  1. @Heart of Space IMO we have no chance of accepting our own death if we can't accept the possibility of unconsciousness Three pillars death acceptance for me were enlightenment, depression, and realization that as we get older there is less and less novelty in our lives and it turns out that novelty is one of the things that makes life enjoyable
  2. @Mirko Yep, everybody's gangsta until they lose their mental and/or physical health. Enlightenment doesn't end suffering, it decreases it. If you want to listen to some wisdom about suffering here are two great podcasts https://deconstructingyourself.com/dy-002-cosmic-joke-guest-kenneth-folk.html https://deconstructingyourself.com/dy-003-masters-oblivion-guest-kenneth-folk.html

  4. But maybe Jordan would know No? So maybe Francisco or Gandy? I don't know, what do you guys think?
  5. I've done it so many times that now I have permanent tolerance to it. If I ever get PTSD I would not be able to benefit from MDMA therapy most likely Psychedelics for me feel more like existential love. I don't feel an urge to go out and help people. I would bee looking around and feeling all the objects are made out love or smth like this Yes, I actually feel much more love after the peak is over and afterglow begins
  6. Is this stage red? A feminist's worst nightmare
  7. It's possible. I should of specify it applies only to humans on the planet earth I knew you are about to pull out this argument
  8. I guess you have never tried MDMA (you should IMO). MDMA is not really feeling of Love like on psychedelics but Empathy, insane crazy levels of empathy. MDMA is also not really a psychedelic, there is no psychedelic like headspace on MDMA.
  9. But how do you know if you yourself been doing them so much and don't claim to be awakened/enlightened sober? Thousands of peak states, yes but there are literally "only" 4 or maybe a few more states of enlightenment that don't go away after the trip, afterglow, or a meditative state is over. There are no permanent states where love is there all the time, even the most advanced practitioners have to do Metta meditation to get flooded with Love, it means they intentionally have to get into a state of Metta. I also think the big fuss is about definitions of the word "awakening" and "enlightenment". People like Ralston usually are using these two interchangeably and for them, it ain't awakening if you can't keep it outside of your meditation. Someone may enter a deep Jhana state where whole body sense dissolves or intense Metta but they don't call it awakening/enlightenment
  10. Well, it's very simple Psychedelics won't help you become "permanently" enlightened but they are irreplaceable for amazing peak states that are valuable in and of themselves

  12. @Farnaby I get triggered when people say they are depressed when in reality they have no idea what real hardcore clinical depression is.

  14. you’ll run out of girls rather quick in your town/city. The reason coaches get away with it is they travel all the time. This is what’s wrong with “numbers game” unless you live in a huge city
  15. Yea we are always looking through some lens
  16. According to the Buddha, after an arhat dies he then enters into a cessation that is permanent and so he doesn't get reborn anymore so become an arhat and then die
  17. Classic Nirvana is temporary attainment like a meditative absorption. It usually doesn't last longer than a few seconds/minutes
  18. So what? Many people are on hormone replacement therapy for the rest of their lives
  19. I can't help but read this with his voice lol
  20. This has happened to me before in a club but I was too inhibited to do anything
  21. Of course, nobody can ever be certain that the joy or suffering experienced was the greatest. However, I've experienced higher peak states of bliss than probably 99% of the population: The meditative joy of adept stages of meditation, the rapture of Jhana DPT and 5-MeO breakthrough + many small-mid dose trips Various drugs in high recreational doses taken on clear receptors with no tolerance like amphetamine, MDMA, Opiates, Mephedrone, benzos, GHB, Nitrous... from which the most blissful was love on MDMA and fapping to porn on amphetamine As for suffering, the peak state of depression and anxiety when I almost committed suicide because irritability and anxiety levels were simply unbearable. I think no reasonable person would voluntarily take x time of extreme suffering like torture or cluster headache to then experience x time of the most bliss they can imagine. I'd rather be unconscious
  22. What do you think about these statistics? https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2017/crime-in-the-u.s.-2017/tables/table-43
  23. @Frenk No, 15 minutes of the greatest joy and love is not worth 15 minutes of the biggest suffering
