  1. Humans can create babies. Then those babies can develop and when they are older they can meditate and realize their unity with infinite intelligence. So yes, in that way, humans can create infinite intelligence... But on another way, no. Because if infinite intelligence were created, it would not be infinite intelligence, because it hadn't managed to create itself in the first place. Infinite intelligence must be self-creating otherwise it is depended upon a creator.
  2. 1. Watch Leo YouTube videos on self-inquiry and consciousness. 2. Read Gamana's The Yoga of Consciousness 3. Watch Mooji videos on YouTube about inquiry and the invitation 4. Practice accordingly 5. Profit. That's all you need for Self-inquiry

  4. Great report. You said it was free and donation based. But did they offer you the food or did you pay for it? Additionally, did you practice sit or laying down or did you alternate between both? Did you have to sign a term of responsibility? Have you read any Goenka book? Sorry for the questions but I've been interested in Vipassana retreats before, and I want to know more about them before attending. Thanks.
  5. What are your thoughts on this book Leo? I've heard there was a new version coming out, but it's really expensive, like $40 last time I saw. I'm also more into yogic teachings than Buddhists, so dunno... Thanks.
  6. Right on. All concepts, including the concept of not being enlightened, seem to block the Self. Even we are freaking concepts!
  7. Fine story, but slightly new-agey and shallow. It seems to encompass moralism and duality. Not my cup of tea, personally, but thanks for sharing.
  8. Spot on. Repressing is much worse. You need to practice Kriya and start converting that energy into spiritual purpose. This comes with time, practice and understanding!
  9. Welcome! 1. At the very end, I prefer to do being meditation. Though I understand that by Concentration you mean focusing on a chakra/energetic center like bhruma/third-eye, people should remember that the whole practice of Kriya is a concentration practice! I used to do concentration at the end, and I saw some improvement, but nowhere close to doing being meditation at the end, which is what I do now. "Concentration only" at the end makes me restless after 20 minutes. 2. I do it for 10-30 minutes, depending on the day (twice a day). 3. I think that means you need to improve your kriya practice (kriya pranayama etc). Make it more deep, slower breath, and the parvastha at the end will be stronger.
  10. Get both books, highly highly recommended! Prepare yourself to be shocked, both books are a gigantic jump from KSR
  11. This is an interesting topic... I think psychedelics don't allow you to see that you are in a dream. You are naturally already awake, but psychedelics may temporarily remove the barrier that doesn't allow you to be aware of that. Kriya yoga, meditation, etc, on the other hand, work to permanently remove those barriers, without the artificial inducement of psychedelics.
  12. Is any of this related to chaos magic?
  13. I've been practicing Kriya Supreme Fire at the beginning of my routine as well, but after Maha Mudra. Maha Mudra - Kriya Supreme Fire - Kriya Pranayama - Parvastha/Self-inquiry Whenever I have a really busy day, with little time to practice, I do Kriya Supreme Fire - Parvastha only. It's really powerful for me. Since I have started practicing Kriya regularly, my mind chatter has drastically diminished. I feel more peaceful and joyful in life, and I have experienced euphoric and ecstatic states while practicing. Kriya is truly making my body, breath and mind calmer and naturally more focused. I don't slip into unconscious states whenever some tough situation occurs anymore. I feel like some books and some master's words have also changed my maturity and degree of mind's purity, besides kriya.
  14. The KSR book is great if you have never practiced any form of meditation, but it lacks real depth and talks about too many practices while forgetting the real practice of 'being'. I used it during the past 18 months, it taught me basic kriya and helped me have a meditation routine, but boy, do I see its limitations now... it trapped me into techniques and complexity. I notice that beginners (like I used to do) give a lots of importance to the many complex kriya practices, and after some years of practicing them, they either give up or go search for other types of practices, never truly realising that the missing component was looking at 'I' and realising it is a mere movement of psychological time in empty consciousness. Don't expect kriya to do this for you though, you need self inquiry, and some even need self inquiry with psychedelics. Prior to KSR book I was following Satyananda's systematic course in yoga and kriya book. It was good, like KSR, but now I see its limitations as well. Gamana's books opened a new world in spirituality for me. But they are more advanced than both these two. If you are serious about enlightenment you will practice kriya and self inquiry and study non duality (and perhaps some 5meo). I agree with what you say about Sadhguru. I like his practices, but he never talks about non duality, and they are too superficial. They are good for those masses following him, but not for serious seekers.
  15. I don't think you really know what enlightenment is. How would you define "enlightenment"? You seem to lack real understanding on what it is, and this is the reason for you asking such questions. "You give up your life" - still trapped in the belief that this life belongs to you. "I am this body" or "This life is mine" are thoughts that still hold you back. "Existence becomes totally 100% meaningless empty" - You talk like existence had meaning and suddenly it was stripped of any meaning. It's like you were lying in bed, after waking up and saw a beautiful woman in the corner of your room, calling you. You went there, and she started seducing you. Then out of nowhere, when you were going to get things with her, if you know what I mean, you notice she is only a mirage created by your mind. After this noticing, she disappears. Do you know say "Oh man, existence became meaningless and empty?" No, you realized that it was a freaking mirage that was seducing you into an illusion. Now you are free from the illusion! Practice more mate, and you will see these realizations and truths by yourself!
  16. Fantastic thread. Some Mandelbrot fractals and 'infinite videos' are definitely mindf*cks.
  17. Hehe, I love this. Any suggestions for food that helps kundalini etc? I remember sadhguru had some book on prepping meals. Mby I should read it or Leo should make a video about this in the future "spiritual food"!
  18. Great report. I also love to do retreats at home. They are tough, but they do help deepening your consciousness. The part you talked about in the end, about being depressed afterwards, is very common. I've read it happening to so many people after retreats. Why do you think it happened to you? I've also noticed that the ability to concentrate does not improve with long practices, or practicing the whole day. For me, it worked better by doing short 30min practices twice a day.
  19. @Viking As Leo says, read gamana's books. You will understand why and everything else that the other known big kriya book mentioned here (the one you are taking your practices from) fails to address or even explain.
  20. As others have said, you are not being present correctly. What is it that you enjoy doing? When you are doing that which you enjoy, is it sh*tty? In these moments, you are truly present!
  21. He's fine. His videos are interesting but they don't go deep into Kriya Yoga or Non-Duality. He's a bit into Vedic astrology, and that I feel no attraction for. I prefer Sadhguru and Mooji.
  22. This kind of self-analysis is great. It def helps you get a better understanding of your current state of mind. But aren't you aware of "something" that is aware of both when you are "Highly productive", "no fears", "very positive", etc and at the same time, this very same awareness is aware of "feeling miserable", "Socially awkward", "gaming too much", etc? This awareness is neither positive nor negative. It is not attached to the positive qualities or the negative qualities. Can you notice it? This would free you from heaven and hell (duality).
  23. Btw, yesterday I had a crazy experience. I felt as if there was nobody in my body. As if this body weren't mine. It happened after I finished my Kriya practice and went to sleep. It was like I was without center, without any point from which I focus on. As if I was aware that there was nobody in my body, but I wasn't "looking" at this from a specific point...
  24. I got mine from Amazon. That's my go-to for books. Regarding Mahamudra there are different ways to practice it. You can do it like this maybe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7chqauQIuY Grabbing the legs like he does but in each inhale, pull your attention up from the root chakra until the ajna chakra. Then hold the breath and mentally chant Om 6 times there. Then exhale and move your attention down back to the root chakra.
  25. It's pretty easy. It's explained in the first book, Kriya Yoga Exposed by the same author. You should read it. It is also explained in Ennio's Kriya Yoga Synthesis Book and Kriya Secrets Revealed.
