but this is not real, its meditation. Just like taking LSD, you can escape the body but you will always come back to it. I agree with that there is no "enlightenment" as there is no "I am ness". There is only space, silence and stillness. At least for me. I can't speak for others. So back to the original post, I don't think there is detachment from the body. Detachment from thought, yes.
  20. Have no idea what the color scheme is but if you are suppose to be searching for what you are NOT. How is creating a new role or color scheme going to help you...
  21. Hey thats great. I have yet to walk around feeling detach from the body and have never herd anyone else talk about it except maybe when high. Now realizing that one is not the body, it's thoughts, feelings and living it I share. So yes if some one does live this and can share it would be interesting to read.
  22. And how do you know what is supposed to happen at the stage your are looking for if you haven't reached it? If you can see your mind, the thoughts it generates, your are self realized. Not fully but you are awake and in the process. Looking for your idea of enlighment isn't going to free you any faster. You will just be allowing your ego to control you because you have yet to find enlighment...
